We came for the first time after seeing an add for a Cinnamoroll Balloon party. Our daughters loved it. The staff was so welcoming! The shop is super neat, music is fun but not super loud. It had DELICIOUS ice cream and the fruit cups were great. Portion sizes are good as well. Highly recommend if you are in the area!
My family and I recently visited Snak X and had a pretty good experience overall. The lady who helped us was incredibly friendly and attentive. She made sure we knew exactly what our options were and gave great recommendations based on what we were looking for. The ice cream shop ambiance was spectacular. We decided to try a couple of their signature "Cinnamon Cyclops" creations: one with one scoop of strawberry ice cream and strawberry topping, and the other with one scoop of cookies and cream ice cream and a banana topping. Both were delicious, with the cinnamon toast churro base being a perfect complement to the creamy ice cream and toppings. We also ordered a regular cookies and cream milkshake (forgot to take a photo), which was thick, creamy, and satisfying. The bubble waffles are made to order, so expect about a 8-10 minute wait for them to be ready. While everything tasted really good, I do think the prices were a bit steep. At $9.99 each for the Cyclops and $9.50 for a regular milkshake, it felt like we were paying a premium for something that was tasty, but not quite exceptional enough to justify the cost. All in all, the flavors were great, the service was excellent, but I'd say Snak X is one of those spots where I might indulge in a treat occasionally, but it's a little hard to make it a regular stop given the price, so I have to settle with three stars for this place because of the steep price.
The indoor decor is fun and amazing, you need to plan to chill in to enjoy your order. Prices were decent, service was fast and friendly. Our treats were delicious and we didn't have leftovers. I definitely suggest bringing family and friends here to chat with a snack. Lots of sitting and available parking out front. Next to a few other stores.
Came here based on the San Antonio Restaurant Facebook page and it didn't disappoint! The owner was incredibly nice, patient while my children asked for samples and answered all their questions! The place has a great vibe, the artistry is simply amazing. The black lights, the cloud filled ceiling, the seating area and the techno/EDM/dance music makes this a great place to come get your sugar fix on and just enjoy it with your significant other or littles. However, you MUST check out the bathroom! I never would have thought to encourage others to use their one bathroom but if these owners didn't miss a beat and made sure they stuck to the theme through in and through out this place!!! They are great with the details in this place!! Bathroom was bright but super clean, white, with an amazing ceiling! Apparently there's noise like you're in a space ship but I didn't get to hear it! They had a good selection of ice cream and sorbets! A lot of toppings and options for the kiddos or the kid at heart. Their one scoop seems more like two scoops so the portion is pretty good and the pricing is on par with the amount we got! I would recommend this place if you want just a funky cool place to get your ice cream fix! My kids got the bombpop sorbet and the blue coconut and they devoured it. They sell bluebell ice cream so you can't go wrong! I had the butter crunch and my husband the vanilla! Both were exceptional! I recommended to the owner to post pictures with clever names so people can just point and say I'd like that one!! They even have alien lollipops!! Love the theme, love that they stick with it everywhere! Great place to go with the family or heck even a date!! Wear your neon/black light clothes when you go!! Keep this place alive SA!!
Love the concept. The murals were cool. The menu was pretty diverse and everything seems fresh. We ordered Italian ice (snow cone), a mango fruit cup, and Jupiter Jayda (vanilla, peanut butter and reeces). The mango was okay. My son loved the snow cone. And I thought the reeces peanut butter shake was delicious. Just don't eat the cereal on the cup because it's not to eat (it was stale). But loved how they decorated the cup. It's a small place but fun to try. The food took a while but the staff were nice. Seems like it's family owned.
Unique space themed frozen desserts! It is pricey but worth it based on the amount of ice cream/toppings/experience you get. Fun flavors available; customize orders to your liking. Flavored bubble waffles take a little time bc they are made to order, so keep that in mind. My kids loved this place. You have no idea how fun it is from the outside, so stop by!
Wow, y'all! I am so excited. I was out at a local establishment eating a steak dinner with my wife and son. I made the comment, "I wish we had an ice cream place close by". My son said we had a brand new place over by the Little Caeser's Pizza. Neither my wife nor I had seen it, even though we are in that area every single day. We drove over to check it out. This place is spectacular. It is decorated with a bright and beautiful space theme. There are a lot of tables for dining in. There is a sofa pit with a large television that also looks very comfortable. They are a snack place. They have several flavors of Bluebell ice cream. There are scoops, sundaes, shakes, and specialty concoctions to satisfy anybody. They also had some savory foods like hotdogs. I even saw some instant ramen noodles on the shelf. I decided to forget that I was an old man and go for something wild and different. I ordered the Buggy Blast. I think that was the name. It was an amazing blue ice cream milkshake with all sorts of goodies in it. I should have brought a menu home with me, so I could explain it better. Just trust an old fat man. It was out of this world. The owners are super nice. I learned through talking with them that they live in the area. Their kids even went to the school I taught at. I hope that the people of our area will go there and support a new locally owned business. You will not be disappointed.
This was our second visit to Snak X and it's still a 5 star spot the treats are roughly 10 dollars each, but considering they give you a monstrous serving size it's pretty fairly priced! The staff is super nice and the vibes, music and ambience is amazing for meetups and gatherings. I got their bubble cone with ice cream and it came with 2 toppings. Since the waffle is made to order it took a bit long but was way worth it! Well be back again . Also love how they have pop up events his time Bluey was there, follow their socials for updates!
It was a good snack! Would definitely go again, service was great, place is super cute. Great environment for kids!
Wow!! First time here and we are blown away that such a cool place was so close to home. Menu was on display but also had plenty of hand menus. Place was just as cool as it gives off in pictures. Service was wonderful everyone all polite and welcoming. Really love that they took an idea like a "frutería" and made it 100% their own. Owner should be proud. Come support a local business who deserves the love.
Hands down the coolest treat spot in this area. It's themed to aliens and outer space so it feels like your stepping onto a different planet. This place was right next to little caesars it's hard to miss, especially around night time. I ordered a sundae with chocolate ice cream and my wife got come cucumbers wrapped in candy. It was super delicious, there were alot of people in the evening, maybe because of the summer, but the service was quick.
Love Snak X, first of all great people, super nice and super friendly. If you like a good dog, try the Mexican Hotdog, chicken nachos are awesome too. Waffle cups are made to order and delicious when combined with a tasty treat of ice cream. I love the mango smoothie with nothing on it. Ice cream is fresh and delicious and plenty of flavors to choose from. The atmosphere is awesome and if youve seen 2001 A Space Odyssey go to the bathroom and see if Hal comes on.
This was our first time finally trying this place out and it was a really awesome experience. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The treats we got were definitely a hit! All very delicious. The menu had a pretty wide ranged and even has food if you aren't wanting a sweet treat. The ambiance inside is dope. They had electronic music playing and alien themed all across inside. If you love aliens, you would love the decor and art inside. Bathrooms are also are singles and clean! There's even alien art work in there. Definitely will be back!
Great choices and flavors of ice cream. The bubble waffle flavors are great. I got the cinnamon my wife got the strawberry. They were delicious. They have some great choices in snacks. From fruit to nachos with everything in between. You have your choice of drinks, shaved ice, and more. Service was super friendly. We came in on a whim and had to come back the next day with our son. This place is great. You owe it to yourself to check it out. read more
Wow, what a fun place. I discovered Snak X after seeing a tiktok posted about it, and knew we had to make a stop during our trip to SA. Immediately after walking inside, we knew we made the right choice to come down. The vibes were insane!! Everything was decorated as a space theme, with super cool menu items that also reflected an alien/space vibe. We got a couple scoops of ice cream and my brother and I knew we had to try their fruit roll up wrapped pickle that was garnished with 2 types of chamoy and tajin. Omg. It was crazy. It was so interesting and sour, but we couldn't stop eating it haha. I would 1000% recommend paying a visit to Snak X if you enjoy a dope space themed ice cream shop! read more

This place is kind of small inside, but totally worth the visit. From the decor to the taste of the milkshakes, The employees put their all when it comes to decorating your amazing milkshake ! The bathroom looks like you're actually in a spaceship, and when you close the door, you can hear what sounds like someone in the distance, talking on a radio with broken static. It's such a fun experience. We will be coming back. read more

We were brought here by a family member to have ice cream, and we got that and more. We are from California, came in on a Tuesday, and tried different desserts. Everything was good from the banana split to the Planet Pickle and Mangonada. Employees were helpful, smiled, and egar to help. Even though it was about 16 of us, they still smiled and didn't get overwhelmed. Service was amazing. Also, the place looks cool, and the bathroom looks like a spaceship. If you're in the area, try it out! read more
