I just got a bag of caramel pecan in which I dumped into a bowl to go to town, had 3 pecans in there, 3! $7 for caramel popcorn with a few nuts is just wrong and it has been every nut variety, that was the last one I'll get bc I'm always disappointed. The service was phenomenal. I was able to sample a few items in order to select a truly great batch. With 170+ flavors, it can be difficult to narrow down your options. I selected a mini strawberry shortcake, a junior loaded baked potato, a junior chupacabra, and a small blueberry & cheesecake. I recommend to try those odd names and options, as for the chupacabra ended up being my savory favorite! Although they are known for their popcorn variety, they still had many other candy, chocolate, and brittle options; as well as traditional and specialty soda pop. Yikes! Sorry guys, updating the review! Popcorn here is great, and we have went to this place MANY times. Unfortunately, we noticed this last time, that they charge over $1 for a "credit card convenience fee". Hate to say this, but in 2020, credit cards are no longer a convenience. Taking back a couple of stars because this should be advertised, or, patrons should be made aware of this charge. Not sure how long this has been going on, but that fee racks up over time! If you want to avoid a needless fee, you might want to consider cash or even somewhere else. Yesterday I was Blessed to run into the Co-Owner of Popcorn Piccadilly and decided to visit their establishment which is located conveniently near the Forum shopping complex. The owner and I chatted briefly and during our conversation I learned that perhaps one of the BEST Popcorn/Candy establishments had arrived into San Antonio. A fellow military member and popcorn connoisseur, my new friend had the little girl inside me dancing as I daydreamed about the free samples of pop corn flavors he was describing. Popcorn Piccadilly is located right next to Pasha Mediterranean Grill and is easily accessible off of 1604. As I approached the door, the aroma of the Sweet.. Ambrosia-like popcorn filled my nostrils. Stepping inside, the décor and aromas of PP transported me to my youth in Charleston, SC. The smells took me back to the Coastal Carolina Fair as Daddy and I would walk hand in hand and I'd have a bag of sweet Popcorn in the other. The walls were decorated shelves full of vintage soda bottles that would have any soda connoisseur ordering by the cart load. The numerous flavors had my eyes skimming from bottle to bottle and the only issue I had was which one to choose. (I purchased peaches and Cream ) You could tell by the assortment and the arrangement, that the owners knew a thing or two about soda. The other side of the store also caught my attention as the other shelves displayed rows of candy, taffy, pop rocks and candy that I haven't seen in decades or even knew was still being manufactured. Mrs. PP greeted warmly and answered all my questions about the Popcorn world as I took my time taking pictures for the Yelp Community. The staff was popcorn knowledgeable (top notch) and again (The aroma... That intoxicating Aroma...) As I continued my stroll, I made my way to the counter and was provided free samples of fudge (Over the Moon good), Banana flavored popcorn (which was just hot off the press), kettle corn and some Double Stuffed Oreo flavored popcorn. Each bite was flavorful and I just couldn't wrap my head around how they came up with those amazing flavors. While this is just a small list, the sweet young woman I spoke with informed me that a ton of flavors were in the works. But I spied several flavors on my bucket list to include Pizza, BBQ cheesy ranch, Coconut, Caramel Cashew, Pumpkin Spice, Confettii, Monkey Farts (lol), and several more. I ordered a mini cheesecake, mini banana and a mini kettle and with a drink my order came to roughly $11. What I find humorous are the other reviews belly aching over the price and I know that these same people probably pay the 90% mark up for the stale and greasy popcorn at the movie theater. This product is priced at several different price points for all types of occasions... and in my humble opinion is a great value for the Price and if you don't want it, don't purchase it! I would hope that theaters around the world would carry this popcorn and was in love from the moment I entered. Also of note, I learned that this Christian based company supports our military, has seasonal specials and the pictures posted I hope give you a reason to visit. I should not have bought the basic pc considering the Dallas was heavy on regular popcorn. My Granddaughter liked the confetti. The man (owner?) managing was extremely curt and quickly told the customer before me he could only sample two flavors. When it was my turn he acted like he didn't like his job. We love this place! The staff is very friendly and we find the prices reasonable given it is quality artisan popcorn. I wish we could get over more often. We especially like to support Veteran owned local businesses. As for the comment about a $1 fee for credit cards, all businesses who accept credit cards pay a transaction fee to the card issuer. It's not really a convenience fee, it's a cost of doing business fee since the business gets paid no matter what and the card issuer assumes the risk that the debtor may default. You're paying it anywhere you're using a card, whether you see the fee or not on the invoice. Most businesses roll it into the variable cost of the product. One dollar may not even cover the actual fee depending on the amount of purchase. My HOA charges $2 if I use my card with them and Guadalupe County offices charge $3 fee for credit card processing. I just dealt with the Texas Secretary of State Office and even they charge a fee for credit card processing. read more

Employees were constantly over my back as a I was trying to fill my bag with candy. It got to the point that I just gave up and left . Not worth the hassle the give you to come in here. I understand the COVID precautions were in place which is not the problem. The issue is you only offer 1 glove and an unreasonable set of instructions for the customer to go through the process of filling their candy bag. This means you are asking for the customer to open the lid, serve themselves and hold thier bag all with one hand. It's doesn't make sense. The better solution is too offer two gloves, one for each hand or have your employees assist the customer in filling their bag Rather than the employee "gently reminding". read more
