Usually I'll do drive thru & only go if there's no other cars... they are soooo slow even with no cars ahead of me. Smoothies are good. Once they did make one very liquidy... Drive-thru excellence at its finest! I went through the drive-thru at Smoothie King on Potranco and was immediately greeted with voices so warm and cheerful, you could hear the smiles. That kind of energy is rare--and so appreciated, especially in a fast-paced job like this. Shanez and Takira welcomed my daughter and me with genuine enthusiasm and kindness. I asked about the PB Swizzle, and they both lit up, saying it was a great choice. Shanez made it look so good, I couldn't wait--I tasted it right there in the drive-thru and WOW. It was bomb! While I was still enjoying mine, Takira whipped up my daughter's mango smoothie and even asked her to taste it to make sure it was just right. It was delicious! Last minute visit on Veterans Day and this place was hoppin. They even have a drive thru and online order pick up. Menu is large containing all kinds of smoothies and bowls. Thank you for the generous free 20 ounce drink! I chose the immune builder -mixed berry. Loved it! I could taste all the fresh berries and banana. Huge variety of menu items catering to all levels for health and fitness. This place is way better than Jamba Juice. Friendly service , received a welcome greeting when I entered the establishment. Attended the soft opening to this location and enjoyed every moment of it! Each worker was super friendly and made ordering enjoyable! The first go around, I ordered the peanut power plus chocolate and it was delicious it was liking drinking peanut butter lol my daughter had the chocolate kids drink and she enjoyed it too! We went back for a second go around and I tried the angel food and it was pretty delicious also! Tip: They have an app and if you download it you can rack up enough points to get a free drink! I've been meaning to come try Smoothie King, and I'm so happy I started my Friday morning off with a delicious smoothie! I got the Immune Booster Mixed Berry, and it was so yummy! Reward members also get a free upgrade to 32oz from 20oz on Fridays, so make sure you sign up via their app. The smoothie itself was full of flavor and had a nice balanced ratio of ingredients. The employees were also super friendly and helpful. There are a couple tables inside, for enjoying your smoothie on site. The interior is also very clean and kept spotless. I had an interaction with a young lady in the drive-thru window. Instead of apologizing for being rude and disrespectful, and having a nasty attitude towards me, the young lady decided to continue to run her mouth to me, about me two other customers, and to her coworkers. I asked for a the general managers contact. Paid for my drink. And waited for her and her coworkers to scribble wrong information on the receipt and handed over to me. I called the number and it went directly to the store itself where I then asked for the manager and the kids hung up once they realized it was me. I have had several disappointing experiences here, a couple days ago I went in to get two smoothie bowls and usually my total is 24 with some change but all of a sudden the total was 32 dollars at first I didn't question it and then when I asked she said it was a tip a 5 dollar tip to be exact, she never showed me an option to tip. She then said I can refund it but I had already been waiting 20 minutes in line. She also threw away my receipt. I've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but this is the third time it has happened. This is a recurring thing and I am so disappointed. We went to this Smoothie King on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered on the app and were given a wait time of 22-27 minutes-- for smoothies. It took 35 minutes. I've waited less time for my meal at a fine dining establishment. One of the employees acted confused about what type of smoothies were ordered when they were all the same. We were very close to asking for a refund and leaving. Just ridiculous to have to wait that long and the cost is out of control too. Honestly makes you wonder how they stay in business. When they first opened I thought it was growing pains, but a year later, wait times in the drive through exceed 10 minutes.
