The most amazing freshly baked Turkish bread is placed in front of you before the meal, along with a spicy tomato dip and olives. It's so good, it's hard to stop, and then there is no room left in your tummy for the feast of your main! Also, for drinks- the house red is quite tasty for the cheapest option. Both came with rice, bread, salad, onions, and all sorts of goodness. They grill the meats over charcoal right in the front of the store, so you know it's being done fresh. My friend let me try his lamb too, and it definitely had some spice to it, but was very delicious. The service was pretty quick, though we were the only ones there at the time. You just have to be patient while they grill your meats. And price wise it was very reasonable for lunch. All in all, this was one of the best meals we had in London. If I'm ever heading back to the neighborhood (which would almost certainly be for an Arsenal match), I'll be sure to stop in again.

We noticed there was no food hygiene rating displayed, which immediately raised a red flag. When we asked about it, the staff said they "didn't know"--even after we pointed out that it's a legal requirement. We looked it up ourselves and found they currently have a Food Hygiene Rating of 1 (as of February 2025). The fact that this wasn't disclosed--and that they wouldn't admit it even when asked--is incredibly concerning. Transparency matters when it comes to food safety. Would recommend caution until they address this properly.

The opened very recently and even if the prices are a bit more expensive than the old kebab that was there the amount of food on each plate is bigger as well. Chicken kebab taste is amazing + the meat doesn't look like the rest of the places, it looks like they have freshly-prepared meat and you can notice it on the amazing flavor that the chicken has! You can ask for a roll or on a plate, my suggestion is to take it on a plate since they include an gorgeous homemade bread with it!
