I went to Cappadocia thinking it was an italian restaurant considering the name. However it is infact a turkish restaurant serving nothing but turkish food. In all honesty, Cappadocia was one of the wors restaurants I have been to. I went during the day, there was no other visitors there except for me and my friend and the food still took 2 hours to prepare. I have a theory, I believe that if you are to eat certain food like turkish, persian, chinese, mexican and so forth you should always try the basics. If the restaurant prepares a bad basic dish then the other dishes are not worth trying. I tried the Doner kebab which is one of the basic turkish dishes. To me this doner kebab was more like salt kebab. My friend who ordered chicken kebab found that her food was over salted aswell. I definitely do not recommend Cappadocia during day time. Pro's: Close to transportation away from there Con's: Food too salty, prices not worth, small, bad service.

This Turkish restaurant is hard to miss as it is right across the road from Kingston railway station entrance. The beneficial location explains its popularity. We went into Cappadocia on a Friday evening for dinner and good thing we booked a table for four of us in advance as the place gets quite busy. It's a great place for small to medium groups to celebrate events. While we were there, two different groups had a birthday celebration and the waiting staff did a 'cake bringing ceremony' accompanied by corresponding music. The waiting staff is nice and able to give advice on the dishes if you are indecisive what to choose. It did not take long for the food to arrive even though the place was full. We started with a hot meze plate for 4 which consisted of Sigara Borek, Lambs Liver, Filibe Kofte, Halloumi Cheese, Falafel & Sucuk. Sigara Borek was my favourite of all the mezes, cigar shaped pastry made with feta cheese. For the mains I went for authentic turkish cuisine dish Kuzu Incik which is a shank of lamb slowly cooked in an oven topped with aubergin and served together with salad and bulgur. The meat was tender and I would recommend trying the dish once. As usual in some Mediterranean restaurants, turkish delight is brought together with the bill in order to make your evening sweeter.

Everything was amazing, would highly recommend. No reservation needed but they do get busy, reserve if possible.

Authentic Turkish food! Amazing, just amazing service from Berken and his team with the smiles and warm" where have you been" greeting the second we entered! Belly dancing( better get warmed up and ready to jump in); The best kebabs in the south and east of London, not just my vote but unanimous via polls and 5 star customer reviews. Gorgeous interior. Beautiful tea. Huge portions. Unbelievable prices - €35 for a multi course dinner( three meals in one basically). No charge for extra hummus or salad( by the way the hummus was outstanding - so fresh!). Gorgeous presentation. This was a sensational, fifty star experience!

The aesthetics and ambiance of this restaurant were great and we soon found out that Thursday is 'Belly Dancing Night'. Ordered more food than we could ever finish as we do not have easy access to Turkish food back in the States. We ordered garlic bread (thumbs up from my son), the cheese platter/ tomatoes, fried cheese rolls, Scottish ribeye, mixed grill platter, Chicken shish, and chicken addana. Everything was great however the Adana was a bit dry. My son and I loved the Ribeye steak which had a rosemary flare to it. Solid 4.3 out of 5 and would definitely return if we are ever back in this part of the Country.

After passing this place many times (usually when I wasn't hungry) and reading all the glowing…read morereviews I finally got the chance to try this place. The interior is very nice and as I had arrived just after noon I had my choice of tables. I sat by the window for a nice view out onto the street. While I was waiting for my meal I was served a bowl of warm flatbreads (apparently made in-house) and a little bowl of olives. The main course I opted for was adana kofte served with rice and salad. The lamb was cooked on skewers which are then removed before serving leaving two perfect pooh-shaped sausages on the plate. And very tasty it was too despite the slightly off-putting appearance. The salad was very nice and a generous portion too. I just about managed to finish my meal (washed down with a glass of tango) despite the flatbreads almost having filled me up. The bill arrived along with a small, but greatly appreciated, cube of turkish delight. Service and ambiance was excellent, I look forward to returning and trying something a little less pooh-shaped.
