When his shift was done, it never opened up again all weekend. The change machine in the arcade was broken, but because they are cashless there was no way to get coins for my grandkids to play games. Bingo that was scheduled for 6pm started late because the volunteer came to set it up at 6. The next day we purchased the sand for gem mining and had to wait over 20 minutes for a volunteer to fill the water tank so it would work. My husband said the men's bathrooms were grossly dirty. Positives: The small pool was nice, the grandchildren had fun there. The bounce pad was too hot during the day but was fun for them also. Sites are grassy and had WiFi since there was no cell service there. The volunteers were nice. Even though bingo started late, it did end up being fun.

Employees should wear one to protect customers. You are protecting yourselves from customers but are not protecting the very people that gave you the much needed revenue, just a little detail. Very nice gravel but my site was not level and I am talking about one side lower than the other, not front and back but I was able to fix that. Didn't have a problem with noise, the road does not have heavy traffic anyway. Overall well organized with mowing lawn and dumpster. Close to NC Zoo and to Asheboro and High Point, we would return if we were in the area

I'd buy another camper just to be seasonal. We missed weekend activities due to only being here Mon-Fri but still a lot of kid activities!! They highlight the fun trails for golf cart rides, the stocked ponds for fishing, and the overall peaceful and enjoyable experience for families. Also like the friendly and attentive staff who go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome.

Afterwards later that day she seemed more sociable and as days went by.. she was of a great help. A lot of live in people here. Spaces are nice and spacious. Shady as well. There are a lot of long termers and while I have been to places this was a negative, it is not the case here. They were friendly and campers were kept up. My only wish was the pool opened earlier in the day, especially on days that it was 90 degrees before 10am. I took my daughter and her friend here in my 32ft class C and had no problem at all maneuvering. Has full hook-ups with no issues. Each site had it's own trash and fire pit. Kids enjoyed slushies, a few pool games and lots of swimming. There are some video games as well as a juke box but the juke box was out of order when we were there. As a warning, bring cash or check. No credit cards accepted. The rates are reasonable. They have a calendar of events and I happen to stay the one weekend nothing was scheduled. They have an Easter Egg hunt every year that my kids have enjoyed in the past and still talk about it. It's a great place to relax and make some memories.

My only regret- not getting more time here! My very first Bed and Breakfast and they truly…read morefulfilled and exceeded my expectations! Jessica greeted us in the parking lot outside and showed us inside and gave us the grand tour. Our room was the largest one- with the biggest bathroom too and just inside the front door. Perfect for us! Across from our room was the sitting room where her father (who was visiting) was working on a puzzle. The father greeted us warmly and said we could help with the puzzle if we would like. Noted*, there was a small hall way with stairs going up to the other rooms, and half bath & into the dining sun room. This is where breakfasts would be, coffee, tea and snacks were available whenever you wanted and the house was simply charming. There was a formal dining room too- I loved the antiques and historic quality in the decor. Jessica and her husband bought the Duck Smith House a couple years ago and they were both very generous with any help and information. I did partake in the puzzle and helped finish it. The breakfasts were simply delightful! Our first morning, she made apple sourdough pancakes that were an inch thick (at least)! And the bacon!!! Day two was quiche- one of my favorites and day three was waffles with stewed apples. I overheard Jessica telling someone else that she tries to rotate between sweet and savory for breakfast. John and I also enjoyed all the kitties, the goats- I fed them some grapes! and I loved the pumpkin patch they had set up for the weekend! John even went out to Justin's model shop. I hope I get to stay here again, because I absolutely loved it!!!
