This was my first time receiving a service at the Wellness location next door. The massage room was large and quiet. Anne provided an excellent massage. Has gone down hill recently. I had a very bad experience with my hair and the solution they offered was to strip my hair, which they had just done 6 weeks before. There was no compensation given and I have spent thousands of dollars at the salon and spa. Today, I made an appointment to get a pedicure. When I arrived at my appointment time, there were no pedicure seats available. I was told they made a mistake when they scheduled me but that I could get a manicure. Manicure? I wanted a pedicure. Again, no compensation for messing up my day. Then, I was told I was welcome to come back almost two hours later! I told them to just cancel my appointment. Then I canceled all of my future appointments. Very sad how poorly I've been treated.​ read more

Literally the worst pedicure to ever be given. I heard amazing reviews and got my mom a pedicure for Mother's Day. She walked in to this "spa" and said hello, to which she was met with dirty looks and stares. She was brought to a chair, was not engaged at all, my poor mom even had to ask for the chair to be turned on. Exfoliating soap was slapped on, not even rubbed in to EXFOLIATE the skin, and put back in the water. Lotion was slapped on, not even rubbed into the skin. Once the nail polish was on the employee was like "do you even want to dry or are you just going to leave" in which my mom, frustrated and embarrassed, said "yeah I'm going to leave." As she was leaving whoever was manning the door asked how it was in which my mom said "that was the worst pedicure I have ever had and I will not be returning" in which this fake employee, who obviously didn't care and wasn't even listening, replied "yay I'm so glad!" What a joke of an establishment! $45 for what?? Inadequate service and pettiness??? read more

I went in for a wax service with Cecilia (Cece) she did an A-1 job; she recommended some skin treatments for me that I feel will really help. Very clean establishment; beautifully decorated and cozy. I could see myself coming back for more treatments and bringing my hubby. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. I got my son a delightful herbal mixture because he hadn't been feeling well and it really helped clear him up; great odor and herbal mix; I recommend it. I was visiting home for the holidays so I went to the most decent looking place I could find. Overall the place is quaint and the indoor decor is very bright and welcoming on the inside. Unfortunately, the service did not live up to the ambiance of the place. My stylist started by giving me a preliminary cut of my ends and then asked if i could take a seat to wait for her to wash my hair as she finished with another customer. I tried to be understanding and complied. However, when she came back to wash my hair, apparently she again asked to be excused to go work on another customer. So she left me sitting in my chair with my dripping wet hair for over 10 minutes. When she came back she apologized again and finished my hair. She did a decent job but nothing stellar. I would not go back unless I find a better place in the area. read more

I have been going to Utopia for massages and facials for years. I have enjoyed each service thoroughly, and the professionals that perform them are amazing. I once's ventured to Hand and Stone for a massage because I was given a gift card and I immediately wished I was at Utopia. I recently started getting pedicures here because of the hours that they are opened. It is more convenient for me to go to the salon after 7pm and usually they are opened until 9pm. The pedicures are nice, but for the price you pay I would expect a little more. There are so many other nail salons in Vineland that offer the same pedicure (sometimes with more attention) for half of the price. I 100% recommend this day spa for massages, body wraps, facials, and microdermabrasion. read more

So I came in to get my kitty waxed, and let me tell you ... it was FANTASTIC. I was very scared because I never got my kitty waxed before , but let me tell you, it was great. I've been coming here for massage for a few years now. I've also been here for manicures and an eyebrow wax before...the manis are fine, the eyebrow wax was great, it was almost painless and I was very happy. Although I remember once when I was getting a manicure downstairs, one of the girls kept running down to reset the fuse box because the blow dryers upstairs kept tripping the breaker LOL!! I mainly come here for massage. I get massages on a regular basis, have been to several places in the area, and Utopia is my favorite. I can normally schedule an appointment with ease, and availability is usually not a problem. The therapists are all very skilled and polite. They are friendly but also allow you to relax and be quiet without a lot of talking. The facilities are better than before, they re-did some of the upstairs "relaxation area" and the massage rooms. My massage table was heated and the height was automatically adjustable. The music was perfectly relaxing, not too loud or distracting. One of the rooms faces East Ave, so traffic noise in that particular room might be distracting. Also the floors creak sometimes as the therapist moves around the room. However, I don't think any of that is an absolute deal-breaker...I would still rather come to Utopia than be harassed about a membership at Hand and Stone! Utopia is a relaxing, convenient, reasonably-priced place to get a great massage! Plus, once you get into their system, they will send you a birthday discount every year, good for products and services! read more

I got a pedicure and eyebrow waxing today. First, the good. Becky did my eyebrow waxing and they came out great, much better than where I was going before. Now the bad. The pedicure was horrible. I explained to the technician that I have very curved toenails and she needed to cut them in the corners or they would hurt. She didn't. She also ignored my callouses and didn't cut my nails short enough. My feet look almost as rough and dry as when I went in. She was a very nice girl, just seemed young and inexperienced. I will never ever back to Utopia in Vineland ever again . My husband spent over $200.00 for a gift card for me for a rejuven spa day was to include a upgrade pedicure manicure Swedish massage and facial. I first called and was excited I could book all appoints in such short notice . Received a call back to advise as she was booking my spa someone else schedule that appt so I thought ok no big deal! I show up at 11:30 to find out while I sat down the girl who was doing my nails and toes was asked if you have any questions just ask by another employee ! I should of stop and reschedule. I thought well every one has to start some were Boy was I wrong I told her many times my nails are gel with gel nail polish as well my toes have gel nail polish. Well let's see it was 1130 when we started and my facial was at 2pm and I was at my facial at 2:16 why because she put a new gel product that is brushes on this is not the same product I had on my nails and no it was not acrylic ! The one nail she was to fix with a tip bent over if u pushes on it she didn't even do a manicure what was setting this boat to shore was when I ask her what was the stuff in toe jam I know what it was I had to ask her to clean it this is part of a pedicure ! No light used on my toes I didn't ask I was rushed because I was late for my facial! The facial was amazing only to get dressed after to look at my toe nails that now are a hot mess the nail polished was not dry and. shape of my nails were horrible. So it's now 330 and I ask to have my toe nails re polished mind u I have a wedding on Friday and it's Tuesday ! I leave the salon get home I live 8 min away to rush home to make dinner I look at my toe nails omg I can't my nails omg I am freaking out I call to speak to a manager and was told to come back see Val at 5 so I run back to see Val who has no clue what is going on ! I am steaming trying to play cool I had enough she kept messing up spilled nails all over used the nail from the floor to put on my finger didn't stick I ask Tara can you please help me she had to finish her client she advised me this is a new product and they are learning?? Looked at my nails and told me they will fix all of it for free! I had a wonderful massage with Jaz - she is exceptional. Highly recommend her! I had a seaweed facial that is supposed to be a 60-minute treatment but was cut 20 minutes early and received no facial massage. That is not normal in a facial and both are unacceptable especially for $89. I will say that my skin did look amazing from this treatment but definitely wanted the massage and the full time that I paid for. I told them when I was checking out that I was cut short on the facial and then followed up with an email to spa about this as it was very disappointing and all of my spa friends said they have never experienced a facial with NO massage and how bad that it's bad business to be cut short, especially by that much time and should let the owner(s) know.
