I like that you can see what's going on in the kitchen. The day I went the Dj was shuffling through songs I believe and it seemed like we were having a good time. However I wish the music was better because it was so extremely loud for the 6 people that were there. My bread was very salty so I couldn't eat it most likely just over salted the bread butter. My assumption is that my review will improve on the next visit!! Again the pasta was really good!

We had to all pile up in one somewhat bigger, right next to the dj booth or spend another $200+ to sit in a section that would actually fit us. We ended up in a very high traffic area where at least 5 people had to stand the entire time. Issue #2: We were moved out of our section almost 20 minutes after we bought our last bottle (by a completely different server) because "another group was coming". There were several groups that had been there longer than us or about the same time as us and none of them were rushed out the way we were. One of the male servers grabbed all of our stuff and said we had to move. He only offered an alternative table after I asked where we would go when we still had drinks, hookah etc. even then he only offered us an outdoor space that only 3 of us could've sat at. Our group spent over $700 and got rushed out as if we weren't paying customers. He kept tapping my shoulder rushing me to move when I was gathering my group since everyone was confused. The experience could have been better for the amount we spent with them. FYI Parking is also $30 if you want to be near the entrance. Very unlikely that we'll return to this location even though we were really excited to check it out after seeing TikTok videos and reviews on the place. We had already spent money so we made sure to enjoy what we could but the service at the end is really what ruined the experience.

Best suited for adults ages late 20s to possibly mid 40s. I went during late brunch hours (after noon) on a summer Sunday and it was not busy. There were plenty of seats inside and outside on the patio. The patio is the best seating bc it is tucked under trees which is really cool to take in while you listen to music, chat and watch the visuals on the multiple tvs playing. Chicken skins as an appetizer. I really loved the idea when I thought I was getting the pork rind version of chicken skins but it turned out to be only some skin pieces and majority thigh meat chunks. Oxtail fried rice I found to be fair. It reminded me a ton of roast, as it was tender and tasted awfully familiar like one. My companion advised that the oxtail could have been better had it came with the traditional gravy because without it that made it lose some of the intended flavor of oxtail. The flight was fair as well. TiYou are allowed to pick your own brand liquor to specialize the drink which I thought was dope. The pricing was typical of club pricing. A personal bottle of Saratoga water was $7 which seemed a bit extreme. Gratuity was automatic. If I went again, I would for sure want to experience it at night and I'd likely only want to do drinks and a hookah. I feel like the outside is better suited for that as it was humid and I couldn't enjoy my good to the fullest extent because of that and flies. Parking is $10 and doesn't matter if you valet or self park.

And when I say they open at 1:00, I mean exactly 1:00--don't expect to get in even a minute early! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with modern décor, great aesthetics, and a vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. Even during the early afternoon, the music was on point, so I can only imagine how lively it gets during evening happy hour and on the weekends. My friend and I grabbed seats at the bar and started with happy hour margaritas, which were a great way to kick off the afternoon. For food, I ordered the wings, which were a little on the small side and fried a bit harder than I prefer, but the flavor was excellent. The real stars of the meal were the lamb chops and jollof rice. The lamb chops were juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, while the jollof rice was hands down the best I've had so far. Although we skipped the hookah this visit, I definitely plan to come back and try it next time. The service was outstanding, our bartender was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. On-site parking is another bonus that's always appreciated. Overall, I'm giving Teranga City 4 out of 5 stars. It has a beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, excellent service, and plenty of potential to become one of my favorite happy hour spots. I'll definitely be back, and hopefully next time it'll earn that fifth star!

The spot is huge with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, so you aren't cramped while trying to catch a vibe. We started with the Yuca Parmesan Truffle Fries--solid crunch and the truffle wasn't aggressive--and the Togarashi Tempura Veggies, which were light and crispy. I went with the 5Church Lamb Burger Sliders for the main; the gorgonzola fondue and red onion marmalade combo was a heavy hitter, though the lemon-dressed arugula kept it grounded. The food was a solid, reliable choice--nothing that'll change your life, but definitely tasty enough to keep you satisfied while the music does its thing. If you want a laid-back, intentional atmosphere without the extra noise, this is the move.

When she brought my fries, she realized that she never brought the fork, and still didn't bring it. I ordered yucca fries, but she brought regular fries. Both were pretty good. The rooftop space is nice, and I liked having the option to hang out outside. One thing that was a little disappointing was the seating situation. There weren't many open seats available because most of the tables were reserved or required a purchase, so it was hard to find a place to settle in. The vibe also felt a little off since there weren't a lot of people there during the event, which made it feel less like a party and more like a regular afternoon at a rooftop bar. On the plus side, I did enjoy the music and the photo booth was a fun touch.
