As I'm at currently at a new salon spending money a second time to fix the fact that he ruined my nails, didn't listen to what I wanted , tried to up sell me for things aren't weren't even necessary. My toes were painted under the counter (rushed as ever) my nails were not trimmed buffed or filed . he didn't take his time or even look me in the eye. After coming to this salon for almost 3 years with my last appointment 3 weeks ago I called to make an appointment today and was told that because I had a few "no shows (2)" mind you I always called in to let them no if I could not make it and rescheduled. No one mentioned 3 weeks ago that they had an issue with me. I was told today that they would" need to consider me a walk in and would not make an appointment with me with my regular technician Alex. I was beyond shocked at this attitude from the salon. I have always been very happy with the service but this type of attitude for my business is inexcusable. I came in as a walk in and was so excited due to pictures I've seen of fabulous nails. I sat with Johnathan and automatically the vibe was awful when I got attitude from him because of a comment I made about 1 nail being way shorter than the rest of the hand. The entire experience was awful and I could tell I was a bother to him. I didn't say anything and I finished my service and left. I let it go. This was 3 days ago. Today is friday and all of my nails have broken off. The money I paid definitely wasn't worth a 3 day manicure. 10/10 do not recommend. read more

Yesterday I had a *THE WORST* EXPERIENCE EVER with Management. I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere however unfortunately the nail tech cut me pretty severely where I was still bleeding 20 minutes later. When I was checking out to pay - I told the girl who seemed like she's never heard a complaint in her life and had absolutely no idea what to do. After I had to suggest maybe I should talk to a manager perhaps ... the manager had the poorest crummiest response with absolutely no sincerity to it at all. Just like "oh well we try our best here kind of excuse..." Ummm..... you cut me!!! And not just a little bit... but BAD. People pay to get a service professionally done that doesn't include getting injured. I would never go back there. I have never been treated so poorly in my life by a salon. I went for my first time and paid $65 for chrome nails, which peeled in 2 days. They did fix the nails, but when I went back 2 weeks later I asked if I should do something else other than chrome. They said it would be fine since they were going to do 2 coats. This experience was awful, as Dan (one of the main techs) was yelling at another customer and refusing to fix her nails. My nails peeled again the day after and I called saying I would do something else besides chrome. When I went in, Dan was incredibly rude and tried to give me silver glittery polish without asking. I asked for another shade since my nails weren't even close to that color. He also talked badly about me to other staff while I was there. thanked him numerous times for fixing the peeling nails and when I went to make an appointment, the receptionist said that they were "fully booked" and would let me know. She never did, and a week later I attempted to make an appointment. She had tons of availability until she found out who I was, then said she didn't have any. This place prevented me from making an appointment because of their own mistakes. Pretty sad and pathetic, since I'm a great customer who faithfully gets her nails done. Dan is an incredibly rude human being and I will never be back. I have witnessed them being rude to at least 3 other clients who asked them to fix what they had paid for. Horrible customer service, attitudes and prices are very high. Skip this place if you want nice nails or a good experience. read more

I've been a loyal customer for years. I had an appointment with Danny and could not make it because I had a family emergency where my ex-husband almost died of COVID! Where due to the circumstances I had to miss my appointments as I had two upset kids scared to lose their father. When I called to reschedule that thing? that they call a receptionist! was extremely rude! told me because I missed the appointment I couldn't have another appointment with Danny again and then hung up on me, no sympathy no care of what is going on and to make matters worse I called Danny he said he will call me back going on a week and never heard from him again!.My daughter and I were extremely loyal customers my little girl refuses to get her nails done with no one and that did not matter this place is horrible and heartless I do not recommend it and me and my family will never go there again. I would give zero stars but unfortunately I had to give them one. What truly hurt me the most about all of this is that Danny always acted like you cared about my daughter and me and for him not to care that my child almost lost her father and deny giving us a reappointment was very upsetting and heartbreaking, just proved that he doesn't care about his customer he's only in it for the money And that is truly disappointing read more

I was a client at another location they were at and I am so happy that I found them when they moved. This location they are at currently has plenty of parking and it's free parking at that! Poorly run nail salon. The place is somewhat dirty and I received one of the worst pedicures I have ever gotten. The technician didn't use the pumice on my heel and now 4 days later my heel is really dry and rough. She also gave a 2 second massage. Good pedicures all come with at least 1 min of a foot massage. The technician also wore the same gloves when she did my nails. I would never go back here and you should definitely find another nail salon because this place is terrible. read more

Honestly don't bother getting your nails done here because they barely even last 4 days. Every time I got my nails done here they always rushed on me, mind you I arrived at all my appointments early. Also another time I asked if they could remove my ingrown toe nail and they said yes. They never let me know it would be $10 extra, I found out when I had to pay. I let it slide that time whatever because I used to be too nice, but if that would happen to me now I would refuse to pay the $10. I'm from Miami and they do nails way better and cheaper and let you know the prices when you ask for things. I expected way more from a nail place that overcharges. read more

My go-to nail salon for the past 2 years. I always get NexGen nails, $35 for a new set, $25 for a fill. It's normally done by Kevin and sometimes his wife Vic. Great people, very friendly and funny. I generally enjoy this place. For one thing, they have really nice pedi massage chairs. The last time i went there, they were about 20 minutes late getting my pedicure started, BUT they put me in the chair for that 20 minutes, so i was pretty damn happy. Also, the have these shiny tinsel stuff that they will tie into your hair for $2 a strand, it's very cute. It makes me feel like a pretty sparkle princess. One thing that was no so amazing was that they talked my mom into spending more for a gel manicure once, and she wasn't all that impressed with it. Supposedly the gel manicure is supposed to last a lot longer, but it didn't blow my mom's mind. Overall though, it's a nice place to get a manicure or pedicure and it has reasonable prices. read more

Horrible place, just a total disaster! Gel manicure have been poorly done. Agree to every word that Aver S. wrote in her review. Each nail peels off because the gel excess is not removed before the nails are placed to dry under the lamp. They don't know what they are doing. The worst manicure I have ever had in my life. The place is dark and dirty. You only see the results when you go outside. They refused to show me their license/permit when I returned a few days later for refund they called police on me. Today I tried utopia nails for the first time, without an appointment during a busy holiday week. I walked in assuming they wouldn't be able to take me, but they accommodated me and I had one of the greatest nail experiences I have ever had. (I get my nails done twice a month, recently decided to change salons). I got nex gen French with Kevin, he was wonderful from start to end. Meticulous with detail, patient, kind, and great conversation. His wife works there also and made sure she came and said hello. Seemed to be many regulars and can't wait to return! This nail salons was one of the best places to get your nails done. Sophie is extremely good with design. However, be careful on asking any questions about your nails. You may think it's innocent but they will ignore your calls when you try to book another appointment. When they finally pick up the phone, the receptionist will be rude to you and tell you to find another nail salon. I even explain to the receptionist I was confused and surprised. I did not even realize there was an issue and I am disappointed with how they dealt with this situation. She explained I have a problem with their quality of nails when I told her over and over again, I didn't. I never even said that and I didn't ask for a discount. I just wanted to know if there was anything I could do in the future to help my nails stay on since I am a teacher and play with my students durning recess. I even told her I thought Sophie was the best nail tech I have had. I have never had any issues like this before so do not think this can't happen to you. read more

I went to this nail salon because it was recommended to me by a friend. I made an appointment a week in advance because I am going out of town. I got my nails done on Sunday, by Jonathan, (hard gel with gel polish). When I left on Sunday i wasn't impressed, it wasn't the best my nails have been done but i've also had worse. I feel like he was rushing to just get them done and didn't really care of the outcome. But I was okay with my nails at this point. until, Monday morning I already had 2 chipped nails and the gel polish was peeling off on another nail. I went to see Jonathan to get them fixed and he fixed it, but the middle finger on my left hand was lifting and i asked him if it would be an issue or if it would break (because i'm having surgery out of town) and he said no they won't break. So here i am on TUESDAY, with yet another broken nail. Very disappointed that my nails didn't last more than three days. I don't recommend. read more

I have been going to Utopia Nails Spa for over a year and a half and I have loved it every single time. Always so helpful and I never left with my nails looking anything less than perfect. But I'm extremely disappointed with this new management, they do not care about the people that have been going there for a long time. I went to get my nails done and the lady did a terrible job. Not only did she do a terrible job but then they made me pay $52 when usually I always pay $45 and they said it's because on some nails I added tip and when I got my polish change on my toes I asked them to cut my toenails. I always do this, exact same service with sometimes adding a tip or two in the nails that broke and whenever my toenails get long I ask them to cut it and I still have only paid $45! Two of my nails were crooked and they were all different lengths (even after I told her to cut it, completely ignore). I'm just really disappointed because I missed the people that I used to work there but I gave the new management the benefit of the doubt. I kept going even after I saw they were nicer to the people that followed them from their previous salon. I stayed committed, strictly going every 3 weeks, but they truly messed up this time. read more
