made an appt at 11am , walked in was seated on pedicure chair and waited 40mins in cold water , when I make an appt I don't expect to be seated right away but 40 mins is ridiculous, also the fact that no one seemed to care made it worse , the lady working on my feet did a good job , at one point another lady came and said she would do my manicure as soon as they finished my pedicure , well when I was done she ended up doing some other guys manicure and I was told to wait for someone else , when they guy finally started on my nails he asked me to pick my dip powder color and the lady came back and said "he will be right back he's just eating" I was so irritated at this point and i told her "I'm only getting gel not dipped" she replies "yeah yeah yeah" ,when the guy came back he seemed confused when I told him I wanted gel , guess she never told him anyway I ended up leaving at 1:15pm , all I got was a pedicure and manicure , won't be returning, people who came in after me left before me. I wouldn't have a problem waiting if they had some customer service , when I paid she seemed bother too, so much attitude. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I have come here in the past but now that they have new owners I love coming here even more! They are super friendly and so attentive. I had my 2 year old with me at this visit and unfortunately it was past his nap time so he wasn't having it. They gave him some candy to keep him seated next to me and one of the girls even wiped his hands and face clean when he was done! I've never been to a nail salon where they make you feel like family. They also care about how you feel about your nails without feeling like they're judging you for asking them to change something. I highly recommend this place! I came to this nail place because it was close to a friend's house. She had been here before and said that they were ok. First thoughts: clean, empty, and nice decor. My friend made it there before me so she could get her full set done before I arrived. When I got there she went to the pedi chair and I took her place at the mani station. My technician was Peter, whom I assume is the owner. I told him what I wanted (full color nail with an accent French tip) he tried to tell me no. I insisted and he conceded. He picked up my friends (I hope it was hers) nail file and started to use it on my nails. I didn't say anything because I figured it was my friends but a red flag went up. He started painting and was missing parts of my nails and I tried to tell him that he needed to cover all of my nail and he ignored me. He continued to bump my nail on the nail drier and did not fix it. When I put my hand under the light it started to burn my cuticle so I removed for a sec and he told me to put it back. When I told I'm it was burning he blamed me for touching the light or having cuts (neither of which are true). I had to tell him to put a 2nd coat on my tip accent because the color was almost invisible and he acted like I was out of line. I will never go back. Final thought: Not very hygienic, unprofessional, or skilled in painting nails. My nails have so many dents and smudges I want to rip them off. Please heed my warnings and do not go here. read more

I came a year ago and I fell in love with the place. I went back two weeks ago expecting the same, but I was so disappointed. First of all, the guy who did my nails kept cutting the shit out of me when he was "cutting my cuticles" with the mechanic filer. Kept saying "ow" as a pain indicator but he kept doing it. What happened to the cuticle removing oil they used to use? And cutting cuticles with an actual remover instead of lazily using the mechanic one? Same thing while buffing my nails, I could literally feel the heat from the machine burning my nail bed and kept twitching because of the pain. I got dip nails on my natural nails, but the top coat has already peeled off--did I mention he filed the entire right hand nails to skew too far left? So now my nails/nail beds look offset to my finger. None of my nails were even until another lady came and had to cut and file everything for him because he was taking waaay to long on my nails. I had such high hopes, but probably should've left the moment he kept cutting my fingers up. read more

Went in to get a manicure and a pedicure and the lady that did my nails was in a rush and filed some of my nails crooked. Also, one of the men that did my pedicure dropped my phone because my phone was on top top of something he needed to grab and now my phone is shattered in the corner and for how they did my nails and pedicure they charged me 64 when they told me it was 36 all together and I asked more than twice to confirm the price and it is overpriced considering how my nails look like. Was expecting better service seeing the reviews on here and will never be coming here again!! read more

My first time here...I got a pedicure with hot stone massage..it luxurious and awesome and felt fabulous. Totally worth it, but the reason for 3 stars was how I was switched to another girl in the middle of my nails getting done. Then she had me wait so she could do a wax, but the worst part of all was that she was so in a hurry to do my nails and did a sloppy job. A couple of nails were crooked and I still had nail and acrylic that needed to be buffed out....all this for almost $90.00...RIP off. I came to this shop on desperate search for a New nail shop! Just moved to the area! So after driving around And wasting so much gas! My daughter googled nail shops in the area! And Utopia nails came up! Pulled up and parked out front on busy Sierra Ave, which by luck there was a parking. Go in tell the young lady I need a fill please! She comes over and looks at my nails and says Ohhh, then asked me where did I get my nails done? I immediately coped an attitude because why? This nail shop is probably the worst I have been to! I got a full set and pedicure 8 days ago, I spent $90 dollars. 7 days later 1 of my nails just pops off and my full set is lifting after only 7 days! I come back to the shop to fix the nail that fell off and I'm told " can you come back we are really busy" and if I want to wait " it'll be a 2 hour wait" to fix 1 nail!! Horrible customer service! Very clean & cute inside! Everything is neat and organized which is very relaxing. The ladies are very welcoming and did a really good job on my mani & pedi! They also give out stamp cards with 10 dollars off on your 10th visit, which will come in handy lol. This place was the first place in Fontana that I felt took pride in providing a great customer experience. The only mistake I made was not making an appointment. The place was extremely clean and organized which made it easier to find your favorite color and design. Unfortunately I cannot remember the lady who did my nails name..but I can say was she was funny, made conversation, and made sure the nail is what you wanted. This place seems to be good for nails, but meh for pedicures. Made an appointment for two pedicures, for my daughter and I. We weren't seated until 20+ mins later. My daughter wasn't attended to until another 20+ minutes. She had to take her feet out the water because her feet were getting wrinkled and the blue stuff in the water was coloring here feet (they had to use a salt scrub to take it off). I was assigned the older lady. She was nice but would never ask for her. My nails we cut crooked, although she seemed to be trying to cut time correctly. I had to point out what needed to be fixed. Then the nail polish... maybe it was the nail polish being some off brand (that's another sign I should have just left) but by the done she was done painting them they looked as if they were melting. My daughter had to apply a two clear coats to make it look smoother when we get home. It's been a little over a week and the paint is already peeling off. I still tipped her well because she looked like she was trying but yeah no don't think I'll be going back. My daughter had Kathy (asked for her name) and she did a great job. read more

I have been coming to this place for almost year. I was new to the area at the time and needed a new nail place. It was great at first. I loved my nails I would get compliments on the amazing colors and designs. These past few times it has been slowing get worse. As far as customer service and the nail service. I went in the last few times and just disliked the way my nails have turned out but kept going back giving them the benefit of the doubt. Went in for pedi and for eyebrows. No wait they started right away while getting toes done they got a lot busier and the place was filled up. I asked to get a design on my toes and the man that was doing my toes ignored me at first and I asked again if I can get a design he then replied saying no we are too busy we don't have time to do that. I then asked again that I wanted that he said no can't you see we are busy. At that point I was upset and let it be. He then asked me if I still wanted to get my eyebrows done. Told him no and left. I have always had bad luck with gel nails, and I have refused to get gel nails for years. The ladies working started to tell me about their gel nail products and convinced me sweetly to give it one more try. Let me just say I'm going on three weeks since they were done and they still look great! No peeling, no discoloring! A few chips here and there at the tips but that's after three weeks of having it done. All the ladies working there were so nice and courteous. The atmosphere was relaxing. Definitely going back! I called to make an appointment and arrived early. When we walked in they asked if they can take a lady before us since she had children and we said yes. We were their to have our nails done for our sister (L) wedding next week. I was first and she was rushing through my nails. She didn't fully paint my nails there was patches missing and nail polish on my skin. Also she kept telling me the price in Spanish which is extremely rude since I was solely speaking to her in English. After mine she quickly went to our last sister (L) which is the bride. My sister (L) told her what color she wanted and the lady told her no that my sister (L) is to dark for that color! My sister (L) was mortified and changed her color. Then the other color she chose they didn't have. At this point my other sister (S) and I stopped her pedicure because the lady did not take her time with mine and was not making her feel comfortable and a bride should have whatever color she wants. Honestly only came here because my friend comes here but I will not be coming back. The man who did my toenails was so rude and aggressive! When I asked him for more color options he said to just choose what they had someone else had the other selections. I told him I had no problem waiting... as he was doing my pedicure he cut me and then harshly filed away until I bled. My toes were cut horribly. I thought my manicure would be better but no. The acrylics were put wrong and when I acknowledged it to him (tuan) he became frustrated that he had to fix it. I understand their work is tiring and time consuming but I'm paying for a service and want to be satisfied not settle for less. Just went to this nail salon this morning and I loved my experience. It was clean nice elegant and had reasonable pricing. They were friendly and quick. It wasn't a busy day or time which I love. I went in for a pedicure and upper lip wax. The lady who did my toes was very nice. The lady who waxed my upper lip did a horrible job, i still had hairs on my upper lip. I'm super upset...my expensive SNS nails feel bumpy because the lady kept pushing on the "maybe" dry nail! Felt rushed and I spent a lot of money. I got the SNS done and the girl said wait 10 minutes why did she start poking at the 10 layers of gel or whatever after 3-5 minutes messing it up and having to redo it which took longer! The only reason I am writing a negative review is because I paid cash and there is nothing I can do but eat it. This is why I took forever to find a new place after my last girl left I'm so disappointed! Yes the customer service is cool except they barely speak English! Their price listing on the wall says that a full set with white tips is $22. I told the lady I wanted a full set with white tips. When I went to pay, they charged me $34. I asked the cashier why it costs $34 if the sign says $22. She said because they used a gel clear coat. I didn't ask for a gel clear coat. No one asked me if I wanted a gel clear coat. It was a scam. Updating my previous review. I still like this place because of the prices and cleanliness but they are not very good with acrylic nails. Looking at the pictures and seeing mine, it doesn't seem like any of their technicians are very good with the shaping of nails and some are bad at polishing. went in to get a full set and pedicure ...first of the lady that did my pedi was unexperienced she didnt know anything it literally took her 2 hours to do my pedi the workers constantly had to tell her what to use cause she was so lost and didnt know what to do she literally didnt know anything about pedicures and they still charged me full price. My nails weren't cut nice the gel polish was to thick ..and to pay full price for someone who doesn't have knowledge about pedicure is ridiculous ....2nd of all the one who did my Full set was constantly on the phone making calls some of my nails came out longer then the others she never even measured them to see if they were the same length she did them to rushed and its not my fault you guys have people waiting but do your job right ..I've had my nails longer and paid $30 and this time they weren't even that long and i paid $35 idk if they include thier tip in there or how they decide on pricing because one day im paying $30 for long nails and the next time im paying $35 for short nails?
