Sam proceeded to verbally threaten my husband and then turn around and call the police and when they found out that I had everything on video and audio Sam backpedaled, and all of a sudden called the police back and told them not to come out. Yelp moderators I will gladly send you any and all video proof that you need. This company destroyed my yard when they hit multiple lines and never fixed anything. However, if you hire them and complain to Sam, he will get in your face threaten you and then stand back and say what what did I say I didn't do anything. Stay far far away from this company. They took on a job in our mobile home community and started around March 2019. Here we are May 2020 and the job is nowhere near completed. We've kept track and they have hit gas, electric, water and Internet lines over 30 times in this community. Imagine being without water in the heat of summer because these guys are too cheap to hire a utility locating service. They lied to us and say the water lines are too hard to find, but that's not true. If they hired a utility locating service and actually hired competent crewmembers this job would've been finished with no lines hit. I wonder how they are affording all these fines that they are amassing from utility service providers for all the lines they keep hitting. The crew constantly changes every several weeks. Most recently today the owner Sam was seen by several residents bodyslamming his dog into the bed of his pick up truck. If you want professionalism and a job done on time stay away. If you want the lowest bid and don't care about quality or professionalism then these are your guys.

I had David V. from DK Concrete and five of his staff come to my house in Orem, Utah yesterday and…read morein one day, they transformed my cracked and broken single wide driveway into a double-wide work of pure mastery. I found the crew extremely skilled and very friendly. I'm beyond pleased with their work, the totally reasonable price and even their clean up. They even did some little extras that i didn't even ask for, like sealing some cracks in another slab of cement I wasn't replacing. In addition, a little stay dog from down the street came running up the street to visit and dived headfirst into a 6" wall of wet concrete that had just exited the cement truck. Dave immediately fished out the little cement caked poodle and carried it down the street to find the owner so he could ensure the little guy got a bath before the concrete dried. I'm even hiring them back to do some foundational concrete work by the end of the month. These guys are great and I highly recommend them. L. Rose

We were hopeful for a good experience with David and his crew but I would NOT recommend them for…read moreresidential projects. Our experience was atrocious. David was out of town when his crew poured and they did a LAZY job and didn't even do what we had asked. We wanted short garden type concrete curbing around our existing landscaping and they poured industrial street curbing. They poured over the existing metal curbing without removing it and didn't even care that they poured directly into our grass. They broke sprinklers, ruined our neighbors park strip and when we insisted they fix it, they cut chunks out of our grass to replace what they ruined on our neighbors. They broke two of our fences and ruined our shovels. They left a pool of concrete on our park strip and it killed our grass. They left exposed metal in our play yard that is a hazard for our children. We asked several times for them to come fix what they ruined (and although they fixed MINIMAL amounts of what we asked, there was no resolution) and there was always an excuse as to why they didn't show up at the agreed upon time. His crew was also supposed did a project for my sister (and did it completely wrong) and they were doing a project for a friend (that they never finished even though it was paid for). We also hired Clint and CHV to put a ceiling up in our downstairs so the rain from the upper deck would not get all our outdoor furniture wet and so we can use the downstairs all year long. They did a fabulous job. He is also going to put a railing in for our rock stairs and is going to pour a concrete slab for us. Clint we are not done with you yet!!! :-) Next year will be our kitchen. Clint will always be our go-to contractor. I highly recommend Clint and CHV Construction for any job you may have. They are versatile in all types of construction needs. They are respectful, kind, detail-oriented, clean up after each day and cost efficient. Clint will actually let you know if he was paid too much as well as if he comes in lower than the free quote he initially provided. He does not try to upsell you, however will give great advice if you ask him. Good luck in your future projects!
