I spoke with store manager Tyler Oman, to make sure it was going to arrive safely. He spend most of the phone call badmouthing Guitar Center Corporate, telling me how over worked and underpaid he is . Such unprofessional behavior. I asked him if it was packaged well? He responded by telling me he packed it personally...... ( mainly due to he has no one else to do it, according to him) So it shows up, destroyed. Just the amp tossed into a flimsy, thin, oversized box, with a handfull or bubble wrap thrown in all will-nilly. No labels on the outside saying "FRAGILE" or something similar. It was about the worst effort someone could make. So lame. So I took it to my local Guitar Center. The Soundhouse is a wonderful organization for aspiring musicians to collaborate with other…read moreartists, gain experience and exposure in the industry and overall just have a lot of fun! They are not a school, but rather a place where your student can put into practice the skills they are learning elsewhere. However, they will still learn a ton from the hands-on experience! My middle school student has been participating in one of the bands for several months and has found the group to be highly supportive and is gaining confidence in his performing ability. As a non-musical person, I enjoy coming to the shows to support the bands. They are all very good and I'm surprised at the talent and skills of such young people.
