Absolute worst, do not go here. They do not care about helping their patients and are outright rude.

Been seeing Dave Gamble for a few years now. Great guy and appointments are easy. Never had any problems with the office staff.

I made an appointment to meet with Dr. Ogden to establish a patient relationship because my primary…read morecare physician retired. That was the biggest mistake ever. Dr. Ogden spent over an hour talking about how I should never get vitamin IVs and should drink Gatorade instead. He went on and on about his wife and told me that I was fat and should weigh 135 pounds. I am 57 years old, 5'2" and weigh 165 pounds. When I tried to tell him that I am very healthy he told me that many people tell him that they only eat a carrot but in reality, they clean out the fridge. It was bizarre. He told me that I needed to do lots of testing which all needed to be done at his clinic. He also took out a heart rate device that he said he purchased on Amazon for $30 and used it to determine that I had a normal heart rate. The next day I looked at the patient portal and was shocked to see his notes. He had diagnosed me with some serious conditions that I do not have. I made another appointment to let him know about the error, but he got offended and told me that if I didn't like it then I am welcome to never return. I did not return but the multiple false diagnosis will forever be on my medical record. I could be wrong but maybe he needed the diagnosis to justify to the insurance all the testing that he wanted me to have in his office. In my opinion, he has no idea about preventive health, and I would never trust him to give me any type of medical care.

Something about his demeanor clearly emphasized he was completely uninterested in my case. I still proceeded with blood work but couldn't shake the feeling he had zero compassion for me. Turns out this provider was retiring, yet, he was still being allowed to accept new patients. He never communicated results and had I been equipped with this knowledge I would have sought fertility preservation- but elsewhere. It's clear this is a business for them and their top priority is cash flow, not women's health.

They are very unprofessional and no communication at all. After my egg retrieval, I had to call multiple times to get hold of my assigned nurse to get my result. No follow up calls. My nurse forgot to tell me about a medication that was prescribed by my doctor, that would have made my cycle more successful. Considering how expensive they are, I expected much from their operating room where eggs are retrieved. It was less than standard. The staff are unprofessional and the doctors lack real knowledge or empathy for their patients. Everything here is overpriced and all they care about is your money. They are in this for the money and not to help couples with their dreams of having babies. From the front end staff, to the nurses, doctors, anesthesiologist, back end staff, they are all unprofessional. I remember the anesthesiologist was so unprofessional, he did not introduce himself and had this angry look and grin on his face on the day of my eggs retrieval. My doctor made all the decisions and did not carry us along the process or ask for our concerns or input. I'm not sure how they are still in business. Please do no waste you money, go else where. Don't believe the good reviews, trust me, go elsewhere, its not worth your money or the headaches.

With my last failure they didn't even call to tell me the news. When I brought it up to them my coordinators response was "call when you want to try again!" it was my last embryo. The front desk is rude. I owed $15 for a urine dip, after paying literally thousands they hounded me for months... I wish they cared about their patients as much as they care about $15. Go anywhere else.

This is not the place to go if you really want to make progress. There is so much emphasis on how…read moremuch money they can extract and no real investment on what really helps. I've done IVF for all of the my kids and our previous clinic was amazing. Stress can seriously impact your success, and they way UFC runs things is basically a round robin. You'll never know who you're seeing for ultrasounds, or procedures, including IUIs. That wouldn't be a big deal, except it seems like no one seems to talk to anyone else and because there is zero continuity you end up feeling like used leftovers no one really wants when you come in. You should never feel like you're bothering them when you're paying full price for their "care". For example, I got two calls on the same day from two separate nurses, one telling me to start a med and one telling me not to. When I asked what the doctor said, I was told, "We don't speak directly with the doctor, we read their notes." Well, duh, but if instructions conflict, you'd think the natural next step would be consult with the ordering physician, don't just guess. Then try to call, good luck getting anyone or getting a call back. If you have a question on meds or what you can do for a severe headache brought on by meds, you'll get nothing. We only tried this clinic because we were new to Utah and after wasting plenty of money we decided not to continue, it took weeks and weeks to get a refund and I had to follow-up with them multiple times to make it happen. Their main office being in Pleasant Grove is also not ideal. There's probably no real impact, but I couldn't help feeling that a very bouncy (construction) and vibration plagued drive home for 40 minutes didn't help the embryo in its efforts to attach. I'm sure it's more the stress of worrying about that kind of thing, or worrying that the very odd nurse who was just munching Cheetos is going to do your transfer and doesn't seem to be part of the A team but the less capable B team. Long story short, UFC is a machine, and there is not beating heart behind it. I prefer to go where there is a genuine interest in success and thought has been given to how to make that happen. Our first Fertility Clinic very smartly had a class which went through your protocol, how to do each injection, and even gave you supplies to practice on an orange. It was nice to feel like I knew what I was doing going into it. You will get NONE of that at this clinic, only a strong arm to the credit card machine to run your card at the end of your appointment. We ended up taking the recommendation from a friend and it was a completely different and wonderful experience. I normally wouldn't even bother to write a review but if you're doing infertility treatment for the first time, you might think this cold and uncaring treatment is just par for the course, it's not, there are much better clinics out there.

Despite downloading this "my chart" which was promised to be better, easier etc., the opposite is true. I have my results from the Imaging and other tests but my doctor doesn't. Both providers say they sent them to us at the same time. I even offered to provide them. The PFM receptionist told me I must make an appointment with a technician to retrieve my records, felt like I was being hustled for a co-pay, she seemed more concerned with the collection of a copay than resolving the problem. I paid them money on time. I showed up for the appointments on time. Patients have to navigate complicated insurance bureaucracy, pay thousands / year in premiums plus co-pay before services rendered, another copay to make an appointment to get records then another copay. I'm frustrated and confused why the patient has the test results but the doctor doesn't and the technician said they will not make an effort to get the results of the tests they ordered. I guess I will have try and interpret the results myself as Premier won't lift a finger-to get the results of the tests they ordered from the provider they sent me to. Good people in a broken system, who cares? Not the PFM reseptionist.

Dr. Durando immediately disagreed with this diagnosed which is fine however he went on to question why I was taking the vitamins and iron and asked if I am also taking a sugar pill and if the provider that prescribed them has stock in the vitamin companies. I am not sure if he was implying that the diagnosis was in my head and being treated as such with sugar pills or if he was implying that my endocrinologist is mistreating me for his own gain in vitamin stocks, either way you can see how his comments were extremely offensive and unnecessary. I am a self pay patient and mentioned to him that I am currently having my PCP treat my symptoms because my endocrinologist was requiring labs every 6 weeks in addition to office visits. It's not that I can't afford the labs and visits, it just got expensive and it does not make sense to continue doing it when I can save money with the PCP. Dr. Durando continued to mention my financial situation as if it were an issue. I asked if it would be helpful to do lab work and he commented yes but its to expensive for you. I am self pay but I have the ability to and do pay my medical bills. I have been self pay for many years and have never had a provider make me feel so incapable of receiving care because of it. I came in looking for help and understanding of my previous diagnosis and I left feeling more confused and unsure than ever. He likely could be correct that the others doctors have misdiagnosed me but I would think that he could have explained this better to me. Instead he degraded me and made me feel as if I am stupid for believing the other doctors. I have never felt so unheard or had such a negative experience with a medical provider. Everyone else in the office was helpful and friendly.
