This place is horrible. We rent a box and have consistently had situations where they do not give us our mail. Not only that, but just found out that the mail we are getting is getting put into another mailbox! The other mailbox owner has been THROWING OUT OUR MAIL! We are out of there asap. I have been calling the Weston, FL branch for 2 days and no one answers the phone. The call is never answered, disconnected, rings busy or goes to a fax machine. Calling the toll free number is just as bad. I have been on hold for 25 minutes. Our tax dollars at work! Great job...NOT! Will it change? No. read more

Overall I like the office however they seem to be understaffed. They are very busy and can be snappy when you arrive close to closing time. Service would be much better if they would add more staff, in my opinion. Calling the toll free number is useless. read more

By far the friendliest and most helpful post office. I dropped off a package among many others and accidentally left the shipping label off. The next morning I went to see if it was still there knowing there was a very slim chance it was. A member of the staff had kindly noticed and set it aside! A huge surprise and relief. I've had nothing but problems getting things delivered from this location. I've called numerous times and have yet to have anyone answer the phone. Spend the extra money and get your packages delivered through UPS or FedEx! Stay far away from USPS! You'll be glad you did! read more

Terrible. I hate this place, I have no idea how this company gets away with CRIME. I ordered a package that cost around $200, granted that isn't that much money but being a college student that is a lot for me. Tracking told me that my package arrived at 1PM but the mailman never comes till at least 5PM. I checked the mail at 2PM and it was empty, at 6 PM I checked again and my mail had arrived but my package didn't. This was a saturday so I called at around 6, it was closed but a guy called 'Lenny' answered and told me to call monday (of course this place is closed on sunday). I called on Monday morning and Lenny told me that it was in my Parcel Locker (a box where packages get left, that the mailman leaves a key to open it with in your mailbox). I never got a key but Lenny told me that the mailman would get the package for me. I decided to camp out in front of my box waiting for my mailmen. When he came he opened up the locker and it wasn't there. I called up Lenny he said he would call me tomorrow since they were closing. When I called the next day Lenny didn't answer, someone else did and told me that Lenny left today for a 2 week vacation.... This made me angry. The guy who answered the phone then said that he had a driver with a broken down vehicle and had to solve that problem and told me to call back tomorrow, he then proceeded to hang up on me. I called the USPS main number and the woman who answered apologized for how I had been treated and told me they should have helped. I decided to drive to the post office and after waiting in a line for 20 minutes, this woman at the front counter told me I had to fill out a form and get back in line for my problem. I decided to throw a tantrum and make a scene, THATS WHAT IT TOOK for the manager to finally come out the back and help me. They said that packages have GPS tracking and they would be able to find it. Unfortunately, the only guy who knew how to do tracking wasn't there so I had to wait for him and he would give me a call tomorrow. I waited all day the next day, until I went ahead and called and he told me they can't find it. Eventually I did get my package but it was through my own searching, these idiots are criminals and the way they treated me is disgusting. I hope one day, I live in a world where technology can take their jobs and we can have our own form of the Nuremberg Trials against these thieves and put them in jail where they belong. Recently had my mom mail a package for me with the correctI I use the Weston post office all the time. The package mailed had the correct sending address written on it. My mom said she made it there just before closing time on a Saturday & the postal worker obesely had his mind on closing up shop & going home so he incorrectly entered the first couple of number to the sending address, being off by one number made the rest of the address appear on his computer as invalid. He told my mom that if the package was sent to that address it would never arrive. He then decided to take it upon himself & just google a random address in the general area to send it to. He then changed the correct address on the package to the random address he had googled. When I found out my package was being sent to the wrong address I was on the phone for over an hour with customer service, filed complaints with the Weston branch, called & even showed up in person a few times relating the issue. The package was eventually intercepted & sent to the correct address. It actually arrived to my friend on the day it was suppose to. I ended up having to pay a $21.00 interception fee & every time I tried to deal with the issue & speak to the manager I made to feel like the issue was all my fault from the start. When I returned in the following days, the same postal worker was there & knew what he had done. He continued to deny any wrong doing to his manage. He used the excuse that my mom said she did not know what the correct address was suppose to be because she was mailing a package for me. I told more then one person at the Weston location that none of that matters you still don't go & decide to change the correct address on the package to the incorrect address. My mom did not need to know the correct sending address for the postal worker to correctly do his job. I have yet to get a refund of the $21.00 extra I had to pay on top of already paying $15.00 to mail the package in the first place. I just wanted the post office to be aware that one of their employees did something he knew he never should have done & I just might be one of the only customers that actually realized it & did something about it. Had I not caught the postal workers mistake my package would have ended up being sent to some stranger do to the carelessness of an employe. I don't understand if he was so worried about closing & going home he could have the time to google a random address in the area & then change the correct address on the package instead of just spending that same amount of time to double/triple check the correct address originally written on the package so the transaction could be done correctly the first time around. Very disappointed in how the whole situation played out.This is the closest location to my house & the one I use most often. The manager even called the DC post office & got a scanned photograph of the package upon arrival. He has official prof of what has occurred & has still chosen to do nothing to resolve the issue. read more

The Worst! I dread going to this place, with the exception of one employee (he is older man with gray hair and works the last counter closest to the entrance) the rest are incompetent and/or rude and sarcastic, but then again what do they care, they know they can do and say whatever they want and they will not be fired. I have spent countless hours waiting on long lines to pick up packages and dealing with employees who obviously do not care. Whenever possible, even if it means spending an extra $1 or $2 I go to Fed-Ex which is only on block away. read more

Horrible, horrible experience. I try to call the post office to keep getting a busy signal. I then go into the post office early Saturday morning hoping to beat the crowd. Come to find out, a crowd of people wasn't the problem, it was the employee!!! I had a package that was out for delivery but was taken back due to my husband putting in a change of address. I didn't receive anything from the post office, only from the shipper did I find out the packaged was undeliverable. I tracked the # and was told to contact my post office. I gave the tracking # to the employee and she rolled her eyes and asked "what is this?". I told her this is the tracking # I have since I hadn't received anything from the post office. She said wrong tracking #, I need to locate the correct # and come back. Well, I told her this is all I have, can't they look and see if they had anything for me with my Weston address. She didn't want to help me. I left then came back with a tracking # that I thought was good. Nope, wrong again, she asked me questions while I was in line and she was helping another customer. She then left for several minutes to come back with nothing and no information for me. I again tried to call the post office and they had me on hold for over 1/2 hour. What has happened at this Post Office. It's like they don't want to be there. I know plenty of people that would want their job and they would be doing it with a smile on their face every day. They need to check their attitudes and be happy to have a job and benefits!!! I dislike this place and the employees there... read more
