They quoted me $92, not because it was heavy but because of the size of the box. Needless to say I opted to try something else. I called The Mailbox store and spoke to a guy who explained that the charge is based not only the weight but the size of the box. He said they have multiple boxes for sale and if I came in, we could try and find a cheaper solution. I stopped in on the way home and after a couple of different "fittings" we found the smallest box that would fit the coat. Total cost including the box $47. This store is under new ownership and I highly recommend them for any shipping needs plus whatever other services they provide.

This U.S. Post Office is one of THE WORST you will find. The Postmaster here is replaced more…read moreoften than a Kardashian posts a selfie. Nobody wants to work here, and that was an explanation by one of the former Postmasters for why things are so messed up. 18 - EIGHTEEN TIMES now this post office has delivered packages addressed to me elsewhere! Sometimes I finally receive the package, sometimes I don't. Often times the package has been opened and resealed. Other times it's been opened and left at my door unsealed. There's ZERO accountability. They blame it on the Sender addressing the package incorrectly. They blame it on the Sender's post office "hitting a wrong key" when processing it on their end for shipping. They blame it on their computer system. They blame it on the rain. I've asked REPEATEDLY if ANYONE actually looks at the name and address on the packages? And I'm usually told "We don't do that. We just scan the code and that tells us where it's going." Some packages have come as far away as the UK, Japan and Australia. They make it all that way to my post office and then they're sent to the wrong address?!!!! ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC!!! I PRAY THAT AMAZON PUTS YOU ALL OUT OF BUSINESS, AND I'M PRETTY SURE THEY WILL!
