I see USPS ad every time Federal government shut down that USPS is an independent entity that does not depend on Tax income and that is why it can work as normal schedule during the shut down. So, I have one question. Does USPS own Public debts like local government agencies? If so, I would like to suggest USPS to show it clearly on the website to avoid the confusion. Local government agencies that run public buses for pupils have certain amount of Federal debts as they transport kids to school. If the public roads are not properly maintained by tax income and debts, kids cannot go to school. I am not sure what it means when USPS says it runs INDEPENDENTLY, because I see USPS delivery cars a lot more than AMAZON delivery nowadays ON THE ROAD. read more
