Apparently the sorting facility for Tulsa, OK thought that my package needed a detour and decided to send it to NY. Not sure what other reason there could be since the destination is CA. Just left this location spoke to the supervisor his name is Mike he is very rude did not want to help me at all he also told me he would contact another facility then laughed and said he changed his mind. I have been waiting on my package for a month and he said it is lost doesn't know where it is and didn't offer to help said they lose thousands of packages and mail a day then added the manager makes three hundred thousand a year and doesn't care when packages are lost. I will never send anything through USPS and I highly recommend no one else to read more

My mail gets dispatched from Eastside post office. For five years (as long as I've lived here) my mail delivery has been sub-par. I consistently get my neighbors mail and once it a while my neighbors bring me my mail. There is a difference between St. and Ave., Tulsa is full of them, figure it out! Mail lady thinks sticking a magazine half in and half out of the slot in my front loading mailbox on a rainy day is a good idea. All mail that day ruined. Mail lady chewed me out for parking in front of my own house because I blocked the mailbox. This caused her to have to get her overweight ass out of her jeep. I remember the days when mail-persons actually walked (and liked it). Lazy bitch, I'll park where I want at my house. I was to receive a package from Coffeville, KS (about 2 hours away). It gets routed to Tulsa (where I live), then for some reason put on a truck to Dallas, TX before finally getting shipped back to Tulsa and promptly lost at Eastside. Telephone run-around and physical visit doesn't help. Amazon (being cool n' all) is shipping a replacement (going to use Fed-ex). *** Rant on If the government plans on running our health care, I hope they do it a hell of a lot better than the way they run the postal service. If they stop Saturday service (like they are debating) I will have no desire to do business with them. Not only are the carriers unable to figure out addresses but at my apartment if there is no apt number they shove the envelope in the door gap on the back. The facility it's self it old and run down. To top it all of the staffing could not be any more unfriendly. read more

The USPS at this location is completely derelect in their service. The service can not be relied upon to deliver parcels or mail locally! I can not count the number of times mail sent from this location that has NEVER reached it's destination or when it did arrive, it was months later!! Some parcels addressed to me, arrived ripped open & contents missing. I mailed a relative a Christmas card that is local, two weeks prior to Christmas that she still has not received. I mailed the same relative a birthday card one week prior to the Jan.8th date, that she has still not received. I drove to the Eastside facility, went inside to hand deliver the card to the attendant thinking it might improve the odds of reliable delivery. Frequently receiving my neighbors mail makes me wonder if mail intended for me is being delivered elsewhere. By the way, your snarky commentary all the while I am typing has been a real pleasure & incentive to totally avoid your place of business when possible. Have a great day! We built a home on E 41 St and had the supervisor of the station come out to assist in placing the mailbox properly away from the busy street. We built the driveway so that the postman could do a wide swing and pull up beside the mailbox. Instead of staying on the driveway, the postman, drives onto our beautifully maintained lawn creating his own backup space, intently damaging our sod. We have complained about this before and he claims that he is not suppose to back up his truck, but he does back up after he screws up our lawn. There is no reason for this disrespect of others property. We fertilize, mow and keep this street side clean of debris and trash all for this guy to mess it up. He deliberately pulls up all the way between our mailbox and stone call box and has created his own driveway. I wouldn't even give this place one star if I had an option. I had time sensitive meds delivered, and when I placed the order there was nowhere that showed I needed to be home for the package to sign for it. The delivery person rang the doorbell, and I have Ring, so I could video chat with her. I asked her to leave my package at the door, and she said she couldn't because I needed to sign. Fair enough-rules are rules. After I returned and grabbed the slip on my door, there was ZERO information about my medications or what post office they were being sent to. On top of that, my meds were supposed to be refrigerated and they weren't. After tracking my medications down, I finally found the correct post office. I tried calling for an hour and no one would ever pick up the phone. After about the 9th time I finally got through, and the rudest woman I've ever encountered answered the phone. Her name was Davis, and she was so unhelpful. She was rude and said "She didn't know what to tell me" and she had no idea how I could get my medications. I asked her if she could give me a timeframe of when the package would arrive back at the facility and she said 7:00, but they closed at 6:00 so I would have to wait until Monday. I continued to ask her questions and she hung up on me. Finally, I drove to the post office and the woman wouldn't even speak to me, instead I spoke to her manager, and he was super helpful and polite. I wish I would have been dealing with him in the first place! You're only as good as your worst employee, and she was a mean, mean lady! read more

I was told to get a doctor's note to get them to have them deliver mail to my door since I am in a wheelchair and is hard to get to the apartments mail boxes.. They have stopped delivering my mail and said they will not do anything until I get the note. So, after months of no mail, which I have important documents i am supposed to be getting for my health and they do not care. We finally got the note and brought it in today and the man named Andy was a complete and total asshat!!! He told my wife it wont get approved so you are wasting your and my time! She replied that one of the higher ups told us to do this and it should be fine. The guy laughed at her and told her well people above him have to approve it and they never do! He took the note and just tossed it behind him on the floor and just smurked. This post office is ridiculous!!! They all have bad attitude and terrible customer service ability!!! They are all rude and try everything to keep me from getting my mail like it is a damn game to them! This place needs to be fracking gutted and a whole brand new staff needs to brought in!!! Unless you HAVE to do business at the Post Office, visit Mail Hog about a block away in the shopping center at the SE corner of 31st and 129th. They are a full service mailing center and actually ACT like they want your business. read more

Other than this one older lady in there (blond/grey) who has a poor attitude and seems to be lost, this is a nice friendly place. Other workers know their stuff. I use the services at least once or twice a week. It can get a bit crowded sometimes. I would suggest gaining there during its slow times to avoid the lines. read more

I get my mail from them also. I have the same rants as you, with a few added. Neighborhood kids hit my mailbox and broke the back off, mailman pulls up opens door slides mail in,I'm watching him as he's watching mail fall out back of mailbox onto sidewalk and he drives off leaving it on the ground. The mailman also finds it to hard to close the door of my new mailbox. The people at the Eastside station are so- s-l-o-w. They act like they are doing us a favor by serving us. Get real people you are being paid to do a job. And let's not even get on last week with the storm and no delivery. I lived in N.Y. for over 39 yrs. and the worst winter back in 77 they were able to deliver mail. What ever happen to: "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds" Oh yea that was referring to the courier service of the ancient Persian Empire. This post office has a dismal ability to deliver mail or packages. My mail either goes missing, as do packages, gets mis-delivered, or I get neighbors mail, and packages disappear into thin air. Responsiveness of the personnel at this post office also stinks. They have an "I don't care attitude" and you can't call the local number as it's BUSY ALL THE TIME!!! The counter people are no help either as they make remarks about the carriers and don't do a damn thing to help. I have contact the post office main numbers (cant get through to a human being there either) and emailed more than a dozen complaints with no resolutions. This place stinks in attitude, willingness to help and no assistance whatever and did I mention, their phone line is always busy??? read more

I have lived at my same address for 33 years and have almost always had really great service. There were a few times they got my number mixed up with the same number 2 streets over, also 'Place" but other than that it's been wonderful. Often the driver would walk up to my porch and leave it on the bench by the door. I'm 77 and in icy weather I really appreciated his extra effort. read more

This is the worst post office I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. In the two years I have lived in the service area for this post office I have NEVER gotten a package correctly. Some lost completely and I have to re-order, some just left on the top of apt complex mail boxes even though it requires a signature. I went there to apply for a passport because it was close to where I work. I will never go there again! They were extremely slow and the postal workers were very rude. One of them got into an altercation with a customer and basically insulted her intelligence while I was standing there. I got behind two groups of people who didn't even speak English. She was finishing up with the first group when I got there but it still took 20-30 minutes. While we were all waiting on that, the family in front of me found out that they needed the dad there to apply for his own passport (really?? DUH!) so they called him up. Instead of graciously telling me, a single person by myself in line, that I could go in front of them while they waited for the dad to get there, they stayed in front of me. About 10 minutes into their application process the dad shows up so then the postal clerk had to get all of his paperwork ready. Twenty minutes later they found out they didn't have the right paperwork to get the passport so the parents ran home to get it and left their teenage kids there! About 10 minutes later, I was about to freak out on her. She was slowly, and I mean SLOWLY cutting and pasting their passport photos onto their applications and making casual conversation with the kids. I seriously thought she wasn't going to wait on me until the parents got back! After I had been waiting for over an hour, she finally asked them to step aside and waited on me. It took 5 minutes, tops, to do my paperwork. I'm so glad that our government workers cater to immigrants who don't even have their paperwork together. I'm also glad that they feel they have all the time in the world no matter how many people are waiting in line. We appreciate it! read more
