However, the envelope was EMPTY with the exception of the packing slip stating the name of the magazine that was SUPPOSED to be in the envelope. We have the worst mail delivery experiences in our neighborhood. The day before, someone else's package was placed in our mailbox. Mistakes are expected, but not over and over again. We are totally fed up.

This post office happens to be in the same lot as Treasure Marts, one of the thrift stores we wanted to shop at while in the area, so this worked out perfectly. The staff here were very friendly, service was fast, and we were in and out in no time at all. Pricing is was fair, shipping from here to Melbourne, FL, was about $10 for a 2 lb. Box. All-n-all, everything was great and I recommend stopping here if you need mail services while you're in the area.

The customer ended up with well over $500 of free items and we were out over $1,000 with chargeback fees: the female supervisor and red head male desk clerk are some of the nastiest people I have ever come in contact with and have threatened both me and my fiancé multiple times for talking about this.

Sometimes the lines move slowly, but unless they re short-staffed, that usually has to do with the volume and speed of the customers rather than the employees. There is parking out front, both sides for Clifford Ave., a few spaces along busy Grove St., and a parking lot on the inner side of the building. There is a mail drop-off slot in that parking lot also. The lobby is open 24/7 but the counter is 9:30-5:00 weekdays and 9:30-Noon Saturday. If you print a pre-paid label at home, you can just leave it on the right-hand side of the counter if it is busy. Shipping supplies and Priority boxes are available before you approach the counter. I would give this location five stars except it would be more convenient if they opened a bit earlier than 9:30 and closed later Han noon on Saturday l plus a self-service shipping kiosk or t least a stamp vending machine for after hours would be

Leesburg Fl Post office delivery person doesn't want to help with package delivery. She left a…read moreform for me to sign for a package. I went up the following day to ask about the package and she said in an angry tone that it was at the post office. When I asked if she could leave it in a locker she said no, the package was too big. When I asked her what size the lockers were so that I could ask the business I ordered the order from to put items in smaller boxes in the future she couldn't tell me. When I asked her when she would be at the mail box area sorting mail again so I could get the package from her she couldn't give me a time. When I asked her if she could bring it to my door (I'm in gated community) she said it was too far for her to go (less than a mile), even though there trucks go by our area all the time. When I went up the following day in hopes to find her sorting mail she had left a nasty note telling me that I missed our appointment (we didn't have an "appointment", she couldn't tell me when she would be there again) and if I want the package to go to the post office to get it. I take care of someone and am homebound. I can't get to the post office. I've reached out to the post office and they said they would get the package to me. So far nothing. I don't know if they said that to get me off the phone or if they plan on helping. It shouldn't be so difficult the the post office to deliver mail.

The people who work at this post office are generally lovely. The Oakland Post Master is a cantankerous, angry man, who if you ask a question of him, raises his voice at you and starts to "preach" at you, depending on what question you asked. He apparently has been at the Oakland Post Office for quite a while and feels like he has the right to dictate local politics and to express his opinion on any topic. If I see him at the window, I say nothing, get my business done, and try to leave before he can go off on me. Don't get me wrong, everybody else that works there is 100% lovely. He is not frequently at the window, thank goodness. Otherwise it is a quaint, customer oriented, and kind place to be. I recommend it if he is not there.

That always bugged me since this is tax supported service and one that is being forced upon me. They are closed a lot more then they seem open. The lady working now is better and if it keep up, I'll write a new review with 4 stars. 5 stars for the cuteness effect.. small little Post Office situated in a gorgeous town with many large live oak trees and dirt roads. I love walking up to the post office with my girls to get the mail. I hate having to worry about if my mailbox is overstuffed because I forgot to pick it up and the hassle with having to know what carrier is shipping my online orders. USPS doesn't like and won't accept packages from FED EX or UPS. Pros - this post office is never super busy at holiday time so I can ship without the massive lines and headaches.
