Leesburg Fl Post office delivery person doesn't want to help with package delivery. She left a form for me to sign for a package. I went up the following day to ask about the package and she said in an angry tone that it was at the post office. When I asked if she could leave it in a locker she said no, the package was too big. When I asked her what size the lockers were so that I could ask the business I ordered the order from to put items in smaller boxes in the future she couldn't tell me. When I asked her when she would be at the mail box area sorting mail again so I could get the package from her she couldn't give me a time. When I asked her if she could bring it to my door (I'm in gated community) she said it was too far for her to go (less than a mile), even though there trucks go by our area all the time. When I went up the following day in hopes to find her sorting mail she had left a nasty note telling me that I missed our appointment (we didn't have an "appointment", she couldn't tell me when she would be there again) and if I want the package to go to the post office to get it. I take care of someone and am homebound. I can't get to the post office. I've reached out to the post office and they said they would get the package to me. So far nothing. I don't know if they said that to get me off the phone or if they plan on helping. It shouldn't be so difficult the the post office to deliver mail. read more

Don't be in a hurry. They are the slowest post office I have ever been to. They do not care about customers or service.

Apparently whoever works here has decided that answering the phone is not part of their job description. I have called repeatedly regarding a missing package that was last scanned here, but the phone just rings for several minutes and then disconnects. read more

Called 5 times, no one answered. So after driving 4 hours home from vacation, I had to waste gas to drive there just to find out what I needed to receive service. By the time I found out what I needed, it was too late to go home and come back and I don't have a day off for another 5 days. I will not be able to retrieve mail until then. read more

I cannot count the times this PO has not delivered parcels to me because they DO NOT FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. Regardless of how many times I have spoken to someone. I live in a mobile home community, the OFFICE is rarely open, there is NO PLACE FOR RESIDENTS TO RECEIVE PARCELS EXCEPT AT THE RESIDENCE. NONE OF THE LOTS ARE MARKED THE MOBILE HOMES HAVE NUMBERS ON THEM BUT ARE NOT IN ANY ORDER. SO, I provided a gate code and simple directions to my home. I ordered a brand new Mac computer, they left it outside the gate, next to the MANAGEMENT COMPANY'S MAILBOX, accessed by the main highway. Thank goodness I found it out there before someone else. The worst was when they failed to deliver important medication that led to more than a week of painful agony. Still waiting for a medical nutritional workbook, mailed 5 times so far and "unable to access property". What good is "additional delivery instructions" provided when absolutely not a single driver reviews them? If I could provide a NEGATIVE #of stars I would. This office is managed extremely poorly and the current Postmaster General of this location should be reprimanded or replaced. read more

I've had a box with them since 1992. They have a nice facility there, and they are located in a good location. But they lose my packages. The US Postal service has a great service (if it worked) called street addressing. But they lose my packages 50% of the time. Then the package will finally show up in the box, days or even over a week later. Once the manager wanted to charge me extra after he found my package, because he did not know anything about street addressing. I have wasted so many hours because of their incompetency. I moved here from Palm Beach and I received mail regularly all of a sudden it just stopped even when I had the mail redelivered the mail 'lady' I spoke with telling her that and she said she didn't care and returned the mail. I've never in my life met someone so unprofessional. read more

Friendly postal workers exist here, and they're a great help. Bring patience, lines run through pretty fast. Occasionally someone will have an obvious quietly that holds up the line- best way to avoid this is to be friendly and answer their questions before they hold things up. There's also a nifty little machine in the lobby that can get most things mailed out in a jiffy. read more

Postal workers are very rude. The postal worker called my husband stupid because he ordered something and he put down the wrong zip code for delivery. They are so mean, pitiful and unorganized . The lines are always long, they are always rude and forget about asking them a question, they never answer the phone!!!!!!!!!! read more

I don't know if we have a new mail person or not, but I am so disgusted with who ever it is. Yesterday we were home all day waiting for a certified letter to come from our attorney. My husband is on medical leave from his job and we needed what was in that certified letter. No one came to the door with the letter and later about 5:00 pm we find a card on the patio door that says they will reschedule for today Nov. 21, 2017. Our other mail carrier always came to the front door. We never heard anyone knock and further more if they had knocked on the door (strange as it seems) our cats would have come running in from the patio! Now we have to wait another day for the letter and my husband can't get his medication or mine for my heart. You need to get people to do the job right. Also for 2 1/2 weeks we never got our mail until 7:30 or 8:00 at night. Plus that person speeded through the neighborhood. You need to do something we are elderly people and can't be out after dark getting the mail it is dangerous with cars driving through. The postal service seems to be getting worse and worse all the time. If it was Christmas season I could understand mail being late but not the first of Nov. I hope this matter gets resolved today and THE CERTIFIED LETTER IS DELIVERED TO THE FRONT DOOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just moved here. Very excited about the town. Until I visited the post office. Was moving so I was exhausted and lucky to find the time to get by there. My envelope wouldn't close right because the glue was old I guess. They refused to let me use 3" of tape to close it good. So I asked for a manager, who never once smiled and confirmed that they could not let me use 3" of tape to seal the envelope. I happened to remember that I just bought moving packing tape so I ran out to my car for it and they also could not let me use their scissors to cut it. The manager finally cut it with her teeth. Again, never smiling or empathizing whatsoever. I'm glad this was not my first encounter with the town. They only had one other customer so it was not just a bad day. I would have moved elsewhere on such a horrible first impression. read more
