This is a smaller station located east of I-95 on Palmetto Park Road in a shopping center with a Publix, a Hallmark store, and a You Fit. There's a nice size parking lot right in front. The employees are friendly and if there's a line, they move through it quickly. I find myself using this post office more often since the one on Boca Rio is always so crowded and it takes forever to get to the self-serve kiosk. All of my packages are pre-labeled so I just need to scan them at the kiosk. This makes life much easier. I find that I can breeze into this station, scan my packages and be out within a few minutes. This is a retail substation located in Palmetto Square Shopping Center, which is about 1/8 mile east of the I-95 exit of Palmetto Park Road (PPR), north side of row. There is no signage on PPR, so don't look for any. There are 3 postal clerk Windows, an automated postal station. about 200 post office boxes (mail delivered by 11 when there is enough staff to sort it) and an area where you can buy mailing supplies and greeting cards. I have my post office box at this location so I'm there several times a week. I avoid use of clerk Windows if I can, simply cause it takes time and I'm inpatient, although the queue does move quickly - as long as you don't get stuck behind patrons with 40 items to weight and mail or some FAU student half asleep in their pj's who is trying to find out an address on their iPhone and is just oblivious to everything. And yeah, what's up with wearing pjs in the street, like really, that's cool? The window clerks are fine. Joshua is very fine, indeed. Some are very friendly, know me by name. They all ask the same robotic-like questions like is there anything perishable or explosive or fragile in what you are mailing. There is sometimes a manager by the queue (to the clerks) who is attempting to expedite the line by directing people to the automated postal unit, or asking if they need help filling out forms. While that can be beneficial, I see it as a waste of managerial resources. Managers should oversee human resources and identify/resolve problems and not stand around asking people if they want to use automated machine. Oh, you can buy special issue stamps which I still like and use cause I mail cards and actually write LETTERS to people, while most Yelpers reading this likely think a text message or Messenger or FaceBook post is how you wish someone happy birthday or express sadness over the death of their husband or dog. Buy a damn card. Write something. Mail it. And put postage on it. read more

Every time I come to my Neighborhood post office the cashiers are so rude no matter what I'm doing. They are very unfriendly and unhelpful today she refused to mail my box because she said it was dangerous because I didn't have it filled with stuffing and happen to have it open so she looked in and refused it ugh Very sad I need to drive further away to get good customer service... try another location if you want nice people this is the 5th time I have had a grumpy person there read more

Best staff and post office in Florida. I've been going here for 6 years. I drop off my girlfriends packages here every week sometimes a couple times a week. They helped me find the right box for a painting I had to ship and gave great advice on packing it and the best deal. I'm bad with names the but weekday staff I always see have the sweetest ladies working this office. They are always so friendly and willing to help or be of assistance. The weekend staff is amazing as well. Very attentive, friendly and fast workers. Whenever it is busy they move the line very fast. You can pack stuff here they sell boxes and you can drop off packages. I wish I knew his name but he had a cool Statue of Liberty tattoo and he's taller gentleman. He was able to give me an accurate estimate for a special shipment and was of great assistance. The whole staff can get a raise! It's always clean here as well id like that to add that and it's in a nice plaza. read more

I love this post office branch. It's big, clean, is well stocked with materials and the clerks are very friendly. Also, there's hardly ever a line! Any time I've come by I've waited no more than a minute or two for service. Compared with my usual branches In Delray or Boca, this place is a dream. Best Post Office I've been to for one simple reason: NO LINE. What makes a Post Office bad? It's the line. You stand in the line for 20 minutes for a 2 minute transaction. Not here. I hope it's like this all the time, because if it is, I found the gold mine. The staff seemed nice too which is also a rarity as well. Maybe because this location is somewhat tucked away in a plaza, but regardless, I truly was in and out in almost no time at all. It was the greatest experience ever at a post office that I can think of. Watch, the next time I go there will be 100 people in line, but I'll definitely be back here if I need to. read more

I ordered a package and everything was fine until it got to this location. The package was received here at 9:10am and it just sat in the warehouse all day and didn't do anything. So I went to pick it up because I got off from work and they didn't let me pick it up. USPS is an embarrassment and they are one of the worst organizations ever conceived. Whoever the mailman/mail woman is...they're terrible and should be fire immediately as they hat incapable of doing their job correctly. They, for some new and unknown reason, have been sending back all my packages to the sender. Some packages come from overseas and take a month to get here. Now it will take another two months for it to get returned and then sent back to me. This has occurred on 4 different deliveries. It is wasting my time, the sender's time and everyone involved at USPS' time as they have to handle the same package multiple times. This place has much improved since the bad reviews. The employees who were a bit dismissive & oblivious of the continually increasing line while they complained in the backroom have since become more attentive. Their attitudes have improved, as has the way they positively address customers. Nothing else to add, but this is such an improvement, I felt it worth mentioning. Whether it's due to supervisors reading reviews or a coincidence, it doesn't matter. The point is this is now a comfortable place to visit, with attentive customer service agents. Just left this location the gentleman there tried to tell me my prepaid package wasn't for the United States Postal Service it was for UPS I had to argue with him to explain it was for both he finally then agreed and then wouldn't give me any tape for my box after he went through my entire box because he was nosy to see what was in it absolutely no help and by the way I was the only one in there thanks for the poor customer service! I want to thank Gary and Crystal from the USPS Palmetto Park Road branch for their patience and assistance last week. My husband and I needed to ship a large, awkwardly shaped, heavy packet. They were both super-helpful throughout the process which involved wrestling the parcel onto their digital counter scale to weigh it and then having to measure it; a difficult task, especially with all the physical COVID barriers in place. The staff at this location are so incompetent that they managed to send my package back to me after I clarified it was supposed to be sent to CONNECTICUT. I confirmed the address in CT, and yet it arrived at my house today. Shavon was so careless that she couldn't even be bothered to correct her mistake after I caught it and explained that the address she was having me verify, was my own. So now, I spent $15 for her careless mistake. Should have gone to FedEx, where their staff actually knows what TO and FROM means on a package. read more

Hands down the worst postal operation I have ever encountered. My entire building hasn't received mail in over a week, and nothing is being done about it. I frequently get other people's mail, even after putting my name on my box. My locking mailbox gets left open, I change the lock, it's still left open. I have made so many claims that have not been resolved now I have to go through the Dept of Consumer Affairs who oversee the Post Office. I even made a complaint in person, only to leave a message for some manager who of course never called me back. I wish I could give it no stars. Absolutely dreadful. read more

Extremely rude employee Rosa, her job is simply to assist customers with their shipping and postal needs (customer service essentially). When I asked about options to ship my package she answered me with a less than pleasant demeanor and extremely passive aggressive comments. When the transaction was completed she basically refused to further assist and snubbed her nose when I proceeded to ask questions regarding other packages I had pending. "See the kiosk, step aside..." when I refused another kind employee offered to help me. Rosa, it's not your customers or your co-workers fault you hate your job, I recommend taking a customer service course and learning some communication skills as well as patience for your paying customers. After all, without these customers, you wouldn't even have a job. The "kiosk" would be sufficient correct?! That kiosk will one day take the place and save USPS and taxpayers your salary!
