What a great experience considering that this place is a government organization! Friendly staff, friendly people. They followed covid protocols extremely well! The security guy was super warm, but firm. He let me use the restroom while I was waiting for my husband's appointment . We went there to do biometrics for the UK. Appointment took 1 month to get and when we arrived, everything took about 15 mins. Sent our application same day via UPS and got our UK visas back within 5 days! We did not opt for any premium visa service. Just the standard one. Note: this place does not handle UK visas, only the biometrics. read more

I went to this office and the lady clerical who took my photos made me uncomfortable she was asking me unnessery questions she made me feel intimidated, not very pleasant at all, plus her lack of inglés was very poor it was very hard to understand her and she gotten frustrating, her job I think is only to take photos and the fingerprints and make corrections, not to pretend to be an inmigration officer and making feel clients uncomfortable read more

Updating my review here: staff took photos incorrectly and we had to run to CVS after the USCIS interview to get it retaken. Came for my biometrics for a student visa to the UK. I was expecting a trudge through the bureaucracy of an office that handles paperwork all day. What I found was an efficient office full of friendly and helpful people. I put an hour on the parking meter, expecting that I'd have to go back out and move my car. An hour wouldn't be enough, right? I checked in at the reception desk, and she told me I'd be next. First shock. I waited and was called up. The woman taking my biometrics was actually nice; more than nice, she was friendly and asked me about why I was traveling, complemented my earrings, and laughed with me. Second shock. This USCIS Application Support Center, including Officer Lewis, did a phenomenal job with my application interview. He was informed, yet courteous and friendly. I felt like he really understood my situation and was sufficiently thorough in reviewing my submitted application file and asking the questions he needed to ask. This made for a good impression (hopefully for both sides!). In my view, USCIS officers play a type of unofficial ambassador role since they have the unique opportunity to give a strong (highly positive, in my case) impression to those they interview. For me, I felt like I was having a nice conversation, rather than a formal interview. Husband's fingerprints appointment was at 3 pm. We arrived at 2:30 pm -sooner than expected. Regardless, we decided to go inside & wait while 3 pm hit. The minute we stepped foot, he was given paperwork and was out of the building in 10 minutes - literally. Appointment scheduled for 3 pm , we were finished by 2:40 pm Fantastic, speedy service. Alright, first things first. I've been here three times and let me start off with: your appointment time doesn't matter. You're gonna get a number and be stuck there until they call you . There's this security guy who's pretty rude. I got up during one of my visits because I wanted to stretch and he was like "ma'am what are you doing ? Sit down." I literally was expecting a "Downtown LA DMV experience" with super long lines and a whole day wait BUT it was far from what I Expected. 1. Park at the parking meter otherwise you pay $10 at the parking lot for nothing 2. Enter and the security will help you with your phone and giving you the first number and a form to fill out. He will also ask you for the notice of action form I 797C. 3. fill out the form and return it to the security man who would give you the second number. 4. wait to get called 5. get your picture, finger prints (of each finger) and signature 6. you are done and they give you a yellow form to fill out I was in and out within 15 mins. I overpaid for a parking but I got all the things done and I am super happy with the service! read more

If I can give zero star I would. I had my appointment today and the manager asked for more requirements from me it's not even on the appointment letter. And he won't accept photocopy he wanted original. I have to idea what he was trying to proved. But the person who work in the reception and the guard told me to go to a different Center coz they don't know what he was doing. So I went to La Brea Center. So all the employees who process the paperwork are great. BUT there's a Jamaican guy working in the front who thinks he's God, like TSA at airports type of attitude. I just hope you are treated the same way you talk to people wherever you go. Hahaha! Everything's on Yelp! I never thought I'd be writing a 5 star review for an Immigration office but here I am. Ditto on what the first two reviewers have said. They are genuinely nice and friendly here. They greet you with a smile and make friendly conversation with you. The process was incredibly fast! I was there for fingerprints for my naturalization application. I barely had time to go to the restroom when the lady taking the fingerprints was already waiting for me. I swear I was outta there within 15 minutes. Maybe it was that quick because my appointment was at 2pm and I guess most people are scheduled for the morning. The office is fairly large and very clean and bright, it doesn't feel depressing like other government offices I've visited. I was very impressed. I just hope my experience is this great when I have my naturalization interview at the main USCIS office. read more

I have to give this citizenship biometric service center a whopping 5 stars. It took 35 minutes from the second I walked in to the second I was complete and done with. There are absolutely no pictures allowed to be taken inside and security will check your phone to make sure it is off. Respect the rules to avoid any unnecessary problems. The center is kept very clean and the biometrics personnel seemed nice. This is a very important step towards achieving what probably every other person in the world wants; US citizenship. I wish every deserving person the best on this road since it is a privilege to attain such status. It is earned and given freely at will. The best to you! read more

Best government office I've ever been to. No hassle customer service with a smile. I went even though my appointment was past because the post office mailed the letter so late I received after my scheduled appointment had already passed. They didn't care, I was on and out within 15 minutes. They are open from 8-4 Mon-Fri, best time seems to be right after 2pm. They're easily located right past the bridge over the 110 outside of the downtown square. Bring something to read just in case as they ACTUALLY make you turn your phone off in front of them which I think is awesome. And it was super clean! read more

Very impressed with the efficiency of this office! 25 min for all the paperwork and fingerprints with a picture taken. I was running about 15 minutes late ( couldn't find metered parking around 9 am). But I've read reviews and it sounded that I wouldn't stay longer than an hour, so I decided not to spend extra $5 on a parking lot. Parked on 2 h meter about 2-3 blocks away. A very cordial and speedy group of people except for one of the ladies performing the biometrics. Extremely condescending to everyone and had little to no patience at all. After I spoke up and told her there's a way to say things she didn't apologize nor see the error in her ways. I'm not confrontational at all, but having seen the way she took advantage of her position of power made me want to speak up for others as well. They used to have a form to rate them and now that it seems unavailable, maybe this one lady (she's tall, on the heavier side, wears glasses, a little tomboyish) is letting it all out on everyone. Apart from that, everything was smooth and easygoing, but since the biometrics is the main thing, it makes the experience. read more

The security guard lady was very sweet and told me nicely to turn off my phone and I did but I forgot my AirPod in my ear and as soon as one of the lady started assisting me she basically yelled at me to take that AirPod out I told her my phone is off, my issue was that on my green card they wrote 24 instead of 27 for my date of birth and so I put both the green card and the work permit and she was like "you don't need this" and just had such a bad attitude and was on a power trip, as soon as I got to the fingerprints lady she was so rude some of the fingerprints weren't coming out right and she was squeezing my fingers and grabbing my hands with such disgust and I'm not very photogenic and she said "you're so tense, that's why you get photos like these". I felt so uncomfortable I literally left the office crying. Worst experience ever I felt so sad about it read more

USCIS has mistakenly scheduled me for an appointment in Brooklyn (next week) for my I-90 so after reading the Yelp reviews here I've decided to try my luck today. Showed up around 2pm (seems to be the least busy time), handed them my appointment letter (they didn't even read it, just stamp it) and I was done in less than 12 minutes. Friendly staff, too. I went there for my citizenship interview with my husband. My husband's appointment was at 2:30, and we assumed mine would be at the same time and went there around 2:00. When the officer/security D. Frial told us we missed my appointment, my husband and I thought that everything was over. However, Mr. Frial said to us that he'd try to fit me in and did as promised. And the officer who interviewed me, Pilgram, C., was just a fantastic human being. She created a relaxing environment, and my interview went smoothly. I can't compare my experience with any others, but I can tell that I had the most fantastic citizenship interview day. read more

**PLEASE READ FOR YOUR OWN GOOD, EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS PLACE FOR N-400, CITIZENSHIP BIOMETRICS** 1. The biometrics process, by itself, takes about 5 minutes. 2. However, your appointment time doesn't mean jack shit (they literally don't care, saying "It doesn't matter.") 3. Get there before your appointment time, but this doesn't mean the total length of your stay will change 4. IMPORTANT** You are initially stuck with a bunch of other people who just fucking came in with different/same reasons, or/and different appointment times, OR/AND just walked in. To repeat, your appointment time doesn't mean anything because you are just stuck with everyone in the same pool, in an order depending on when you check in at the reception. They quickly glance over your documents, and gice you 1st number. 5. Once your 1st number (1-100) is called, they verify your documents again, THEN give you another number (up to 400 or something, but 2nd number gets called upon quickly) 6. IMPORTANT** It took me 75 minutes to get my 2nd number. I waited for another 10 minutes, my 2nd number was called, and the biometrics process took 5 minutes. 7. Entire process took 90 minutes for me (11AM appointment; Checked in at 10:55AM, Received 2nd number at 12:10PM, 2nd number was called at 12:20PM, Left the facility at 12:25PM 8. Must turn off your phone, and you will be forced to just hopelessly look at the employees (they can't even speak perfect English, pretty contradictory for processing US Citizenship. They are not mean or anything though) repeatedly checking in people who keep walking in, while not processing the 1st number you (and others) receive. 9. I can see it may be POSSIBLE for you to walk in at your appointment time and leave within 15 minutes on a super empty day, but it is probably very unlikely. Above is exactly what I experienced today. 10. Ending remarks: Pure processing times are very fast. You just have to wait like 90 minutes for your turn. Your appointment time doesn't mean much. Also, just park at the 1st public parking lot at sight right next to the facility. Pay $5-10. Don't waste time trying to somehow save that $5-10, just eat one less McD. read more

Best government service center I have ever been to and I have been to the one in DC, NY, chicago and now in downtown LA !!! I hate going to dmv and that's why I was nervous to go here for my fingerprints but I can't emphasis enough how polite and professional everyone was. My appointment was at 9am I got there 8:40am and I had about 7 -10 people a head of me. I was all done and on my way out at 9:12 !!!!! Come on !!! All I can say is the staff at this location should be recognized by their manager as they were amazing. Thank you for making it easy and pleasant for us. read more

The guard was very nice and polite though and I was glad to hear that I could come back to LA which is closer to my office. I came here with my husband to do a walk in a week before my due date and the manager said no! we were in line since 7 am for nothing. obviously i wasn't lying if I waddle when i walk with my big o belly. I agree that he might have had a better chance if he tried to do a walk-in after 12. however, we were the only ones doing a walk in so the manager could have said yes. my csection is scheduled for the same day his appointment was. First off, the map and neighborhood listed here are wrong. The ASC is located on WIlshire one block away from the 110, not in k-town (unless you're being liberal about the neighborhood's boundaries). Had a very good experience here for my wife. We arrived for her early biometric and were allowed to walk-in (your mileage may vary depending on how busy they are). The guard was very welcoming, and allowed me into the waiting area even though I still had my phone with me. He just asked me to turn it off. The whole experience was super fast. 15 minutes total from the time we stepped in to the time we departed. The security guard is very rude he thinks he runs the place. He kicke me out because they had so many people and appoitments. There was about 10 persons inside. They should hire aomeone that actually speaks clear English and Spanish. Some people woth older relatives were also told to leave and some of those persons needed assistance filling the application and reading. This os the worse experience with this office. read more
