Upon our return we were having some difficulty connecting to the internet. The rep who answered the phone was very patient and helpful. He was able to quickly troubleshoot the problem...it was a rather simple fix at our end. He stayed on the line until we had connectivity. He offer to send a technician to move our router to improve the connection. Great service and highly recommend Comelec if you are looking for an internet connection in Dubuque.

CFU is getting out cable business. They encouraged us to do it by end of 2025. I am an 83 yr old,…read morethe only person in household who has any techie knowledge limited as it is. CFU would not answer any ? relating to how to do this and suggested hiring some one. I figured it out and changed us to YouTube TV. CFU today to find out what to do with the black cord remaining, Dakota called it a coaxial cord. He said "whatever I want to do with it". I didn't know if I should leave it exposed or cut it off, one is at least 20 feet long. This was the first time I was not enthralled by CFU customer service. I asked again "so it's ok to just cut it off". He said again (do what you want it yours). I guess a wanted him to give me a (yes cuttting it off to get rid of unsightly wires is fine, they are not live wires,) His words were succinct and condescending. Oddly prior conversations were very helpful over the 60 some years as a customer. CFU must have told him not to waste his time on past CFU cable customers.

It's not a bad speed and its pretty reliable, just wish they'd call it 100Mbps service instead of exaggerating so much. When I talked to them about it, they said that was pretty typical. So why not correct the advertisement for your service then and be honest? They have a 1Gig service, too. I wonder if you really only get 300-400Mbps!

After scheduling the appointment for a service tech to come out the process was tremendous. From keeping us informed to letting us know what would be happening the process was very smooth. Ryan the tech arrived on time and in a matter of minutes had diagnosed the problem and began to fix our internet. Can't say enough good things about Ryan from his knowledge and courteous approach on the whole situation! He explained what was wrong and what he would do to fix it.
