I paid for a Samsung watch 2 years ago. I have been paying for the service since. The watch doesn't hold a charge for more than 12 hours anymore. I decided to cancel the watch from my account. They say I owe $83 as I still owe on the phone! That is not correct. I went to Verizon and the worker only had me talk to another worker on the phone. That guy did absolutely nothing useful. Do NOT buy your phone from Verizon Onalaska. I purchased my last two phones from this location and they consistently provided terrible customer service. Their associates are dismissive and unprofessional. They do not take the time to assist customers. I bought a phone at this location a couple of years ago and the Rep was rude and would not take the time to show me the phone's features. The only reason I returned to the Onalaska store for my next phone was because I needed a replacement phone for a trip out of town and Onalaska was the only local store that had the phone I wanted in stock. Once again, the associate would not take the time to answer my questions about the functionality and features of the phone. Onalaska does not transfer your data and apps from your previous phone to your new phone without a fee, whereas other locations transfer your data for free. If you want to purchase a Verizon phone, buy it from the Holmen or La Crosse locations. The Reps at these stores are more cordial, knowledgeable and provide a far superior customer experience. read more

My 74 year old mothers phone stopped working. The girl at Verizon was very helpful and gave us what seemed like a great option at a new phone, BUT, we had to change plans. While the new plan gave a great deal on the phone it looked like it would be more expensive each month. The girl showed me everything she thought possible including the cost per phone with auto pay. I read and re-read the advertisement sitting on the desk for this promotion, including the small print at the bottom. This plan looked to me to come out at $20 more a month but added a Hulu, Disney + and ESPN. I had planned on changing auto pay to my credit card which would pay for a flight each year or a hotel stay and essentially cover the extra cost and get my mom a phone at a price she could afford I have a picture of that promotion. No asterisk or details of any kind to tell the customer their are further details the customer needs to know about auto pay. long Story short Verizon will only give a discount to auto pay using a bank accoun/debit card OR a Verizon credit card. I called Verizon multiple times and escalated this as they are legally required to disclose this when a contract is signed for the phone and the plan is changed. There response to the picture of their promotion:"The prices shown on our advertisements, commercials, and our website include the Auto-Pay and Paperless Billing discount as the baseline of our pricing. When viewing the plan details online, there will be a view details link or information symbol (i in a circle) that provides additional details, including the types of payment methods accepted for the AutoPay/Paper-free discount" Kind Regards, Naomi Executive Relations I don't agree with Naomi and as a buyer I am telling you to beware. No stars! I've been to the store numerous times and have never had a problem. Today I went in there to upgrade my iPhone and was told by some unprofessional gum chewing associate that I would need to change my number and get a In order to upgrade my iPhone. This was after he stared at his tablet for 3 to 4 minutes without saying a word. I told him that those things don't happen and he said yes they do. So I left and went to a LaCrosse location. The lady at that store was more than helpful and gave me all of the information I needed. This guy at this on Alaska location in a black Verizon T-shirt with the shaved head and a few scars on his face should be fired immediately! It has nothing to do with how it looks but it has everything to do with how uninformed and unprofessional he was and probably always is! read more

There never seems to be enough employees working here, especially on the weekends. The set-up of "registering" when you enter and then having a representative come to you when they are available ensures a fair process; however doesn't take into account not all questions are equal. I had a question about transferring my fiancé's line to my account under the new Share Everything Plan; we waited 30 minutes and were no where near close to being helped. The manager, who was signing people in could have answered my question in less than 4 minutes. We ended up walking out as the wait wasn't worth it. read more

Been going to this store for years. You use to be able to go in and talk to any rep on the floor and get the help you wanted. My last few times in the store the person's I dealt with were not interested in selling me what I wanted but rather what they thought I wanted. Today I go to look for a case for my iPhone and I finally just had to say no thanks and walk out because this guy was really pissing me off! read more

Excellent service. Almost bypassed store based on other review - other review is not accurate. We were greeted immediately upon entry, and advised of expected 15minute wait time. We looked at merchandise and decided which phone to buy while only waiting 7 minutes for service. Nate N. provided excellent customer service; he identified issue with texting that a franchise Verizon store could not (or perhaps would not). Also, we were able to activate a currently used phone instead of buying a new phone. And - he helped us decide on whether to change our current plan. Ignore other review and shop here - all our problems solved at no cost, excellent advice, and outstanding customer service. read more

Had a damaged phone. Went to Verizon store and was told by the manager, Elliot, and employee, Kristen, that I only had two options since my upgrade was five months away. Get the phone fixed or buy another outright. After some research and questions through other sources I learned of a third option - damaged phone upgrade. Went from a 5s to a 6plus at Best buy in less than thirty minutes. Yes it cost money, yes it extended my contract, but there was a third option available. If Best Buy knew about the option why was I not told by the Corporate Verizon Store? read more

My wife and I bought two new phones. When I asked about transferring information from our old phones to new phones I was told we had to do that ourselves and got a quick explanation of how to do this via several online programs. We are not tech savvy. We are trying to figure this out. Tried to call the store, the phone number goes into a national office with a recording. After spending this kind of money, I should not have to try to figure out how to transfer contacts, etc., from old phone to new. Lack of service, lack of concern for the customer, lack of caring about doing the best for your customer. So we now have two new phones we cannot use because we do not know how to operate the necessary programs. And we cannot reach the store by phone because apparently that is not allowed. I guess it is inconvenient for employees to have to answer the phone and actually interact with real customers. read more

I've been to this store twice now. The first time I went there was to get a droid razor. I felt like the salesperson was trying to talk me out of getting such an expensive phone. Over and over again he would say wow this a really expensive phone. I found this annoying but at least he wasn't rude. Today was my second experience at the store. This salesperson was sexist and rude. Not only was he swearing ( including dropping the f-bomb) , but he also answered his phone in the middle of helping my husband and myself. I will not be going back to this store. read more
