I wanted to use their 'bring your own device' plan, but was told at another US Cellular office that it was not compatible with their network (despite their website compatibility checker saying it would work.) Shonda Hall at the Wards Road store checked it and was willing to give it a try. She was able to make it work, transferred all my data and I am all set with my new phone. Going in, I had been prepared to camp out as long as needed to get the transaction completed, but she had me back out of the store within 45 minutes. I went to us cellular today to get my phone fixed to send in to the company they didnt believe me that nothing was wrong the hit something n it still messing up they refuse to fix my phone i advise people to go to another phone company these people suck and are ripoffs read more

I wish I could give the entire company zero stars! When my father passed I took my mother into the store to have everything switched to her name. I begged her to just let me add her to my Verizon account but, she refused. The agent talked her into getting a new phone while she was there. We rehashed my fathers passing and had to show proof that he was in fact deceased. To our surprise, when her statement came in it was STILL in his name. We tried numerous times after that to get it changed again. After being a loyal customer to US Cellular since 1994, my mother made her payment online on the day it was due. She was rewarded by US Cellular turning off her phone the next morning. They claimed that she had to make the payment days before the due date. EXCUSE ME?!?!? Then told her that they could see her payment but, it would be another $10 to turn her phone back on. That was it, the proverbial straw!!! I took her into Verizon and put her on my plan. US Cellular taking one last jab refused to release her number stating that my mother had called and cancelled her account with them. These people are blatant liars! Their cellular service sucks and their customer service and appreciation leaves much to be desired. Do yourself a favor and go with another carrier. read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. Sales rep was uninformed gave me incorrect information multiple times and then charged me unmentioned fees after I left the store. On top of all of this he connected my new phone to the wrong number on my account and I had to go back and wait for him to fix his obvious mistake. Completely unprofessional, bait and switch sales tactics, horrible customer service, 0/10 would never patronize Verizon again read more
