I asked a lot of questions and they kindly answered all of them and explained the difference between a closed MRI & open one. Also the pros and cons to their knowledge. I went for an X-ray and Brian the technician was extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable about imaging machines. Also after further conversation, he helped me discover that the MRI I did at a previously location was not correctly done, and it was not the full doctors order. This caused me a big headache for another reason to have to go back and deal with that horrible previous facility. Truly I wish I knew about Burbank MRI first. Front desk personal was very polite and professional , she processed my paperwork fast and took me in. Room where my test was done nice and clean. Since I am very picky person and have hard time to trust when it comes to my health, I will say this office will be my and my family's number 1 place to go for all our diagnostic ultrasound tests. But If you're coming here bring snacks because you aren't going to be seen within your actual appointment time. Ever. It often takes about 40-50 minutes to be seen past your actual appointment time. They'll often ask if you've eaten today and 15 minutes before when your appointment was supposed to be is not recent enough since you won't be seen until much later. Our last appointment we came in because we were supposed to monitor a hole in our babies heart (which they said we should have consistent visits to make sure it closes up) and we were given a trainee who didn't explain she was a trainee and took 45 minutes to do the ultrasound and was SILENT. She hovered over his brain for 15 of those minutes alone and I was beginning to think something was seriously wrong with our son's brain or skull. I asked multiple times if things were looking okay. When the actual technician came in to get the measurements we were rushed out at the end, when she asked if I had any questions I asked about the hole in his heart and she said "what size was it last time?" And I said I didn't know they just said he had a small hole in his heart, to which she said "I don't know- it's the same size if not smaller. Babies are fine with it we just need to monitor it. They'll be in touch if they have anything to get back to you about." I get things get rushed but there's a much better way to navigate conversations like that- especially ways to not instill anxiety in parents and ways to instill that things are okay.

TL;DR: To have a great experience, don't talk to him while he's scanning you. He's the top fetal…read moreultrasound doctor. He trains people. He needs to concentrate. He's not Google. If he finds something you need to know, he'll tell you when he's finished. Sometimes he'll say something out loud to an assistant-that is for them to notate the chart. Don't use it as a cue to comment or ask questions. When he finishes scanning, measuring, and charting, he'll answer your questions. He'll send all his findings to your OB/Gyn who should answer any questions. His expertise is scanning fetuses. He's not an obstetrician or a gynecologist. It's been a very long time but I was under Dr. Devore's care for both pregnancies. Baby 1 had kidney measurements that needed to be monitored from 16-26 weeks. He explained the statistical risk in a tone that suggested he had to give this speech all day every day. My husband is a statistics guy so when he asked a specific question about how one finding on the scan raised a statistical risk 4x, it was like Dr's whole vibe changed. Like he was talking to someone who knew what numbers actually do and don't mean and he clearly likes talking to people like that. Up to that point he was kinda cold and scary. He snapped at an assistant about a spelling error on a chart in front of us and that was awkward. Not a good sign that she was terrified. For second baby I had low amniotic fluid measurements in the final trimester so I had to go in 3x a week the last 3 weeks. I saw an assistant for that part and she was so lovely. I was actually sad the day I went in and the Dr said no more measurements, time to induce because I knew I'd never see her again. Dr. Devore was indifferent when everything looked normal but as soon as he diagnosed the fluid problem he became solicitous and comforting and warm. Not gonna lie, he liked talking to my math nerd husband over talking to me-the pregnant lady.

The MRI was as expected, but the earbuds, and pillow made me almost fall asleep because I was so comfy! Dr. Dadsetan even showed me areas of where damage is located, made recommendations for how to continue with recovery, and I was out within an hour. I went back about a week later after injuring my foot for an x-ray, and was met with the same amazing and fast service. The best part was being able to get such a personal experience with Dr. Dadsetan, it was clear see that he is incredibly knowledgeable, and cares deeply about the comfort and happiness of his patients. The staff working here, should be working at a BARN and dealing with animals instead of human beings. They lack basic customer service, accountability and professionalism. I waited 2 hours with an injured shoulder for a scheduled appt. The staff did not apologize once or acknowledge that I have been waiting. Instead they were very rude and dismissive. I decided to leave and asked for a refund, even for a refund the staff made me wait and gave me a very hard time. I'm not sure who owns this place or runs it; but it's old, dirty and I would not trust them with any imaging if they can't even schedule appts correctly and don't have the respect to treat their patients with care.
