Their salesman David Castro was very helpful with answering all of my questions for a massive job involving the removal of 12 trees from my property + stump grinding and trimming branches protruding from our neighbors' property. We were admittedly a little nervous when their quote came in much lower than other competitors that we had visit initially, but the entire crew that showed up were extremely efficient & courteous. They answered all of our questions and guided us through the process seamlessly. Worse service I ever experienced. I signed a contract with with USA Tree Service to trim four (4) of my beautiful roses that have been in my back yard for 11 years. When the employee told me the job was finished, my beautiful rose bushes were not trimmed but butchered to the ground. I called the office and all I received from the receptionist was 'SORRY'. No plan was made by this company to fix the mistake. I made phone calls and emails, made a review on Google. Mike from USA Tree Services called me and asked if I would please remove the review because they were receiving many calls over what I wrote. In good faith, I removed it, explaining to Mike, that I wanted a contract written from his company, stating that if in one year these (4) rose bushes did not grow, they were responsible to replace with new scrubs. I then received a Statement that said: PRUNE down (4) rose bushes in the backyard area. This does not sound like a contract to replant trees in a year if there is no growth. Another email was sent out and another review was put on Google. I then received an email from USA Tree Service, stating , We appreciate the opportunity to work with you and value the trust you've placed in our company. As part of our 'COMMITMENT to QUALITY SERVICE & CUSTOMER SATISFACTION', we agree that if the rose bushes planted as part of our project, do not return in the spring of 2026, our company will replace two (2) rose bushes at no cost to you. I HAD FOUR (4) ROSE BUSHES THEY DESTROYED. This agreement reflects our dedication to standing by our work and maintain a positive and lasting relationship with our clients. Avoid these guys at all costs!!! I needed a tree removed that bordered the property line of a contentious neighbor. I contracted with USA Tree Servicers to remove the tree and then they talked to the guy and came back to me 2 days before the work was to be done. They wanted to be paid up front to take the tree down and wanted the money that afternoon. I paid them by Zelle (my mistake) and they never took the tree down OR refunded my money. The sales person David Castro sent an email stating he was hoping to get my business . The office person stated the crew would come the following day. I called at around 11 a.m . and thought I was originally told the day was open learned crew would be here in Towson till 4 p.m. Time came and went I called David Castro and he said crew would be at job site between 5:15-5:30 pm Never received a call and I called stating if workers weren't at house by 5:45 pm to cancel. The price was good, however, you get what you paid for, right? Jonathan came out and seemed professional, but on the day the job was done is a different story. They came for a couple hours and then left without saying a word. We waited a few hours and called as we thought maybe they were discarding the wood and took a lunch break. We were told they would be returning later, but had no time frame as to when. We continued to call multiple times throughout the day as there was zero updates and we were just being brushed off. If they did not want the job and to get paid then they should have said so. We had plans to go away for the weekend and this lack of communication caused us to leave late in the evening vs mid-morning or mid-day as we wanted to. We had to have someone come over the next day to sit at our house as we were told they were not coming that day as planned, but could come tomorrow. Surprise, surprise they never came. On the second day we continued to call the company and never reached anyone. That evening we received a call that someone could come out on Monday as no one was working over the weekend... if that was the case then why say you could come. We were given no time frame or call to confirm someone would be coming by when Monday arrived. Around 3pm, a gentleman showed up. No notice what so ever. What if no one was home? After he was done, he knocked on the door and did not say a word. I understand if someone does not speak English, but to just stand there and expect the client to read your mind is ridiculous. He did a good job, but it was hard justifying paying them for a job we had to constantly call them about to finish. I was impressed that they did not use a Crain when all other companies said it was the only way. They did have to reschedule but made sure to let me know what and why. Horrible company! Avoid at all costs. Gave me a written quote to remove some tries then tried to back out of it. A complicated case for sire with a contentious neighbor,but USA Trees, and specifically both Miguels who work there, are as slime as they come. Two days before the job they suddenly ask for $1500 for a deposit (no where stipulated in the contract). They wanted it that afternoon or they were renewing on the contract. I sent them the money, only have the crew showed up to do the job and they left without doing it citing the neighbor confused them about which tree needed to come down. I was not given my deposit back and they stopped taking my calls. So it is off to small claims I go to get my money back. And oh! They speak fluent English when making the deal, not so much when they don't want to hear what you are saying. Again....avoid this company at all costs! read more

Interestingly, all the one-star reviews are done by a certain demographic group, which proves my theory is correct. This company will treat you a certain way based on where you live and how you look! I had a horrible experience with this company and experienced the same complaints as the other one-star reviews. They promise a job then leave you to clean up the mess! I attached pictures of the "stump removal" they promised me in my quote. Rude, unprofessional, and inconsiderate. They did not want to remove the stump the first day, but I refused to pay until they removed it. Then they came back the next day to grind it up and leave the mess in a pile on my front lawn while also getting some of the pile on my neighbor's lawn! We had three huge dead oaks removed by USA Tree Services on Oct 4 this year. After the initial call, Miguel visited within two days, assessed the situation and fixed the removal date for just two days later. The crew arrived on time and got right down to work. By the evening they had safely brought down three huge trees without the help of cranes, trimmed dangerous branches on other trees, cleared away logs and other debris in the yard, cleaned up thoroughly after them and later hauled away the big logs, all for a very reasonable price. The entire crew was polite and mindful of the property. And later Miguel came to inspect the job. We would definitely recommend them to anybody looking for expert tree removal or other tree work by a company that performs efficiently and speedily. read more

They arrived on a Friday around 10:00. They worked for a bit on a tree stump removal. They left without word. I called the office. They indicated that the crew was going to return soon. Nobody came back... this was after several phone calls to two different employees of the company. After numerous phone calls, they said that they would be there in 20 minutes. Never happened. I called again, and the guy said, they will be there first thing tomorrow morning. I called at 9:00. Spoke with the same man as the day before. He said, they will be there. Nobody showed up and nobody called back. I called two different phone numbers but no answer. They showed up Monday afternoon without warning to finish the job. USA Tree Services,LLC is good cutting down trees however they don't know the proper way to prune trees. They topped a large silver maple tree that was in our yard. The tree had lost a large limb because a storm had caused it to break and fall. Miguel said that his men could prune the tree cutting a third of it in a U shape . Miguel said that they're would be new growth in a couple of months. The job was done in August of last year. As of Novenber there was no growth. I phoned and he said to wait until Spring of this year. I did and still no growth. We had an Arborist look at the work that was done , all the pruning that his company had done to other trees and was told that it was not done right. Trees shouldn't be topped. It weakens them. With our tree there is no growth to the limbs that were cut and the tree left standing looks like a bunch of bare logs upside down. Miguel will not phone me back to discuss correcting the job. The only thing that could fix this mistake is to cut the rest of the tree down. Noone should hire Miguel to prune trees. He hadn't the knowledge to do this job correctly. We paid money to have the job done and I depended on USA Tree Services to do a good job. Miguel said that he was experienced in doing this type of job. He was not. The complete crew and all equipment showed up right on time and completed the job timely. The workers were extremely well organized and through. USA Tree was a referral from my sister, who stated that a neighbor had used them. We called and they came out within 24 hours to provide an estimate on a fallen tree. Once they arrived we mentioned some other outstanding concerns, a dead tree that had not yet fallen and the clearing of an area with lots of yard waste at the back of our lot. The estimate was fair and reasonable, and the following morning they called to say they could complete the work that day. They had committed to returning the following week. They completed the job in a little over 2 hours and did a terrific job. I cannot say enough good things about the service. If I could give 10 stars I would. We couldn't be happier with USA Tree Services. We gathered many quotes in a short period of time so we were happy USA TS came out as quick as they did (within 48 hours). USA TS was not the lowest quote, that belonged to a company (Company A) that beat the other (Company B) lowest price by 10%. However, Company A was not able to come out for a month and Company B did not impress me as they did not demonstrate any knowledge of the trees or appear to be a full time tree company. Thankfully, we called Scott and informed him of what happened with Company A and he was gracious enough to meet the price of Company B so we found that as a win. The crew was large and worked with great speed. They ran a safe team that protected our other plants as best as possible. We needed 6 trees that were 115ft or taller cut down and stumps ground and they were in and out in about 6 hours. They raked up the yard for any leaves that fell, repaired the divots from the trees falling and even put grass seed down in the areas that required it! We have many other large trees that, thankfully, just need a trimming to the top and we will have USA out again to do that. Couldn't be happier with the service! read more
