Title: Beware of "Mr. U.S.A." -- Unprofessional, Incomplete Work & 3 Months of Headaches
I trusted this place because my mother had seen "Mr. U.S.A." fix a scratch on a car before. I already had the parts for my vehicle and figured I'd give him a try. The car had multiple issues, and he assured me they were fixed told me to come pick it up the next week. He even said, "You might hear some noise, but it's just the off-road tire." I paid in full and took his word for it.
The moment I hit the highway, the noise got LOUD and scary. The car started vibrating violently. I brought it back immediately. He said, "That's weird," but took it in again.
That was the start of a nightmare. I didn't see my car for THREE MONTHS. I kept calling, showing up, asking for updates. Not only was he dismissive, he became rude even disrespectful to my mom, who initially recommended him.
When I finally got the car back, I asked him to test-drive it with me. He was passive-aggressive the whole time. That same day, the battery died. I replaced it, but the car kept randomly shutting off, especially when I stopped. It still vibrated badly and would hiccup while driving. Took it to AutoZone the employee laughed while reading the diagnostic codes. Talked to other car mechanics and tellin me, "Mr. U.S.A. is a joke."
Lesson learned the hard way: just because someone "seems" to know what they're doing doesn't mean they do. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more
