BEST SERVICE SHOP IN THE COLA/LEX AREA HANDS DOWN!!! When I first acquired my Audi S3, I was under the impression that no one besides Audi themselves were going to be able to service my car in Columbia. I am particularly picky on who touches my car, as it is my most valuable asset which I plan on keeping well past the 100k mile range, as well as one of my most time consuming hobbies. While I feel safe going to the dealership, the prices they charge can be, and usually tend to be outrageous. But, I did not feel safe letting anyone else handle it. Fast forward a few months after buying the car, I wanted more. I needed more power but I also needed peace of mind knowing who would be delivering more power to my car would be doing it right and Charlotte seemed to be the closest option. However, after discovering that Autohaus was an authorized APR dealer, I gave them a call and realized how devoted Shad and Allison and their team were to providing unbelievable service at unbelievable prices. They have been working on my car for two years now and have had an extensive list of upgrades. From chassis and suspension upgrades like springs and roll bars to vastly increasing engine power through exhaust, intake, and ECU upgrades, all of which have had zero issues since install. If I had not had Audi Care on my car already, I would not have paid for it and would have just brought it to Autohaus from the get-go. Seriously, you will not find a service shop within an hour of Columbia that knows the ins and outs of your vehicle while treating it as if it was their own. Shad and his team have taken my car to another level of fun and fast, but have kept it safe and ultra-reliable. From the average everyday 4 cylinders to tuned V10 powered supercars like the Audi R8, I have seen some pretty wild cars come through here and they always leave in better shape than they came in. I had my first experience with Das Autohaus this week and was blown away with how knowledgeable, diligent, and courteous they were. Shad and Allison kept me in the loop every step of the way and were so informative as to their findings and recommendations. Shad was also very good at using information that I provided about the vehicle history, performance, and current issues to get to the bottom of the problem. There are so many places that just go by the book/generic recommendations and end up making you spend more than you should. The pricing was extremely reasonable (way lower than dealership costs) and the shop was so organized and clean. They are very interested in the well being of the cars because they asked me to follow up with them soon to let them know how the car continues to run. Allison even left some goodies for me in the car which was so sweet and thoughtful. I highly recommend them for either import or domestic cars, and I will absolutely continue to take my car there for as long as I live in this area!! read more

I was referred to them in early 2016 and ever since then I have had nothing but the best experiences when it comes to taking care of my families needs. I have a '12 VW Passat CC Luxury Sport with 113K miles on it, so needles to say its at that point where its needing some TLC. Not only is Das Autohaus accommodating with my schedule, they are down right some of the most friendly & professional people I have ever met in my life. Every time I need them, I actually do not cringe when I hear the price of the work that needs to be done, because for one I know its going to be done right and they are going to give me the best price available. THEY GET IT!! Unlike places like McDaniels on Killian Rd, who treated me like a $$$, Das Autohaus understands the worth of a repeat customer. I am telling anyone and everyone who will listen to me. These people are amazing. They exceeded every expectation you have for a mechanic shop. When my car broke down on I26, on my way down to the beach, I brought it to them. I ended up having to leave it in their shop over the weekend and they did all they could to ensure I made it to my desination. Allison drove me, herself, to Enterprise. They called to make sure I made it later that night. And, when I picked my car up that Monday, they had it running, capable of getting me back home. They care about your car, as any mechanic should, but they care about people a lot more- which is something you rarely find. read more

I love everything about my experience with Das Autohaus. I started with an inquiry about APR Stage 1 for my 2018 Audi A4 Sline. Cleanest, professional little shop I have seen. Had a 99 VW Jetta that would not start. They diagnosed the issue and told me step by step the issues and how much it would cost to fix it. They had all of these parts in stock and had the car fixed up in a day and at the cost they quoted. You can't do any better than these guys to get your import worked on. read more
