On Tuesday August 19 I went in for a pedicure and a fill on my acrylic nails. The lady who did my pedicure did a great job.(I can not remember her name) Leo did the fill on my nails and he did a terrible job. He seemed very annoyed the entire time he was doing my nails. He was on FaceTime for the entirety of my appointment and wasn't listening when I asked him to make my nails shorter. They are also very lumpy. The next day my nails started chipping. I went back in to get them fixed and he only fixed one nail and just filed the other chipped one. He kept saying that my nails are old and thin and he didn't even fix the lumpy nails. The next day they started chipping again and now the top coat is peeling off. This was a terrible experience I recommend you avoid Leo if you go to this salon but other people do a great job. read more

Ehhhhh they over charge BAD. I was charged $77.72 for a pedicure. I requested to not have the massage or callouses removed due to personal reasons. I just think the prices are outrageous especially when they have no skill set with designs. Ridiculously expensive!! Will never go back. My daughter and I came in here for a fun relaxing girls day after never having been there. Normally we go to Amarillo and it cost us about $90 for the both of us we picked the pedicure that was $54 but then didn't realize it's 20 extra dollars a person for gel. They don't advertise this. It's on a tiny little piece of paper on the wall. The iPad they give you says $54. cost us $165 for both of us for a pedicure. And it was nothing stellar. Do not recommend. The reception staff are friendly and competent. They make customers feel welcome and relaxed. The nail tech that completed my daughter's dip set was rude, rough, and incompetent. He was upset that my daughter had long natural nails and was there to get a dip set. He tried insisting my daughter get an acrylic set. He then begrudgingly completed the job he was paid to do, however he was a butcher. He cut my daughter's fingers and he was very rough. He made her incredibly uncomfortable. Every step of the process my daughter had to ask him to do his job. If this establishment does not want to complete dip sets, maybe don't offer them. We could have gone somewhere else. Upon checkout the reception staff did offer cuticle oil, I guess as a sort of recompense. I am disappointed as this establishment had okay reviews. read more

This was my first time coming here. I was so impressed by the beautiful, clean, very tasteful appearance. The young Hispanic lady receptionist and assistant is absolutely wonderful! *UPDATE* I ended up on an oral and topical antibiotic. It got much worse than this photo but on the mend now after getting on medication. I specifically asked the nail tech that did my pedicure to please not cut deep into my toe because I had surgically removed the deep nail bed of my big toe two years ago. She told me it had to be done and that I had terrible ingrowns (impossible- the nail sits on top of my toe due to surgery). She kept arguing and kept cutting deeper and deeper. I put my hand towards my toe to show her that it hurt and to please not. SHE SWATTED MY HAND AWAY, kept cutting and proceed to talk to another nail tech hastily in another language. I found a photo on my phone to show her that it was done and didn't need to be cut and she finally stopped after the seeing the photo. I haven't had any trouble since my surgery two years ago (and many pedicures since) and now, my toe is swollen and pussing, just a few hours since she went to hacking on my foot. It's AWFUL! She was rude and I still can't get over how she swatted my hand. Hindsight is 20/20 and I should have got up and walked away immediately. I had my daughter there and she was getting a princess pedi and I didn't want to ruin the day. I did get my nails dipped and that tech did a good job (I think she is a manager). Spending one night in Clovis as we made our way across country, my friend and I were looking for a little R&R and to treat ourselves by getting our nails done. On our way to Clovis from Austin we looked up nail salons and found USA Nails Too. Despite its limited number of reviews (it is a small town in the middle of nowhere after all), we called and made two appointments for later that night. When we arrived, they took us to start our pedicures right away. The salon itself is clean and appears to be newly remodeled. The pedicure chairs were comfortable and the water was the perfect temperature. But the lady who did my nails ... man, oh man. Talk about attitude. She rushed through my pedicure - and when I mean rushed, I mean RUSHED (pedicure in under 15 minutes). She dug into my nail beds, and even though I was obviously wincing in pain, she kept at it. She never spoke to me directly throughout the entire manicure / pedicure process except to ask what type of manicure and pedicure I wanted. She was clearly annoyed with the attendants/assistants that work there and kept snapping at them. When it came time for my manicure, she didn't even both to move me to an actual chair/table. I stayed in the pedicure chair while she worked on my hands and had to awkwardly maneuver my arms to accommodate the weird seated-positioning. For $64 (basic pedicure and basic gel manicure), I don't know why this place is as busy as it is. Perhaps there aren't any better options in town. Two stars because I liked the color I picked - other than that, one star. read more

Do not go here!!! 35$ For a basic set they refused to trim the skin and cuticles unless charging an additional 10-15$. sanded my hands for 3 seconds before trying to put on the tips. I asked for medium long round acrylics and they were trimmed and shaped so oddly fat, pointed and short to the point where some were almond, some had square edges and the ended up thumbs looking like triangles. The manager came in and took them all off sanding them and refusing to redo them. Saying that the empty salon was too busy to do another full set. my hands were left with acryic residue everywhere and skin torn and dry and dismissed as an unhappy customer. never in my life have i seen such lazy and bad techniques and felt so ugly. You don't have many nail salons to pick from here in Clovis which is why this salon is getting two stars. This was my 3rd time getting a manicure here and I am beyond disappointed with my experience. I asked for a gel MANICURE and what I got in return was a quick file and buff to my nails before the tech started applying the gel base and then color. Do not call it a manicure if cuticle care will not be included! I didn't even get oil or lotion after the service. I feel so robbed. I paid someone $30 to file and paint my nails, if I would've known I would of done this at home for free. I read another post that cuticle care is an additional price when their services are already overpriced in my opinion. This place is always so popular, busy & does great work. When you walk in the smell is a little strong, but that's what happens when 20 pedicures, 10 fills, 2 acrylic & 5 gels are going on. Staff is extremely nice. Complimentary water & keurig coffee. If you need a Brazilian wax, Lynn is THE BEST person to go to in this town! She is very clean, fast, and before you know it, the Brazilian is over. I went for my first time yesterday and they asked me to arrive 30 minutes early to soak my nails off. The nail tech didn't soak my nails but rather she used another nail tip to rip them off my natural nail. It was super painful and she was extremely rough. I was then charged $70 for a full set & "soak off". It was over all just a bad experience and the tech was extremely rude and rough. Horrible experience! Do not waste your time or money here! I came in for a gel manicure and pedicure. I had gel on my nails already and the tech that was doing my nails put acetone on for maybe 3 minutes to 'soak' off the gel and started tearing at my nails and even ripped one of my nails off. There was no 'manicure' or even pushing back of my cuticles before slopping on a chunky base coat over my ripped up nails. I work nights so coming in to appointments for me during the day is a little hard, the gentlemen who did my nails asked me what I wanted, when showing him the picture of the acrylic nails I told him I didn't want that shape and told him the shape I did want. He proceeded to make the shape in the picture instead. I stopped him and told him otherwise where he then proceeded to raise his voice saying I did not say that as he fixed my nails. The rest of the time he continued to repeat everything as if I was incoherently dumb, mocking all of my responses and anytime he needed to release my hand, he tossed my hand away aggressively. When I came in the gentleman at the counter very clearly said that if you add gel to a pedicure-$10 extra.... however when I went to pay it was $25 extra- which is ridiculous. The guy who did my pedicure gave a nice massage/ and it was overall enjoyable but I asked 2x for a design and he still forgot. That's fine- less tip for him. There is a great variety of services here. I get my nails done every two weeks and they do a great job. I accidentally broke off a nail the day after I had it done and went in to get it repaired. They repaired it for freee which is nice. The prices are pretty reasonable but the service is good. I've been happy with my nails so far. read more

Yesterday (August 29,2019) was my second time going into USA nails 2. My first experience was pleasant but after I walked out I realized I had some bubbles in my thumb. Decided to give it another chance, which turned out to be a horrible experience. The nail technician was extremely hurried, when he went over my pinky nail with the electric file I pushed back in my seat and told him that hurt, he didn't apologize at all and just lowered the setting on the machine. He then also took a FaceTime call during the appointment. When he began filling with the regular nail file that also hurt, he actually filed at my skin making it burn(photos attached). He was so rough with my nails that I was waiting for blood to come out. He would also just yank my hand closer to him or just push it away to tell me he was done. I will never go back there and have already told my coworkers to steer clear. read more

I normally have a great experience every time I go here. Today, June, 25 2019, whoever the manager was today ruined my experience and I'm sure for everyone else. He was an absolute prick. Not to me, but to his staff. He was yelling at them, degrading them, and purposefully embarrassing them to clearly boost his own ego. It was 100% obvious that every customer in there was uncomfortable. Next time or anytime I go back there and he is working, I will turn around and walk out but not before I tell them why I'm leaving. Worst leadership example I've ever experienced. It's sad because they do such amazing nails but I refuse to be around such arrogance. He should be fired immediately. read more
