Gentleman's Barber will set you up right. Located right across the street from Green acres Park and neighbors with Fouzhou's. You can literally catch some dinner literally and if you don't, then grab some Chinese food and get a clean cut all in the same area. Parking wise this place shares a parking lot with Fouzhou's but this place sticks out like. With it's graffiti art exterior with Clovis legends etched on the outside, this place reminds of the shops on the west coast. It even has the classic blue red and white barber pole. Once inside your greeted by a clean interior with lots of heart. They have a small selection of pay for drinks and a TV while you wait. It's a bit modern and retro. The interior is newly renovated but it has soul and personality. Service wise Joe is top notch and he takes his time and genuinely cares about your hair. He's the owner and also the main barber. He can keep a decent conversation and if you're the type to just enjoy a cut and not say anything he can do that too. You can usually tell how much a barber cares by their clippers and Joe rocks the classic maroon Oster but with a modern twist. You only need one swipe with these bad boys and Joe takes his time. He'll make sure your fade has a smooth gradient and isn't choppy like most other places. Also he can go as low as a 0000 so all the military dudes or ladies can go hog wild. He also does some scissor work for those with thinner hair. Cost wise this place is a nice medium. You get a quality cut that isn't overpriced. For $15 dollars its a good deal. There are places in town that may be more expensive but you get the same quality at a much more affordable price. Call it a $20 with tip and your good to go. At some places when you get your cut and the barber is finally done you kinda have to Grease the wheels a bit. But joe's cuts are the bees knees. Great for a casual work cut or a steamy hot date this place can do both. *walk ins are welcome just as I did, so no need to sweat it and make an appointment in advance but expect a small wait when it gets busy. read more

Jose knows how to set you up right. I've gone here ever since I got stationed at Cannon AFB & I've never had a bad cut. He offers a few other services besides haircuts but I always just get the haircut. Prices are very fair, $20 CASH ONLY for a haircut Parking is a little weird but its connected to the Chinese Food place. No complaints here read more

This was an excellent experience, nice guy , knew how to work with my hair and was very clean with the clippers. Would definitely be back for another cut. Very pleased with the cut. Kind of disappointed for the price. Showed him a picture and told him what I'd like done with my beard... and he just kind of did his own thing. I didn't love the the haircut either. I'm sure he'll square you away if you need a military cut though. Nice guy, nice shop. read more
