this message is for all my dark complexion folks. i am out of word and beyond disbelief when it comes to this service. the less desirable quality of the cut received made me question their experience and competences. unless you are bald and need a clean shave, skip that shop for christ 'sake. a sport barbershop with no stylist. rubbish!!! i hope you do not make the same mistake i did for not checking their review prior getting a cut. it is okay to look rough for couples days and get an appropriate cut than wait a couple week in order for the hair to grow back. you'll look like you got a cut with a planer from a carpentry shop. ps: it is totally reasonable to let your customer know that you are inexperienced in cutting darker complexion hair. read more

This place sucks. Don't waste ur money or ur time. All the girls that work there act like they hate there job and very unprofessional. There all trash. The only one who can actually cut hair there is Jacki and she's hardly ever there. If u want a really messed up haircut go ahead and come here. read more

Locker room cuts, isnt some super supplement you can take to get some pure gainz with some bro science. Its a Clovis version of sports cuts or your typical men's sport haircut place providing patrons sports, shampoo and a haircut on the side. Ambience: here is clean and with a purpose. I came here after work and traffic was light. When you enter you find a decent sized place to sit down while they take your name. Overall it's nice and modern but not over the top. You see lots of sports themed memorabilia from the yard markings in the shampoo room, to the baseball pictures and basketball references in each of the haircut stations. Service: Was nice and straight forward. Got my name in and got to take a seat in one of their station. I got the champ which is all the fixings (shampoo, head massage and haricut) they seemed overall friendly which is nice with a place being just freshly opened. Small talk: I feel like it's a super important point when it comes to getting your hair done. Sure some people like to just sit and get their hair trimmed. But I get my hair cut on a bi-monthly basis so I enjoy getting to know the person cutting my hair and like knowing they can keep a conversation that's not forced but genuine to a point. My barber was able to keep up a decent conversation. It didn't seem forced and made the experience enjoyable. The cut: the cut literally makes or breaks a place. Ive received cheap 10 dollar cuts that would cost up to 30-50 dollars at a fancy stylist and I've gotten 60-80 dollar cuts that may have been priced in the low teens to mid twenties. The person who cut my hair did a decent job. Nice fade work and took the time to blend it. Additionally requested a bit off the top and saw some scissor work as well. Overall experience was maybe 20-25 minutes worth. The cut in the end looked decent. NOTE : you can really tell the experience level of a barber by the type of clippers they use in their art form. From fancy multi trimmers to just the basics. That is not to say a good cut can't be done with some entry level clippers. I consider the basics a good ole Oster with the removable blade levels as the standard for a decent clipper. It shows that they take what they do seriously or at least want to seem like it. It removes even the toughest of hair in one swipe and is clean and does the job. Additonally they have a very distinct doing that whines like an old school barber. The lowest this business can clip your hair is a 0 . But if you want that baby's butt feel on your head you'll have to finish it off yourself at home. Most mom and pop places offer a 0, 00, or 000. Also this place does not offer straight razor line ups which is something more of a lost art form. If your lucky you'll find a mom and pop shop that will do it all for a decent price. Price: wise it's about the same as a sports clips. Getting the shampoo is always good. Did not recognize if they used the good Paul Mitchell tea tree oil minty stuff that most sports clips places use to cleanse your hair. But it's priced decently. You can expect high teens for a regular cut and mid to high twenties for a shampoo and tip. Overall, this place fills a spot for men's cuts in Clovis. It provides the customer availability which sometimes is hard in a town where shops close on Sunday and trims hair at a decent price. This place has some bells and whistles but not the whole shebang. They give you a decent cut and the small talk is good. But do wish they could offer a straight razor with a fresh razor and the aftershave. But that in itself would take some time to get used to. If you want to treat yourself this is definitely a good place to go. It's almost the male equivalent of a spa but doesn't cost you an arm and a leg and you can be in and out in 30mins if traffic is light. Oh yah and with your visit at last for the champ it comes with a drink!! read more

So first I attempted to call and make an appointment. I called 7 times without an answer. That is not an exaggeration, I called 7 times. This was after the 11 am opening. Being that failed, I decided well, I'll just go down there. Upon my arrival the sole employee wouldn't acknowledge my presence. I had to ask her 3 times how long the wait was. She very rudely huffed at me 45 minutes then continued to ignore me. I then politely asked If I could put my name down and come back. She then told me in a very very rude manner that I quote "ya, but you better be back here in 45 minutes or I'm kicking you off the list. " It blew my mind, I stood there shocked for about 5 seconds and at that point decided I will no longer be getting my haircuts at locker room. I said never mind and left at that point. Gotten my last 3 haircuts there and I have no complaints, until today that is. Later locker room. read more

Trinity and Dorene are absolutely fantastic here. I have never had a negative experience with this Locker Room. I typically don't like chain barbers, but the staff are very friendly and makes it feel more like a small town barber. When I first moved here, I tried going to some of the local barbers, but none of them could get my hair how I wanted for a good price. Thankfully I found Trinity and Dorene here. Every time I see either of them, they exceed my expectations. They both do incredible fades, and take time to make sure it is right. Although I can't speak for the other stylists, I can't recommend Trinity and Dorene highly enough. read more

This place is all about a dog and pony show with lack of experienced barbers/stylist. I took my step-son to get a hair and after waiting for nearly an hour we were told that the barber/stylist does not feel comfortable cutting my son's hair! I have never heard anything like this in my life!!! It was very embarrassing! Needless to say, I will never be coming back!!! read more

This was one of the best haircuts I've had in Clovis. They are relatively new to Clovis but I am surprised they weren't busier. The wait wasn't bad and you get a free drink with your haircut. It is a little expensive if you get the shampoo and haircut deal about $20 but it was very relaxing! read more

I don't understand why you would have two hours of business left in the day and only have two employees on shift to cut hair. I showed up at 6 pm and there was a family with maybe 5 or 6 kids waiting and one more guy. I was told it would be over an hour wait so I sat down thinking it's just an exaggeration. An hour went by and I still wasn't in the chair! I left without a word. The quality of the cut at this place is definitely not worth waiting more than an hour. They need to hire more employees or schedule their employees for more shifts. I'm for sure going to be seeking out alternative barbers for the future. This business is awful. read more

Horrible!!!!! the girl that cut my hair had no idea what she was doing and made the start to a fade in my hair and didn't know what to do next another barber had to come help fade my hair. basically doing the cut. Well since the girl before messed up they had to push my fade up so i had a haircut i didn't want. And even then i still walked out with fade lines because but i was fed up. I had to go home to blend the fade which i was trying to avoid cutting my own hair after paying 20$.. do not recomend unless you want a buuzzcut. Like seriously what barber can't do a simple fade. And she didn't line my neck or hairline up at all! No way did she have a license. I would give zero but not a option I'll just travel a hour to see other options. read more

I took a 12 year old for a haircut and he's super picky. They didn't great job and exactly what he wanted. Courtney is the best.

Dissapointed overall. This place is modeled after Knockouts Haircuts for Men and Sports Clips, which both offer similar services. The difference is the ambiance and service. When you walk in to those places, there is music or sports talk playing over the sound system, sports playing on the tv and comfortable chairs to wait in. Here, you walk into a stark waiting area it's no music playing, and the sports on the tv are muted. Not very inviting. As for the haircut, I get a very simple haircut-a medium fade- which seemed to confuse my stylist. I had to ask her to recut the fade because it looked like a bowl cut. The hair wash seemed rushed, and the rinse didn't fully get the shampoo out, but did get water in my ears and on my shirt. The haircut was just mediocre overall. Found out later that my stylist is no even licensed yet and is only a student. Seems odd to allow a student to cut a customer's hair without supervision or letting the customer know that fact. Hopefully the business can address these issues as they go forward. I would give one star but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt as a new business. read more
