You need a pedicure, that's all there is to it...and TJ's will take care of you! Tammy (not sure how your name is spelled, so sorry :-|) was wonderfully meticulous and careful with my ugly feet, Marie was cheerful and genuine, and Cody was very considerate and kind. The experience was liking visiting family and of course their work left me knowing I will return soon. It was my first time getting a pedicure/manicure and I wish I had done this many years ago. I scheduled an appointment the day prior and they saw us on time. Marie was engaging and it's obvious they love their clientele! Definitely will be seeing you all again soon and I'm looking forward to it!

With the help of some photo examples, the stylist understood exactly what I wanted and gave me a wonderful trim with proper layers. My hair feels so healthy. The dead weight and dry ends are gone. I am thrilled that my hair wasn't chopped too short. My hair looks great no matter how I style it. The salon is very cute and the owner is really nice and provides a lovely experience.

On Tuesday August 19 I went in for a pedicure and a fill on my acrylic nails. The lady who did my…read morepedicure did a great job. Leo did the fill on my nails and he did a terrible job. He seemed very annoyed the entire time he was doing my nails. He was on FaceTime for the entirety of my appointment and wasn't listening when I asked him to make my nails shorter. They are also very lumpy. The next day my nails started chipping. I went back in to get them fixed and he only fixed one nail and just filed the other ones. He kept saying that my nails are old and thin. He didn't even fix the lumpy nails. The next day they started chipping again and now the top coat is peeling off. This was a terrible experience I recommend you avoid Leo if you go to this salon but other people do a great job

Ok I'm visiting from Washington, DC and this place is pretty clean for such a small town. Their…read moretools are sterile and the staff (two guys) is pretty polite and attentive. The only thing that was off putting was that my boyfriend was a bit leery not seeing any women on staff at the time. I did see a license for a female on the wall however only two guys were working and my boyfriend was not initially a fan of another man touching his feet. We both came in for pedicures. I ordered the pomegranate pedicure and my boyfriend requested the Gentleman's pedicure. Unfortunately with only two guys working at the time we were unable to get our pedicures done together. We actually made an appointment (as suggested in a previous post) however three other women walked in without one and they were taken care of as if appointments weren't really needed. All in all while I was getting my feet pampered my boyfriend was just sitting in water the entire time. Ultimately he didn't end up getting his feet done as it defeated the purpose of us going in together to get our pedicures. The prices were the normal for what we get back in DC so it wasn't alarming. I'm very big on cleanliness and so this place scored big for me especially being in Portales, NM. Had my boyfriend and I been able to get our pedicures together I would have raved with 5 stars. Our appointments were not honored so for that I had to take the rating down. Would definitely come back on my own but wouldn't really bother making an appointment as a previous person posted!
