We recently returned from a winter holiday vacation to find our basement completely flooded with…read morewater. The musty and moldy smell was overwhelming. What a way to end a wonderful journey! Fortunately, we had a reliable contractor named Rodolfo who had done work for us before and was able to come to our rescue. Rodolfo and his team arrived the same day I called him to assess the situation. They immediately started working to air out the basement and ventilate the room. Once they had a plan, they began removing the baseboards and folding down the sheetrock to air out the wet areas. While ventilating, they also investigated the source of the leak from the outside, which was caused by a clogged landscaping drainage pipe. They unclogged the pipe and built a new one since one end was completely blocked and unable to pass. With the root cause of the problem identified, Rodolfo and his team were able to restore the basement. Over the next two months, they worked diligently to completely transform our large three-room basement. They installed new tiles and carpets, replaced the baseboards, and painted the walls. They even did all this without making the rest of the house dirty by using plastic separators and sealing off the area being remodeled. Rodolfo and his team are incredibly hard workers and have exceptional craftsmanship. We trust them to take care of any project in our beautiful home. After the basement restoration, they immediately helped us identify another leak in the roof area and took care of the water damage there as well. You could never tell that anything had happened in either of these areas. We wholeheartedly recommend R Flores Construction for any remodel, whether it's large or small. They will complete the task and then clean up everything so that you never know they were there. Thank you so much, Rodolfo, Jonathan, Lalo, Lauro, and the entire team of R Flores Construction!

Edgardo was very responsive and I appreciated he gave me an estimate based on the list of things we needed to get done. They did disassembly of window treatments, patching, painting, light switch replacement, battery replacement in smoke detectors, and fixing a gate. I appreciated that he touched up more places than I had requested and was thorough. I would not hesitate to hire him again, either for this rental or for the house we live in.

A previous tech had just flipped the breaker a few times and called it a day, but the problem came right back. Johnny actually did a full diagnosis instead of guessing. He traced it to the real root cause: the circuit breaker in my panel wasn't compatible with my 240V panel, so it was never making proper contact. He swapped in the correct breaker and the AC has been running perfectly ever since. Very thorough, explained everything clearly, and the price was very fair. Super reliable -- I highly recommend him to anyone dealing with electrical or AC issues.

Was having trouble finding a contractor for what might have been a big bathroom job or small…read morebathroom job (most only wanted the big job). After a bunch of wasted time with other contractors I finally met Johnny and I happy with his proposal and ultimately his quality of work. We have in wall toilet tanks and both were leaking and to make things worse the specific product was discontinued. This was in the house before we moved in so I didn't know all the specifics. Therefore, we opened up one of the walls to determine if we needed to replace the whole tank or just the components inside. He figured out was unnecessary to replace the tanks and he was able to find compatable parts! As well we took the opportunity to add electrical outlets and another water source for bidet toilet seats. He did very clean work, took great care to minimize damage during the removal process (which is harder than if we were just demoing the entire bathroom tile). Bottom line it is very difficult to tell there was partial replacement and tie into existing remaining wall. I was particularly concerned with the partial tile replacement and grout work not matching up, but came out clean. We also had him water proof and finish off the stone around the tub and tile the wall behind the tub. He helped my wife and I make some decisions on tile because we were a little unsure. He was able to work with our schedule coming in a few different days that worked with his current schedule and ours because we work full time and with kids it is too difficult to just take any day off. I was happy with the work he did in the bathrooms so I had him also fix my sink which was an all-in-one custom counter-top into sink made of Corian. The sink had developed a crack and would leak under pressure. It wasn't as simple as just removing a metal sink and swapping out. He had to carefully cut the corean and this time we dropped in a metal sink that was very close to the existing size of our sink, but it required some slight modifications to the opening, along with adjusting the plumbing as the drop used to be centered and now was offset to side. As well the old faucet and soap dispenser were knotched into the corean, but becuase the metal perimeter didn't fully cover the hole he was able to borrow and cut to size the Corian from the section he removed doing his best to color match so it blended in. While it is not perfect options were pretty limited. He could have done epoxy and suggested that might be the way to go, but I advised that I just wanted him to cut out the Corian and blend it in the best he could. In summary, I was happy to have found Johnny and will definitely use his services again when the time comes.

I had no problem disconnecting the plumbing and removing the 1/4 round tiles and the sink. Once removed, there was some water damage to repair and the back rim of the counter was damaged. I fixed what I could, but I struggled to figure out how to install the sink properly and retile around the sink. That's when I put in the request in Yelp and that's when we lucked into meeting Leo!! Leo responded and came in the same day we made the Yelp request (Sunday) listened to my story, challenges, and ideas and then shared what he could do, when he could do it and for how much. His offer was very reasonable and he committed to start the work Wednesday morning. Leo arrived early and proceeded to complete the project. He also offered to reconnect the plumbing, made sure everything was clean and working before he left. As you can see in the pictures, he did great work and Leo was extremely responsive to any questions or requests. The next day (Thursday) he came back to make sure everything was working, apply the silicone to seal the sink and faucets, and make a few adjustments per my request. We found a fantastic handyman and will work with Leo anytime we need his help. I've also shared his contact info with my neighbors and mother in law who occasionally need a handy man. I highly recommend Leo. He has a fantastic work ethic and a great personality.
