Saw the criminals (i refuse to call them suspects as they were guilty) break into cars live with folks sitting around in cars adjacent to them and people everywhere. They would drive up in a rental car next to their target with the passenger hoping out quickly breaking the window and be gone in 20 seconds. Police came and did their thing left and the criminals came right back and broke into another car. They are targeting this as well as any organized tournaments as they know folks are careless. Ladies - you CANNOT leave a purse in your car here. Don't even bring it. This is the one common connection to every car that was broken into. Cary - you have to get this under control. If there are events here on this scale you HAVE to post someone up out there.

Not massive but fair sized park facility including playground, shelter, playing and ball fields, etc. with paved walking/running path to use that connects to the adjacent Hatcher Creek Greenway. The Deets: During COVID-19 time, I've had a chance to walk over to Morrisville Community Park a couple of times to enjoy some outside time. It is easy to access by car with a parking lot off Morrisville Parkway, or you can walk there as I have using Hatcher Creek Greenway path access. From reading others' descriptions of the park, I expected it to be small (if you just considered the area around the playground) but I would say for Morrisville it's got a good bit of land to enjoy...I took plenty of pics of the areas I encountered). There is a children's playground area, and to the side of it appears to be a little outside fitness area to use. To the other side of the playground, a nice shelter area is available with adjacent bathroom facilities. I noticed a sign posted next to them stating that "this facility is cleaned and sanitized daily for your safety" which is good to know, especially now. When you past the shelter, there is a pretty large open playing field (?pickup games of football/soccer, etc.,?) and beyond that are ball fields. The field 1 is a 301 ft fence ball field and field 2 has a 200 ft fence distance, with both next to a nice facilities building. In between the open playing field and fields 1 & 2, there is a smaller ball field (field 3) that appears to be under repairs at the time of this writing. Park users can enjoy a nice paved walkway around all of the park area, and it connects up with the Hatcher Creek Greenway on both sides of the park. It makes for a nice loop in itself for a good walk or to go on further to the greenway for more exercise. In all, As with the greenway, I find Morrisville Community Park a great resource that the town of Morrisville provides to the public for use, especially when you need your exercise to be in an outside setting. I am a fan!

Six lighted tennis courts, a lighted baseball field, two basketball courts, playground, picnic tables and the trailhead for the Annie Jones Greenway. This park has quite a bit with restrooms too! The parking at the soccer field area wasn't bad but I do know it gets packed at that soccer field but there was also a playground and a couple of trails (the longest was about 1.1 miles so we did a couple). The trails were relatively easy to follow and had posts with color coordination. Overall a really close spot to me so will be visiting again. I do think the trails could be longer but overall are nice. Next time will visit the water with the overlook.

The ProBatter video simulators allow batters to hit against pitchers, and they offer batting cages and camps. Indoor facility perfect for all year long training. My daughter had her first private lessons with Mia who is an experienced and amazing coach! Mia was so wonderful, loved her energy and made my daughter feel so confident. There is a nice seating area for parents to sit and watch. Booking is easy and packages are available.

Bond Park Lake Trail is such a lovely spot for an easy outdoor escape in Cary. The trail is about…read morehalf paved and half unpaved, which made it feel a little more natural while still being very accessible. It was especially great for dogs -- there were so many happy pups out enjoying the trail, and the atmosphere felt super friendly and relaxed. A huge plus was how shaded most of the trail is, which made the walk comfortable even on a warmer day. The lake views along the way were beautiful and peaceful, and there are plenty of large grassy areas throughout the park that are perfect for picnics, tossing a ball around, or simply lounging outside with a book. The park itself is also very well maintained with lots of parking, clean restrooms, and helpful amenities. I also liked seeing the workout stations scattered along the trail for anyone wanting to turn their walk into a little fitness moment.
