My sister got her passport done by this place. She had gave them her passport in March and at the end of July (her trip was in August) they said they never got her new passport back while others that was sent out got theirs back. They lost her passport and basically told her to go to sf to get it done and would reimburse her for all her troubles. They gave her an itinerary and told her to use that in SF. My sister had to take a whole day off work and stay in SF from 11am-5pm and pay for parking which is expensive. When she got her passport, they said they wouldn't reimburse anything and that it wasn't their problem because it was out of their control. They went back on their word. Why should she pay them for their service when she had to do their work herself and take a day off from work. They tried dodging her calls every time she called and when she did go into the shop, they would brush her off and act like they don't know anything about this problem. THEN, after her trip, they were able to find her old passport that my sister had given them to renew with a "letter" stating that it was lost in transit. SUPER SKETCH. VERY unprofessional! She had to argue with them for a couple weeks and they only reimbursed her for partial credit. read more

Went in for a Visa. I was the third in line, and it was moving quite slow at first. There were only two people working; they were helping the customers and answering calls. I booked a trip out to Vietnam in October to leave in December and wanted to return in a couple months. They talked me into booking my flight for 3 months and that the return date we can ALWAYS change earlier because there are a lot of open seats on EVA Airways. SO I flew out to Vietnam on December 26th and return date of MArch 26th (3 months out). I wanted to come home Feb 1st and have not been able to get a flight back.I am stuck! they keep saying now that there are no more seats to fly back and that the earliest they have from Taipei to SFO is MArch 10th!!! but the flight from Vietnam to TAipet does NOT have openings! They said anything they needed to to get my to book my flight and now I am stuck here and cannot come back until March10th MAYBE!!! I was recommended to this place by my family, but my experience was not pleasing. I had my visa done here because it was the most affordable option available. However, I was greeted by a really rude and obnoxious rep when I went to pick up my visa. I had to pay up front in cash and and got a receipt for it. When I returned to the store to get my passport visa, the rep demanded the receipt...I was like ok, what's the big deal you have my passport. I complied anyway and showed her my receipt. After I got my passport and visa back, she kept the receipt. Now, this is probably not a big issue, but for me it is...after all, what is the point for a business to keep a receipt when they already have multiple copies already. The lady even had the nerves to ask me why I needed the receipt back... It's a business transaction so don't I have the right to my receipt?? TL;DR: Shady business wasn't clear on its intentions. Receipt withheld from customer, even though they have multiple copies already. This is a clear violation of the BBB. All transactions are made in cash so good luck to the IRS. read more

This would be the first and last time I ever came to this fight agent! If you think I have unconscious bias against them in the first place, don't. I've been recommended this place by my family (who TRUSTED this SHADY BUSINESS), but when I try to ask questions during my time there, booking my fly, the staff was really passive aggressively rude as if her manners were taught by *insert the name of the rudest person you've ever met*, gave me side eyes, and her tone sounds like she's talking to a peasant (sorry ma'am just because I look like a middle schooler (Asian never raisin/I'm in college) and took down my AirPods to show respect to the one I'm talking to doesn't mean you get to treat me like I'm below you) I obviously didn't use their service, but my mom and my aunt did (sorry ma and aunty, you're accustomed to this mannerisms and think it is acceptable for someone to treat you like that). We wasn't notified about the cancellation or flight changing fee (I was skeptical when they ask for CASH ONLY) though we did ask about it. Because of some emergency, my mom and aunt have to go to Vietnam earlier than expected, but when they try to ask for flight change, they fucking charge us $450 as if $80 service fee is not enough?! $80 SERVICE FEE is the fee we paid you to do your SERVICE AKA. YOUR FUCKING JOB and you couldn't even do it right and decided to ask for more??!?!?! Guess what's more intwesting? The airline that we booked (Korean Air) said cancellation and flight change fee only cost $30?!?!!?!!??!? (My mom and aunt pay for it anyway since it's EMERGENCY and they don't want to make a big deal out of this, such nice people. I love them nonetheless obviously). At the end of the story, find a different flying agent, do your research before booking with them if you still decide that their service and etiquette is acceptable, and do know that CASH ONLY = skepticism (or in this case only, I love my fellow food trucks). SHADY BUSINESS. Parents bought tickets through this agency and were ripped off. They were traveling to the motherland through the China Airline special promo for those born in 1959. They charged us some $200+ for "agent" fees. When returning to the US, their people in Vietnam claimed that my parents didn't pay extra for a weekend flight and held their tickets. My parents did in fact paid for this when purchasing their tickets. When they tried to contact the US branch to make a dispute, the people told them they should pay the "fee" anyway and that they would be reimbursed later. No reimbursement was ever issued. Even after we visited the office in person and complained, the staff refused to acknowledge or take any responsibility for this matter. I'm disgusted at how these people run their business. They come off as friendly in the beginning, until they TRAP you in Vietnam and have their minions over there take advantage of you. US Tours = U Stupid Tours, cuz we gonna rip you off! read more

my bf and i came here to buy our first tickets out of the country. we could've gotten cheaper tickets if we bought them a month earlier, but...argh. it's ALL HIS FAULT...so he's gonna have to pay for my fare as well. only then, i promise i won't nag anymore. the ladies there were very helpful. we sat with one of the agent "Thao" for about an hour, asking her so many questions about the trip. we asked stupid questions, good questions, etc... She patiently looked up fares for every available airlines, and answered our questions, and gave us tips & advices about our trip. their prices are a bit more than other travel agencies around, but i have a good feeling about them, so i insisted that my bf get tickets here. they have many branches in the bay area, and also in VN. when you land in VN, their agents in VN will come out and greet you and take care of your luggages and basically take care of you in terms of directing you to a hotel or transportations. that sounds good. the next day, we came back to the office to purchase the tickets, this time through the manager...this lady was so nice..or so she seemed. she answered some more of our questions and told us with a smile...to call them and ask anything we want. they'll try to help us with whatever they can. this made me feel so wam inside. oh, they even do visas for you...free of charge. i know some other agencies charge an extra $20 to do it. i will definitely come back to US Tours to get future plane tickets. the ladies are friendly and helpful. a lot of friends and relatives refer me to this place, and i will do the same to anyone who ask me. read more

The staff here is friendly and answered all of my questions. Like said before they have offices both here and Vietnam, so if there are any problems or changes to your itinerary, you have a contact in Vietnam to take care of it. The prices I found to be the exact same as if you were to buy online through discount company (travelocity etc) but this includes the international help and they take care of your visa as well. Also other agencies were about 100 cheaper for the actual flight, but they wanted you to fly some crappy "Vietnam/China airline" which I can not even find online. For the little bit extra you get Eva Air and for just a few dollars more you can get business class. I recommend checking this place out if you ever go to asia. read more

My family had always come to US Tours to buy tickets for the past 15 years when we used to live in the Bay Area. Most of the employees and especially the manager were super friendly and helpful. They answered all my parents' questions and also given us good price. I believe US Tours has a few offices in the Bay Area and the one close to us now is the one in Little Saigon, OC. We will definitely come to this location to purchase our tickets in the future. I am kinda surprise to read a few other's bad comments here.
