I highly HIIIIGHLY recommend BATA to anyone interested in and serious about EMS. Took an 8-week…read morecourse, and it was a blast. Scottie Johnson is a fantastic instructor. I cannot stress how chill and nice he was. The course was taking a toll on my physical and mental health, but Scottie's cheerful optimism kept me going. He truly embodies positive energy and makes lectures so much more bearable. His storytelling and advice were very eye-opening as well. I regret not approaching him for help more often. However, unsurprisingly, it's very rigorous. For anyone looking at an 8-week course, you will spend 20 hours a week: 10 hours on lectures (MW or TTh; 5 hours each) and 10 on skills (Sunday); of course, with breaks in between. Lectures will cover 6 chapters per week, and you will take lecture exams every weekend on the day of your skills instruction. You should be able to dedicate a huge amount of time to reading through the course material (at least 20 hours imo). So please reconsider your decision if you're planning to work or study full-time during the course. Otherwise, give it a shot! Be cool and professional, and most important of all, make sure you have a great time. I promise you, it'll be worth it.

So this lead me to give CET's course of Cleaning Service and Maintenance Technician a try. Now being a recent graduate of this class I can say that this was one of the best decisions of my life, the course wasn't that long, only 6 months and in those shorts months I learn a lot from my Instructor which was really patient and gave me a lot of 1 on 1 attention. My instructor was really young but he conducted himself professionally and with a lot of knowledge of what needed to be taught. The best thing was that my Instructor helped me find a job as soon as I graduated and all the skills required for this job I learned from him, I highly recommend this class or any other class, all the staff at CET at Watsonville are friendly and helpful.

My review is long overdue, I graduated the IT support…read morespecialist role back in 2022. i was part of the first IT class the school had it was brand new when I was there not sure how.It is now, but when I was there the experience was a joke and I didn't realize it was until I actually started working as a Tech. Learned pretty quickly, I was completely unprepared for real world IT. I knew the basics when it came to networking, Gpu,cpu, mobo, ssd you know all the components you would expect to learn about But the thing is, I barely knew anything Because they really taught us anything. Just enough to take our money The rest of the coursework was solely based off the comptia book and a few spreadsheets they gave to us but that was it ! , I can't speak for how it is now ? But if you are the class of 2022 or 2023 ? Goodluck you were scammed lol ! fortunately I managed to make it work and started from the bottom worked myself to higher positions along the way I'm now a Production Tech ( industrial ) no thanks to Cet I had to make it happen that school is not going to help you, you would be better off buying the comp T book online. Special shout out to Renaldo ! He was the first I.T teacher I had And was actually very knowledgeable, As far as the field goes unfortunately it did not last long and he was let go for reasons Not explained ? My second teacher was an idiot I doubt he could even build tbh, Just took our own money and ran As far as I understand it only a couple of us In my class actually stuck with the field the rest went and looked for other careers. It's sad, but I honestly can't blame them For the lack of real education, we had at the school. Do not go here For I.T !!!!! You can learn online for as little as $300 ! You can even just learn off youtube tbh At least the basics

My bff took the evening class and he shared his experience but I kept procrastinating. Finally my sister and bae pushed me to my limit because I've got nothing to lose. My employer will reimburse me a certain amount back for the tuition which I could not pass up. Second, having an additional cert will open up more doors in the medical field for me. As much as I hate blood, I stick children and teens every day. Lol... I chose the weekend class which is 5 Saturdays from 8am to 4:30 pm. Just remember you aren't too old to go back to school to make that dream of yours come true. My first day was absolute amazing. Our teacher was amazing. Her name is Lindsey Kline and she is full of positive real spirit, humor, honesty and direct. Lindsey works at a prison and her skin is thick. She is there for you every step of the way. Lindsey provides the guidance and support during Q&A and your blood draws. She's very responsive. I've completed my class yesterday and I know I will miss attending class. We had an awesome group of people that were always joking around, laughing and helping each other make our goals. Lindsey makes you feel comfortable and I loved her style of teaching. There aren't no shortcuts. It may seem like a short time of learning to get certified but she had given us all the knowledge we need and carry us through to prep for our NHA exam.

You get some lecture time and it's hands-on from there. The instructors are great and very good at what they do in and out of the classroom. The tuition you pay is worth every penny! Student services is great and they're fast with their responses and they are very accommodating. I highly recommend this school if you're going into phlebotomy, EMS, PA school, Nursing school or jobs that require this skill. In 5 days I got 65 successful sticks in via straight needles, butterfly needles and capillary punctures! Great program for anyone!

Bay Area Training Academy in engrained into my heart. I cannot express my gratitude for the people…read morehere, they are heroes (in my opinion). I did the 8-week course and they increased my intelligence and I am eternally grateful for them doing that. They increased my confidence & allowed me to build social connections with both fellow students and instructors. I want to thank everyone that helped me because not only did they believe in me but they also motivated me to be a better human being, full of compassion & willingness to assist during emergencies. Steve Albright is the lead instructor and he is gifted at teaching and he is hilarious with his style of teaching. This man is very much a father figure and someone I learned a lot from aside from the medical material, he is truly a pleasure to be around and he lifts up peoples' spirits even though everything can be stressful. Michael believed in me and expressed it in a way that I can never thank enough. I value my newly acquired friendship with Michael and I definitely felt his passion for teaching and "his" love for his students. He is a great instructor who I am proud to have been guided by in this process of becoming a Emergency Medical Technician. He believed in me more than I believed in myself and that is something that money cannot buy. Henry taught me so much and gave me a platform to grow and thrive upon. He was so amazing at teaching and building confidence without putting pressure and it allowed for one to practice like they would in "real-life", therefore it is impossible for me to thank him enough. Nav guided me in situations that are stressful her guidance in tough scenarios which is something I will never forget. Her military expertise is something that I admire and will never forget her words and they will stick with me forever. She also enlightened me with potential career opportunities for someone like me, she did this for all of the students and I'm 100% positive that everyone gained confidence from her insight. Kristian was an amazing instructor who sharpened my skills with his style of teaching. He really helped cement my confidence and that is something I truly needed and value. I know that he didn't just want me to succeed but to also help the patients/people that we serve. The time that we spent together was not nearly enough because he had so much more to give and I had so much more to learn from him, however the time that we did spend was maximized and as I mentioned I am forever grateful for his time and energy. Patrick is like a friend who I have known my entire life and he is a wise teacher who made the learning experience more enjoyable and he reminded me why I am even doing this in the first place. He reminded me of my core values and the type of person I want to be, which is compassionate, sociable, and an intelligent leader who can get things done under pressure. This man is a person that everyone likes to be around and that is something I wish to emulate. Overall, this has been a life changing course unlike any other course that I have taken. I truly cherish these people and they are all heroes which deserve everything that life has to offer because they are doing it from the heart. I am proud to be a Bay Area Training Academy graduate and I will do my best to represent them as I move forward in my life. They are truly all beautiful souls who deserve nothing but the best and coming to the academy was one of the best decisions of my life. I feel more equipped to handle family emergencies as my elders age around me and in my daily life. I am excited to continue my education and these are people that I want to keep close to me. I feel like i found my "people"/tribe. I cannot wait for what the future brings and: Thank you for everything BATA, I love all of you! Sincerely, Raul Angel Maravilla (EMT212AL)
