I've seen multiple reviews about this complaint, but the last two days I've shown up at 4:40-4:45 to drop something off and buy stamps and they're closed by the time I get there when they shouldn't be closing till 5. Both days it was me and several other people being inconvenienced by this. Today we could hear them behind the curtain and one woman knocked on the window and they just turned off the lights and kept talking to each other. I left work early and showed up the USPS store at 4:49 PM to mail a package. The door was already locked and a curtain was drawn. There was no sign saying they closed early. There was no sign even stating they had closed. I should have been able to mail my package this afternoon but now I'm going to have to miss more work tomorrow to drive to the USPS store. read more

This post office consistently closes 12-10 minutes early. Here I sit writing this at 4:50 pm and the signage says 5:00 pm closure. There are many disappointed folks. Some w its children they've unbuckled and out of car seats to find the inside desk closed. This isn't the first disappointment about this location. Three work the desk. One who consistently chews ice out of a glass while she has hazardly works, one who is constantly running off her mouth and complaining about the young man who I think is the best who also works the desk along with complaining about when she gets to take lunch. It's a joke. I'm sure it's the big mouth who also decides to close early to ensure that the two people in front of her are taken care of well before 5:00. read more

Midland USPS is the worst. Once again a package shows delivered however it was not delivered to me. Lord only knows where it is. I filed a complaint online finally today. Yesterday went I tried online it said "try again". Also filed a BBB complaint. I gave this place TWO chances and they FAILED miserably both times. I'll share my experience from today. So I came in to mail a package. I started using the self serve kiosk but it was asking me for addresses and whatnot. I just wanted it weighed and a sticker/stamp on it. It felt more complicated than it needed to be so I went inside. There were 3 other customers in there but they were all either filling out things, packing, etc. so I stood to the right of the island, waiting in line because there were not any postal employees at the desk. Then a Postal worked came to the counter and... to my surprise... called the lady to the counter who was waiting to the LEFT of the island. (Who was clearly NOT waiting there before me.) My first thought was, "WTF?" And the employee glares at me and says, "The line starts over there." WHAT?!? Excuse me?!?! There's NO SIGNAGE stating that the line forms on that side. AND the customer made NO ATTEMPT to say "Well, she was waiting first." I said out loud, "You've GOT to be kidding me." So we waited there some more until a second employee came out to help me. Not sure the name of the First Lady. She was the same miserable broad I dealt with the first time I visited this post office. She is a heavy set woman with way-too-bright lipstick, miserable AF, if she smiles her face will shatter. I'm sure if you've ever stepped foot in this establishment, you know who I'm talking about. Here's a tip... if you have to work with the public, have some sort of personality. Honestly, if you're having having a good day, it will probably be worse after leaving here and if you are already a bad day, it'll definitely be worse after leaving here. I'll be going to the Post Office on Veteran's from now on. I had a 5-Star experience there! read more

If I wanted to use the kiosk to mail my package with a prepaid label then I would have used the kiosk. I don't need someone telling me that I can use the kiosk to get a receipt for proof of sending my package. I tried one time on the kiosk and it said invalid barcode, never again! I tried to send something internationally at 4:30 and they said the computer was already off to be able to ship it out?? You close at 5, how is the computer already off?! I had to go to veteran's to ship it out. The one lady without hair isn't very pleasant but the one with bright pink lipstick takes the cake! The guy is OK but he's very dry. Worst service ever!!!! It was my first time there, not once but several times the male clerk was rude to guest, by his tone of voice and negative attitude. He is one of those clerks that if you don't have everything just right he won't help you, all I needed to do is put one strip of tape on the box and the male clerk said "you need to go back and don't stand in line" horrible manners. I guess that's why it was a one star review on yelp. Worst experience at a post office in my life, and I would go to one about twice a week. read more

I put in a change of address. 90% of the mail gets forwarded. Try to call them, no answer. They act like they are gov't employees. I shall give them no respect until they deserve it. read more

I get everyone is on edge with COVID19 but there is this lady at Post Office her name is Mary Lou that is really rude. I asked for 4 sheets of the heart stamps and she gave me lecture about which ones the one that says love or the heart because she "don't have time to guess which one and walk back to her station to be guessing". So I stayed calm and smiled and said the stamp with the heart please. It doesn't matter what time of year you go and see her she is mean and rude. Talks down to people and is really condescending. She's not a people person. Then you have the older man that works there such a nice pleasant man always smiling and happy to be there. SMH. read more

I was hoping it was just a "bad day" situation...but the women there are both atrocious. All the time. I can't figure out how the man that works there, stays there. He is always so friendly and pleasant. The women are a miserable presence. The disdain is palpable. It's sad. read more
