Convenient but understaffed & mail takes forever to be delivered. Recently they were just closed on a Monday with out an explanation!

Horrible service. ZERO stars, would not recommend. Avoid if you can. Staff seems like they hate their job and takes their anger out on customers for being asked to provide a service they are required to do. I work for a nonprofit and part of my job is to mail out grant applications via certified mail. Staff member told me she can only scan 10 labels at a time and that I would have to get back on line each time. This service is NOT cheap, the total will amount to about $400. I wouldn't mind them taking 10 at a time and taking care of a customer in between but to get back on line 6 times??? Ridiculous. read more

Hands down best post office experience! Small location only two people on staff per shift. As o filled out my money order and envelope they greeted every customer and asked how they could assist. They seemed genuinely interested in getting issues resolved and customers in and out of the door efficiently. I was in and out in less than 15 mins and that included the time it took to fill out my paperwork. Super happy with my experience. Extra points for having awesome music playing in the background. I know it's for the staff but I enjoyed it :) read more

The space is cramped, and like any post office, the line can be long. Obviously no one enjoys standing in line for anything, never mind at the post office. However the last time i was here, the woman behind the counter (who was working alone at the time) hustled like nobody's business to get people out as efficiently as possible. I was extremely impressed and incredibly grateful. Also, (unlike downtown) there's loads of free parking, so not sure why all the negativity and drama in some of the reviews here. Do packages sometimes sit at this location for a few days after USPS claims they delivered it? Of course! It's the postal system. That's just how they roll, my friends. I'll take USPS over Fedex any day of the week. read more

Was reluctant to wait in the long line just now to send two packages but it went so quickly to be honest! The young lady who helped me- I regret not remembering her name- was incredibly polite and efficient! First time at this location and always used to go to the one Downtown- will use this one just 5 min away! read more

US Post Office - Post Offices Near Me - Yonkers, New York

Just use UPS or FedEx for packages if given the option. If I'm expecting package I already know I'll have to go down to to post office and speak to a supervisor. Packages are constantly falsely marked as delivered, attempted, etc. I have literally watched the same employee pull up to my house and then drive off, maybe because of the light rain, SEVERAL TIMES. I had a tailored dress overnighted so I could wear it to my sister-in-law's baby shower that weekend. I stayed home the entire day and it was marked online as "Delivery Attempted". I checked security cameras---SAME WOMAN who refuses to get out of her vehicle. It's drizzling outside today and again a package I was expecting says "delivered" and it was not...so I have to go to there AGAIN to find out where my missing package is that I paid to have them deliver to ME.. read more

My package has been 4 days delayed on which I was told it would be sent to this office. I've been calling non stop for 3 days since I don't have the time to go there but THE PHONE IS NEVER ANSWERED! I haven't been able to speak to anyone because they don't pick up the goddam phone! read more

What to say ; they are to close at 6pm but I call at 5:35 and get no answer and disconnected. I'm calling to tell them that they have delivered a package to the wrong address again!! The last time this post office claimed to have to delivered a packed to my address by accident I was harassed by a crazy lady saying I stole her package. I understand delivering hundreds of packages and thousands of letter each day is no small feat. but for the people that work in the front end and offices not to answers the phone is why the post office is losing money! read more

The worst post office in the world specially the manager/supervisor. He never picks up the phone, never follow through or call you back. My packages have been lost there or we're sitting there and no one cares. Very upsetting. I was waiting for my package oversee for longest time and when I reached out to a sender he gave me tracking number I went to the office they could not find it. Apparently it was delivered a month ago and I didn't get any notifications, so the manager/supervisor had to call me back a month ago. Guess what ??? Still waiting, he is not picking up his phone and whenever I go there he is always out. Please stay away !!!! read more

Terrible service & they do not know their jobs! I had to send 2 packages registered mail, so since I was there for other business I asked the procedure - gave them a detailed explanation of what I needed to do and what forms I had to fill out - they wound up giving me all the wrong info. When I brought the prepared packages to the Main PO they told me it was all wrong and I basically had to do it all over again. read more
