The counter lady was shockingly rude when I asked which envelope to use for my license plates. I've never mailed anything in my life, so I was just asking, thinking a normal person would just point to an envelope and I'd be on my merry way. No, this lady acted as if I cursed out her mother and yelled at me because I wasn't sure which one she pointed to...? There were like 10 sizes. Sorry I made you point twice? Made you expend 1 extra calorie? Do you want my firstborn to make a balm with? Bizarre and I can see why the USPS is dying. read more

I had an extremely inconvenient debacle with an online servicing system with USPS. I ended up going to the post office on Camp Avenue and was helped by one of the most kind and generous people. The supervisor's name was Rowland. The front desk folks were very kind, too. I would highly recommend this location for mailing service needs. read more

This was the worst customer experience I've ever experienced. Two workers - Danielle and Mary - were unprofessional, unkind, and lazy. I had to send out a handful of certified letters and waited for my turn in line. When it was my turn, Danielle told me she wasn't doing it and that she was "going on her break." After Mary said she would take over, she made up a rule that she could only do 10 letters (I've since looked this up, and it is untrue). To treat me unkindly bc I asked them to do their job was disgusting. read more

Dear Kat K. - I do NOT work for USPS. I told you I'm a customer(and a retired teacher). I repeat my advice: "controlled upset" demeanor. Kat, I'm now also having a problem with a carrier. I've called USPS, and no one is answering. My next step will be to go down to the station that manages carriers for my address and try to make an appointment to speak with the station manager. If that doesn't pan out, then I will file a formal complaint online(although, according to the USPS site and phone info., one can opt for that immediately). Because of the nature of my former career, I prefer to work my way up the food chain. The carrier will then know I attempted to resolve this by treating her with initial respect(and not knowing the salty language I use at home about the situation). So, Kat, we each need to work STRATEGICALLY to solve our problems. Anything less will just be a useless howl at the moon. read more

I have had 2 packages lost recently one about a month ago and one about 2 weeks ago. Both were dropped in the Dropbox which I no longer will use at my package was never scanned and now I have no idea if it's lost, stolen, etc. and overall I've lost about 4 packages within the last 2 years from this post office location. Not sure where they end up after dropping them in the Dropbox. They have long lines now especially during Covid because people are no lmm on never trusting the drop boxes and they are getting receipts for their packages. I will be doing the same so I have proof of Dropbox when needing to dispute this with retailers, websites, etc. I've also filed claims and the packages are always found months upon months later. read more

"As for the reviewers who had an unacceptable experience like Kat K., may I suggest you go down to the Camp Avenue branch and ask to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT to sit down with the manager about it. This will increase the seriousness by which the manager should view the complaint. Also, offer your ideas. Your demeanor should be "controlled upset." Hope this helps." I do have a job, and guess what? It doesn't involve babysitting you and your employees to ensure that they're doing their job correctly. However, if you would like me to come down to the office and to provide some assistance, I would be more than happy to show your employees how to lock mailboxes, lick stamps and deliver people's packages. Yesterday was the third time in a row within two months that my mailbox along with 50+ other peoples' mailboxes have been left open due to negligence. So, please Wendy, tell me more about what demeanor I should portray. The Camp Avenue post office advertises helping people with passport renewal, well they lost my passport. I don't trust them, I have called them twice and they promise to get back and never do. I have never lost an insured envelop until they "helped" me with my passport. read more

The girls at the front window are working their tails off with no support from the back. The girls get a 5. I was watching them for 20 minutes at 2:30 in the afternoon. It's the slow time of day. They were nice and professional and helped their customers. The guy in the back, I believe his name is Rich is awful. I went to pick up my mail. The girls told me to ring the bell at the door next to where they are. I did it sounded awful. I waited three minutes. Rang it again. A little longer this time. Still no one came. I looked up their phone number on line. 321-3910. The phone rang for 5 minutes before someone picked it up and hung up again. I rang the bell while I was waiting for someone to pick up the phone. When the person hung up on me I called back again. This time I also rang the bell. And this time I was pissed so I held the bell for about 30 seconds when one of the girls asked me to stop ringing the bell. Which I did. The other girl went to back to get Rich to help me. And then I hung up because after 20 someone was finally doing something. This gentleman in a red and blue plaid shirt comes to the door and says to me what do ya want? I said I want to pick up my mail, my carrier x called you to tell you I was coming and here is my ID. I asked what took so long. He said they were are short staffed and he slammed the door in my face. I called out and said you didn't need to slam the door in my face. He calls back I did not mean to do that. No apology. I called back and said of course you did. It turns out (this is what I learned from listening to his employees) he hangs out in the back all day while the carriers are out and I interrupted his relaxation time. So he was mad. Had I just waited about 30 minutes then his relaxation time would be winding down because the carriers would be coming back in. I don't know who this guy knows but he should not be a postal manager. read more

Worst customer service ever! had to pick up a package and was told to ring the bell. Did so multiple times with no response. After 20 minutes I asked the representative - who was not busy at all (there were no other customers) if she could go find the supervisor, and she said they were purposely ignoring the bell. Supervisor finally came around the corner and said he had told the 2 reps to handle these requests. She proceeded to yell and berate him saying he was doing nothing back there and refused to help me. He asked me to step over to her station that she would help me, and she again refused, and said she was shutting down for the day. It was the most unprofessional, disrespectful exchange I've ever seen. She should not be working in customer service, hope she was fired for the way she treated me and her supervisor. She came back out a few minutes later and waited on the next customer, never apologized. read more

I would give zero, if possible. I have called everyday to make an apt to get passport done. THEY LITERALLY KEPT ME ON HOLD FOR 25 minutes and never picked me back up. Eventually, i just hung up. You have to make an apt, yet as soon as they hear passport, they just put you on hold and never come back. This happened again today. I was on hold on one phone and picked up another phone to see if i could get through and then it just rang busy. I do not know how they get away with offering passport services by apt, if they never pick up the phone to make an apt. THIS IS CRIMINAL!!!! read more
