Although I have owned the house for over two years, the carrier puts other people's mail in our box, but not ours. Instead, ours is returned to the senders. If I want to get a package, I have to get it sent by UPS. Terrible service. read more

We've were waiting on a shipment of parts to fix our dryer. The business who sent the parts, promised to send them FedEx, but they got sent USPS. We don't receive USPS at our home address (but FedEx does come to our home address). We waited and waited. No FedEx parts box, BUT one day a mysterious car drove up, dropped off a box, and left. It was a Soldotna Post Office employee. They had saved us more waiting for more parts to be sent instead of returning the undeliverable box back to "sender". That was SO kind! Worst post office ever. They're just plain incompetent. Even the employees will agree with this and have on two occasions. Including acknowledging that they are incompetently managed! I feel bad for them actually. I consistently find Mail not belonging to me in our box and they lost a package of ours that cost $100 with medicine for our dog. Multiple other packages were either sent back to Amazon or almost sent back. Just awful! I'm afraid to order anything for fear we will never see it! Avoid if possible!!! read more

The clerks treat you nicely at this location. Their residential mailbox set-up, however, is poor. It's a new experience for me to need to pickup my mail at a neighborhood cluster of US Post Office mailboxes. The mailbox setup service is free to new homeowners, but it requires that my address' mailbox lock be changed before I can use it. *Sigh*, therein lies the Rub. One fella changes out the mailbox locks for the lower half of the Kenai Peninsula! It will be a couple of weeks before I may have my neighborhood mail service. read more
