No stars for this place, but they almost certainly deserve several rotten tomatoes for being rude,…read moreanbusive, and unprofessional. They used to be such a nice place, and the old workers from before were still helpful, efficient, polite, and sane. The bad changes to Washboard is not their fault.
But, the new owners and staff seem to have no idea or clue of service to the public, or of fairness, courtesy, and common decency. Under the new ownership, it's seemed one of the nastiest, rudest, most chaotic, filthiest places I have ever been to in my entire life, and they are overpriced.
There are instead, lots of great restaurants, bakeries, hotels, etc., in Homer to eat and shower and sleep, and there are two other reasonably serviceable, friendly laundromats, The Red Door, and East End Laundry. If that doesn't suit, it's probably worth driving 100 miles to Soldotna instead, rather than going to the Washboard!
