After getting all dirty and fishy in Kasilof dip netting over the 4th of July weekend, we decided to wonder up to Homer. This place ended up being a God-Send for us. We were able to connect our camper to power and charge up our electronics while we washed a few loads and took nice hot showers to refresh ourselves. The owner also was nice enough to let us play with some of his toys (a 4 wheeler) and helped us entertain an unimpressed teen. I'm sure that's not normal service, but he really did go above and beyond for us... I'm not sure if there are other laundry/shower places in Homer, but I think it's safe to say we probably won't be finding out, because we do feel we owe the owner our customer loyalty... Stop by if you are in the same boat! Another update: Clearly the negative review down below is no longer valid, they have lots of machines. read more

Clean and pleasantly quite. Not a huge place but sometimes that's exactly what's needed. I was nicely surprised to see they offered a shower for a $6.00 fee. It wasn't clear how to pay, but I felt $ and hopefully it gets to the right hands. The driers took over $3.00 to complete the dry cycle. But they had signs on the machines, the price wasn't a surprise. read more

We did laundry here when we were in Homer & it was great. The machines were big enough that we didn't have to do that many loads, and the staff were super friendly & happy to show you how everything works (there's a token system that can be a little tricky for the uninitiated). I'd do laundry there again. :) read more
