During the 2025 Holiday Season I made two visits to this UPS Store to ship items. A cheerful greeting was received, each time, as soon as I came through the door. Prompt assistance and good advice was given to help me make my shipping decisions. Overall, a very good feeling of accomplishment as I left. The best service I've had in Alaska. Not just one employe, but all the employees were knowledgeablknowledgeable, helpful and courteous.

A representative named Alyssa helped me with a complicated Amazon return. She was able to multitask, helping me with the Amazon rep, and the flood of UPS customers. Great customer service and communication. Because of her I will gladly come back to this location. Fair warning bring all your supplies there. Print your own labels and bring your own tape. My UPS store experience: December 20th I arrive at Soldotna UPS store at 10:30. I have an 18x12 inch 9.5 ounce bubble envelope that I need get to Bend Oregon by Saturday December 22nd. The very friendly young lady at the counter. Quoted me about $48 dollars for Monday delivery. When I told her I needed weekend delivery she told me that UPS does not have weekend delivery. Puzzled I told her I was going to check out FEDX & USPS. She informed me that she didn't think FEDX did weekend delivery either. I told her that I know that USPS does both Saturday & Sunday delivery with Express Mail. She said that she could ship it for me with USPS. The her new quote was $79.23 for USPS Saturday delivery. OUCH! but I needed weekend delivery so I let her ship it. Upon arriving home I checked the tracking number she gave me. It informed me that the expected delivery day MONDAY DECEMBER 24 3PM! I went on the USPS site and calculated what my package would be if I had gone to the Post Office. $38.95 & delivery date of Saturday December 22nd. The USP store charged me over double and 2 days longer. WHAT A RIP OFF the USP store was!!! I will NEVER! NEVER! NEVER! mail or recommended this store again!!!! Since then I have talked with another person who had a similar experience with a UPS store in Anchorage. BEWARE! They will rip you off!!!! read more

I have had a box at this store for over 2 years. The ladies that work there are extremely friendly and helpful. They always double check to see if any more package have come in before I leave and I'm in and out within a min most times. I think the other negative reviews of this store don't understand about shipping from Alaska. We don't have all the services that the lower 48 does and yes it is expensive. That comes with living in AK. Not UPSs fault. This store is amazing and it will be the one thing I miss about this town when I leave. read more

I've seen better customer service from a hostage taker, better business ethics from a snake oil salesman, seen more intelligence from a bag of hair, and felt less violated from a proctologist. Their online printing service is broken and in order to print you need to email them your document. What they don't tell you is they charge you $5 to print out anything when the online services only charges you for pages. Which means my $.36 print job cost me $5 for two pages. Not only that, you have to pre-pay for the online service, which means I paid twice for my print job. Disreputable and Shady. DO NOT USE! read more

Hmmm so this is my first review... honestly I must say my visit here was ... well it was interesting seeing as I found a pile of poo on the door step when I went to go in ... it was rather green and yellow very un healthy looking and when I got inside I can say with certainty that The service was like well there's no other way to say this it was like going to the proctologist painful , weird , awkward yet satisfying..
