When I asked a question, she didn't listen, and I had to repeat myself and ask if she even heard me. She apologized, but the overall interaction felt very disrespectful. There was no greeting, no professionalism, and no attention to customers -- just constant phone use. Based on this experience, I understand why this location has a low rating.

I'll save the trauma for my therapist, but I was running around trying to find the right boxes and best way to ship. The UPS Store told me it would cost NINE HUNDRED AMERICAN DOLLARS. Yes, $900.00 USD to send a somewhat awkwardly shaped packaged. That was literally insane. This was not the case with USPS. For a grand total of $72 and some change I was able to send two packages to my family member. Hetal was the USPS employee who helped me, and let me tell you, she was a literal dream. She was so kind and patient with me and helped walk me through the process with ease. There is another woman who works there as well and I cannot remember her name at this time, but she is also so dang delightful and helpful whenever I have had to come in. Going to the post office in recent years has felt like going to the DMV, but not at this location! Support your local post office! This post office is pretty good. Not the best, not the worst…read more The hours are pretty decent. They just recently cut back on staff though, so you're more than likely going to be in a huge line if you go during their closing hour on busy days. The will only have one person working the front. The staff is very informed all aspects of customs forms, what needs to be signed, paypal discounts, ebay, just dropping off prepaid packages and such. It's a very small post office for a very small town. Staff is very nice if you are nice to them and they don't ask a lot of private questions about your packages no matter how many years you've been going there. ::Steps away from computer to stuff human limbs with black tar heroin, and then stuffs into box:: ::wipes sweat from forehead:: Anyway. What was I saying? Ah yes, one of the only downsides besides funding cuts for staff is the postmaster being a little rude if you ever have to talk to him, almost like an old general living out his retirement in any branch of the government he could snap up. Where he can be in control; At night lighting up his cigar, drinking a glass of whiskey, while his one gay son is too scared to come out of the closet and his daughter still regrets that he didn't come to her wedding because her husband-to-be was Indian. During the day though the postmaster feels like he's stopping terrorists in their tracks with their anthrax packages and bombs. (I only had like a 2 second convo with the guy, all of this is false. He was a little stern though.) and second downside is the way they measure boxes. I ship the same sized box, one staff member always will ship it internationally for me, and the other one always won't. It's the way they measure the box, it's rectangular and won't fit the dimension max for girth going to say... Australia, but if you flip the box around and measure it the OTHER way then it will. So one worker understands this problem and will measure it the way that makes it work and bla bla bla the other doesn't. i DIGRESS THIS POST OFFICE IS A-OK.
