I called the Post Office directly and arranged to pick it up from them myself on the next business day. Andy, the Postmaster, could not have been more helpful. He was also polite and professional.

Waiting in line is really a drag, but an almost daily occurrence. Yesterday I waited a good 10…read moreminutes. One person at the counter only, while at least 2 others could be heard laughing and talking in the back room. Very unprofessional!!! The box I had waiting for me was way too heavy and oversized for me to carry. NOBODY stepped up to help. Not even the 4 men in line offered any assistance. I will go back today with a dolly and see if they will at least help me load it. Also, I find it very odd that the postal employees don't dress in uniforms or at least have some sort of ID on their apparel. Also chewing gum while serving customers is really bad manners. But I suppose government employees don't care that much, they know they have job security, no matter how sloppily they accomplish that task.
