After waiting outside in this heat for 30 minutes, the one and only worker comes back from her lunch break 40 minutes before they close to tell everyone she's only accepting drop offs because the system is down. She put a sign up about going away on lunch but she couldn't put up a sign about the system being down so she can't print out labels. She can't scan QR codes nothing. I am so sorry that I read these reviews and they are so negative. Even tho the staffing is always short the 1 or 2 clerks are always overworked and still are very kind and courteous every time I am there and that's 2 times a week. People needs to start writing nice reviews instead when you have a problem you act like it is the person's every day attitude. Some customers are just a rude. read more

Lazy, incompetent, rude and just plain stupid. Made an appointment for my baby to get a passport. They tell you to come 10 minutes early so we do. If anyone has a baby you know they are on a schedule. 20 minutes go by and I ask for a second time if they are coming. They say well she's on break. Like what is the point of making an appointment and telling me to get there 10 minutes early if they won't get to you until 30 minutes later?! And why not tell me this when I got here 20 minutes ago?? On top of this these workers have an ear phone in talking on the phone in between helping customers. read more

I was very dissatisfied with my level of experience i received at your postal office as of today 12/19/24. I was inside there mailing out some gifts for family members and the clerk women (African American, dark skin, heavy set, eye glasses) and when she was processing my orders she never allowed me to verify the shipping addresses onto the pin pad, i asked her if she can put stickers onto my packages of which she tried to make it seem like i was telling her how to do her job of which i wasn't and her attitude towards that was trying to be smart with me; also, she wouldn't allow me to take a picture of my packages after she processed and rang me up. The clerk women claimed that photos can't be taken once they are rung up which doesn't make since because i have down this multiple times at another postal office at a different location and they never gave me an issue with that. Lastly, after she finished processing my transaction i wanted to double check to verify that everything on my order was correct as far as shipping addresses is concern and she even gave me a hard time about doing that of which as a consumer i have every right to verify if she typed in the spelling of my addresses of which I'm having these items sent out too and her whole attitude was just obnoxious, rude, and unprofessional. Especially towards the end of my interaction with her and said quote "you customers are really something nowadays" while she rolled her eyes at me. As a consumer i don't appreciate this level of service or experience. I didn't get the womens name but on my receipt it says the clerk number is 33. I'm assuming that might be her employee number im not 100% sure, but im definitely not going to be coming to this USPS office location as long as this women continues to be employed there. Bad customer service experience and she needs to learn how to treat customers with dignity and respect. read more

Horrible. Rarely even open, even though they post hours of when they are supposed to be open, good luck. Or, they open 2 hours late or whenever they want. Government efficiency huh? The employees are rude as heck too, but thanks to them being black, they know they will never be fired because of that. read more

Terrible customer service. Not helpful or pleasant by any means. It's one thing to hate your job but it's not a customers problem that you hate your job. Extremely rude, belittling, and quite frankly embarrassing how the staff acts towards customers and in front of other customers at that. As a self employed business owner who spends a lot of time taking prepaid packages to various post offices multiple times a week - this was the WORST interaction I have had in 3 years. I will never go back to this post office even though it is closest to my home. Avoid this at all costs unless you are prepared to be dealt with like you're an idiot for just asking simple questions. read more

Good service, big area, has all the supplies you need, free parking, well lit with counter space to write your addresses. I am glad to have found this place it wasn't listed on yelp before. Now going to the post office is so much easier and faster. Usually no wait but average about 3-4 people in front. Will come here more often now! read more

Positives - you can get a passport here as well as do your typical post office errands. Negative- avoid going on a Saturday as they don't seem to provide enough staff. It took me an hour to mail a package and this was AFTER the Christmas rush. read more

Wow. Rudest group of people ever. The clerk was practically yelling at me because I was never in a post office where you had to spend your own money on tape and labels for international. She and the guy selling stamps were rude. I asked him if they had an extra pen. You would have thought I was asking for a kidney. With no smile he just pointed at the one pen they had that was attached on a string. They had 10 people in line and ONE pen. And ONE person, this clerk who was going slow as molasses. Apparently the woman at the center register about 11am on 7/30/2019, needs to be trained on the difference between first class and priority shipping. First time ever here at 58 Snyder, I usually go to Point Breeze. I've been labeling, packing, and shipping packages for two years. Now she's gonna tell me I have to put my priority label on a regular box, as I resisted, she got adamant about it, so I left. Nasty, impatient and ignorant "customer service" at the counter. I was unsure what to do so brought what i thought was correct to the counter. She impatiently corrected me with too much information that I still did it wrong again the next time. Now she is impatiently telling me I didn't listen to her. Raising her voice made me raise mine. She sends me back in line a third time but says she didn't send me back to wait in line the last time and that I chose too? Why would I get back in a line? A different rep helped me the next time and thankfully she made it clearer. I hope the first rude lady gets fired. A nicer, kinder more patient person I'm sure is desiring her job. Disgusting. Not sure why I have to go back in line when all i had to do was write my address in a second spot. read more

They advertise walk in passport application but when I walk in, they say they're busy and I need to make an appointment. Ok, I made an appointment and return on my appointed date/time. I walk in and ask about my appointment for passport and immediately the girl behind the counter was snippy and told me to take a seat and wait. There were only two workers and the line for regular mail was long. I waited 20mins passed my schedule time and still don't know who was supposed to do my daughter passport so I decided to go up and asked, before I can say a word, the lady behind the counter told me to sit back down, they get to me when they get to me. When I started asking my question, she interrupted me and told me to seat down and wait. What's the point of an appointment if you can't keep it? And you can't even spare some time to explain that you're under staff if that's the case? I walked out and when somewhere else. This place don't deserve even one star. read more

I went to get my passport photo. After waiting in line for about 10 minutes, they told me it was going to be an hour and they hand me some cheap laminate number. No problem, I will come back in an hour. Some snippy woman was like "you can't take that number out of here". I look at her and said "How about I leave a $20 deposit for your laminate number". Her reply "You're not taking that number out of here!". I am glad we use our subsidized dollars on such an inefficient system. Seriously why do we pay uneducated people pensions that cannot even organize something as simple as arranging a freaking appointment? This is the best post office I have ever been to which is saying a lot since, after all, it is still a post office (no windows, long lines, generally boring atmosphere, etc.). The staff here RULES; they are super friendly and very funny. I honestly think the weekday/afternoon duo over there could take their show on the road. Thumbs up! read more
