      Nice, newer facility as I had not been to this location before. Made an online appointment for my…read moremom to get her passport and although it was an easy and smooth process, I felt the employee that assisted us was irritated and was not happy to process the application. Even with the interaction with the other employee, she was somewhat abrasive. It wasn't until the end of the transaction that she kinda lightened up and was nicer to us. Had she not been, I would have given this PO a one star rating!

      Was next door at the Dollar General and mom needed a book of stamps and happened to notice this…read moreP.O. so we stopped in. I was the only customer in line and you have to ring the bell for the clerk. Once I rang the bell the postal clerk came out quickly and conducted my transaction. He was very friendly and efficient. Parking lot is a really good size.

      I was worried that a bent up envelope would have issues in the sorting machine, so I made a special…read moretrip there to ask the lady at the otherwise unoccupied counter if she would slip it into the PO box for me -- already stamped and everything. But she refused because she wanted every envelope to be counted because, "That's how post offices get shut down." Well the joke is on her because this interaction spurred me to find a new way to pay this bill -- and I will be cutting the USPS out of it. For this SINGLE envelope "not being counted" in Albuqurque, she's lost out on 1 envelope per month for the next 4 or so years... So not a lot, but it's more than this single envelope that I was worried about.

      Maybe they're just short-staffed or maybe they were behind more than usual because there was a…read moreholiday on Friday (Juneteenth) but I dropped two packages off on a Sunday and they didn't start tracking until Thursday. This is debilitating for a small business that gets dinged on late shipping. If a buyer cancels a purchase after I've dropped it off, there is literally nothing I can do. Especially since the platform I use automatically cancels after 4 days. Also, this location could benefit from a self-service kiosk or a large parcel Dropbox for packages.
