Surprisingly fast and courteous service. I feel like reviewing an US Post Office shouldn't even be allowed, because unfortunately they are all almost the same. I hate to put every office under the same bucket, but until my visit to this location, all of my previous visits have not been pleasant at all. It seems the workers are always in a bad mood, giving attitudes to people and simply hating life. So coming here and finding workers with big smiles, and actually helping people without any kind of bother was very refreshing. About an hour ago I left the post office in North Miami Beach, shocked. There was a young girl working there, a cashier named Post office North Miami Cristin more. According to the manager, that's her name. She behaved in an aggressive, unkind manner, without a smile or polite words, to the point that I told her that I didn't feel good about going out to send mail to Israel because it was urgent and I have no idea why she was acting towards me like a police officer or an army commander. I was looking for something in the address that was missing and instead of helping, she continued to answer in a big way. Finally, when I said, please call the manager, she told me: You're crazy! This is not my usual experience at this office, nor in Aventura, where everyone is nice, polite, and kind-hearted. We live in a very difficult and violent world today, and I think that nice and pleasant service can help get through the day, and a girl like that should not serve the public. read more

Some of my Post Box mail has been lost at least since July 2023. Supervisor at this branch found some of my important mail in another box above the one which I rent. I am missing a check I was expecting on Sept 8,2023 which was reissued on Sept. 26,2023. The second check is also missing ! This is no way to run a post office branch. People hired to put mail in proper boxes are not doing their job. I have no idea if the mail was stolen. These post office boxes are very expensive to rent with increasing cost each year. read more

Wow. I can't express how disgruntled I am with their lack of customer service. They will not answer the phone, No matter how many times you call. For some reason my carrier has been living notices lately instead of leaving packages at my door, so I have to resort to going to the post office pick them up. This on its own is quite annoying, but the fact that I cannot get in touch with anybody unless I physically go into the post office, makes me want to scream. How about you care for what you do!!! Staying home too wait for an official government letter and the postal delivery person is too lazy to come up (by elevator),so the pop their receipt of "no one home" in the mailbox is completely unacceptable. It happens often, which leads me to do the review. Now tracking the letter is another story. It's now still in transit to its next destination a day later (wherever that may be). So I call the post office and my wait time is 2 hours 17 minutes. "please be patient, someone will be with you shortly". 2 hours doesn't get my patience..... they are in transit. I'm not waiting for insurance documents or something that can wait. It's official, it's urgent and unless you're the dumbest person on the block, you would know this. read more

Horrible customer service and very disorganized! They also have a giant parking in the back, but they make you risk your life parking on the street of a busy giant intersection. No public bathroom and very rude personal. Would consider going to the Aventura USPS instead of the North Miami. read more

The fastest, most efficient Post Office I have ever been to. Come in here with a thick skin and don't get easily offended by the lovely ladies who will no doubt usher your ass into high gear if you don't keep things moving. But after having gone to this place 3 days in a row and seeing 3 different shifts of ladies, I was thoroughly impressed by their speed, and their snarky sense of humor. Dont take things personal. Hands down I have never been in a post office that moves people through so quickly, and they have signs all over the place guaranteeing your wait will never be longer than 5 minutes. Its an unbelievable improvement over nearly every post office I have ever been to in the entire country. Even if you walk in there and see 10 people in line, you will most likely be walking out the door in under 10 minutes. Most of the time half that. One of the ladies was a bit too abrasive and verbally was mocking a lady who didnt speak english and couldn't understand what she was being asked. But that's one bad apple among at least 7 others who cracked me up. Five stars across the board for this post office. And I hate post offices. read more

A customer and employee argued in front of me today and as I was there I know it's the employee fault, hoping not to get her, poor luck got me so I got her, her name was Denice or something like that. She was extremely rude! Everyone there is rude, if u don't like what u r doing then fking Quit!! Don't take it out on everyone geez ! I have been here a couple of times and have received about the same service. I definitely say they are consistent. I am an impatient person, so to get somewhere and see 2 people chatting about what they ate for lunch behind the counter while I was waiting in line (Yes! I was the 2nd person in line and the 1st person was being attended to :) ) is unbelievable. Did I mention that I am impatient??? I stared them down to make sure they could notice my displeasure. They wrapped up their conversation and came over to help me :) They have signs everywhere to navigate you to what you need so you don't have to wait in line just to pick up an item. Avoid going there during rush hour (Lunch time or after 4pm). I went there yesterday around 5pm. I was tempted to turn back because the line was to the door. Thank goodness that "pick up" had its own line. I was out in 2 minutes. Overall - I think they are efficient, just stare them down if needed :) read more

I just left the 16400 West Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, FL where i received very poor customer service from an Associate named Marilyn. I came in to pick up a package. I stood on the Customer Pick up line for about 5-7 minutes with no acknowledgement from the associates. When i walked in Marilyn was ranting and raving about a customer that just left. She gets up from her desk and starts sorting mail in front of me. I said, "Excuse me, Miss. I'm picking up mail." She says, "That's nice. I'm sorting mail. " and walks away. There were three other customers in a separate line that all agreed that the comment was rude and unnecessary. I wait another 5 minutes before the Associate next to Marilyn pages someone to assist me with Pick up. When the supervisor arrives, I beginning telling her about Marilyn's behavior and Marilyn begins to have an argument with me in front of her supervisor and customers. Down right rude and ill mannered I am very disappointed and appalled that this type of customer service is acceptable in the post office. Considering all the competition with FedEx and UPS, customers should be treated with respect. I asked a simple question. Marilyn seems to be very comfortable in her position. I spoke with a supervisor about it and it seems like this is the norm. I think this is especially disappointing as this post office has heavy pick up traffic because they do not re-deliver packages. Look, most United States Postal Services get a bad rep, but this one in North Miami Beach is an exception, a very minor one at that. I'm not really experienced as an 'errand-runner', so it's not everyday that I'm at the post office, but I did have to pick up a package, and I did so without a pink slip. The government workers was extremely kind and understanding, she didn't give me any problems. My last experience at the USPS has always been rudeness -- there's a vitriolic cloud that plauges these locations. This one, located right across from Laurenzo's, was a minor exception.
