This is the post office I usually visit since it's the closest to my home. I'll admit, I often dread coming because there's typically only one worker at the desk, which can mean long lines. That said, the staff here are always pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. They've consistently guided me toward the most cost-effective boxes or packaging options. Today, Chris helped me, and he did so with a smile. I truly appreciated his patience. Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced. I have called this placed now almost 30 times today and they keep hanging up on me.

As far as post offices go ive never had a bad experience at this location. staff is very polite. The lines have been back up at times but they handle things as efficient as possible. Only negative is that the office is in sore need of a face lift as it looks very old and the flooring and counters are well worn. read more

Shamelessly workshy. If I could award zero stars....I would. The problems with this particular P.O are endemic and have been for several years. From postal counter staff receiving items that NEVER get delivered. And even with a till receipt, NO REFUND. This time round, An eBay delivery, I watched the postal truck leave our small street - my ring doorbell clearly shows the USPS postal worker AND the van. And then my email says we attempted delivery. My bell works, the house number clearly assigned. And yet again, no delivery. This time - jewelry. If the items do not show up tomorrow: a) I WILL be making a formal complaint to USPS consumer affairs and also contacting the Lauderhill police, which is conveniently across the street. b) as far as I am aware ALL mail-pieces in the possession of the USPS postal service are considered FEDERAL property. c) If you don't like your job - find another one. And give someone else the opportunity. its quit simple, you put the box in the truck and then take it to the address and put it in the mailbox or ring the doorbell. It seems that this is too complicated a process for some. I guarantee since 2019 I have yet to give any postal worker for our address a Christmas bonus, because theres no value in the service. read more

An absolute disgrace. They do NOT honor the hours of operation. They will close in the middle of the day and let no one in despite people working at the counter. Worst of all they often close and Lock the doors before the posted closing time of 2pm on Saturday and 6pm week days. The lady that seems to be in charge should be replaced. I was here last week and the man that helped was very nice. Then today the woman with the give me attention red hair was absolutely horrible. Sending people back more than once to correct things. Exorbitant amount this rude lady wanted to charge me for shipping one live bird box. She calls herself the lead in the morning shift(red hair). Her lack of knowledge on how to process this shipment and her inability to be helpful to a costumer in need is unacceptable. I tried explaining to her that something must've been entered incorrectly and there was no reason with her she responded rudely that I should go somewhere else. Great customer service must be rewarded. And that was my experience with my recent visit to the post office today. As a matter of fact, based on my past experiences with the post office I was hesitant to pass by. I wasn't sending any. I just had a question that needed answering. But I went anyways! - And to my surprised I had the best customer service experience I've ever had. Angela at the counter was the most helpful person I have ever interacted with in any post office. She answered all my questions. She even called the mail carrier that services the area to provide me with the exact information I needed, all while being the only person working the counter, with a full line of customers waiting behind me. I'll will admit to having a few not so nice experiences but the good ones out weigh them. Most of the post offices have great staff, (sometimes not enough) but they do their best to accommodate and help everyone possible with their mailing needs. They are pleasant and efficient people, wish I could name everyone individually but thanks to everyone at the different locations in broward county that I've ever had to interact with. I was graduating on Thursday, December 12th at 9am in the morning. My stole, medal and cord from the National Honor society was delayed to be delivered. I contacted the Oakland Park post office 1 hour before they were closed and I spoke to the manager, Adrian who gave me his personal number to contact once tracking told me it was at his location. He was able to have my parcel for me at 7am in time for me to make it to my graduation on time with my honors. This is way over going above and beyond for a customer. He deserves high recognition for this. His workers were courteous and made it a smooth transition for me. I applaud them for helping in a dire situation. read more

They steal packages. Package said delivered at door/front porch on a certain day and time and I have video evidence to prove that they didn't come at that time at all and when they did come, there was no package, so I know it was stolen and I will be dealing with it legally. read more

Tucked back off of Oakland Park Blvd is a two window US Post Office. The people that man those windows are always pleasant, helpful and fairly quick. There has never been much of a line when i have been there. And when there is a line it moves along at a respectable pace. The other USPS centers in the area have more windows but I do seem to get out of this post office faster. read more

I live in Fort Lauderdale but unfortunately much of our postal service runs through Lauderhill - the Bermuda Triangle for mail. I needed contacts before a trip. Said it arrived 4 days ago. Never did. When you hire incompetent workers and do not allow their union to fire them for poor performance, nothing will change. Go through a private carrier. Our mail is delivered from this office. Our normal driver, Steve, parks in the no parking zone everyday. I asked him to move to the 30min parking, only 30 feet away, and he said he didn't care and that he parks where he wants! We have people trying to unload groceries, people getting dropped off, and some handy cap that need access to this area. Steve doesn't care! read more

My issue was not resolved if anything the supervisor shut the door in my face before speaking with me after being frustrated with a previous customer with a different issue which was also not solved and was rude. Unhappy with my unresolved service. I gave up after calling 4x and coming in 3xs. No one seems professional nor have knowledge to there jobs. They only help and cover each other when one of there own does wrong and a customer comes in for help and instead of admiring and helping to resolve anything they blam the customer with short and simple words with no kindest but only frustration read more
