I've been waiting on a package that was delayed for over a week. It was scheduled to go out…read moreyesterday when I checked tracking. An hour later the tracking changes to "Held at Post Office, At Customer Request" I email the company and ask them what happened, they emailed me back almost immediately telling me that they did not put a hold on the package. USPS lied, claimed the package was held by the customer. I didn't hold the package. The company didn't hold the package. So who is holding my package? USPS. And this all happens on a Friday so I'm unable to get ahold of anybody at USPS until Monday. USPS is actively being gutted by the Republican party, who actively want to destroy all government agencies and replace them with privatized entities.

Unfortunately that has lead to the hiring of some questionable staff. Regardless, the majority work very hard and love what they do. The work of all delivery services is not as easy as most think. Lots of details to getting your packages to you. .78 to mail a letter anywhere in the US is one of the cheapest things you can do. Package pricing is lower than ups/fed ex. Lighten up and appreciate those that cater to our laziness of shopping online!
